Awoke to disgusting backflow of clogged sewer line in basement utility room. Immediately called several “cleanup” companies who stated they would have someone contact me ASAP. Blackhill Restoration was the first to respond within 30 minutes and at my home 2 hours later. (Still waiting for a call back from one company)!
Derek and Chris from Blackhill Restoration/Springfirld MO arrived in uniform, in company van, Covid compliant wearing masks. They were professional, estimate very reasonable and, most gratefully, they came prepared to perform cleanup immediately. They worked meticulously, careful not to track microorganisms by judiciously using shoe covers, cleaned and disinfected each item removed from room and thoroughly washed and disinfected the floors. Beyond grateful! Derek and Chris took the sting out of a horrible experience. I whole heartedly recommend Blackhill Restoration without reservation.

I heard really good things about Blackhill Restoration, and decided to give them a try when I had a water damage issue in my home. Everyone that contacted me from Blackhill Restoration was very prompt, courteous, and professional. They also follow up very well. This kind of customer service is a reflection on the company as a whole. They made an unpleasant experience, from the water damage we sustained, as pleasant as can be. Blackhill was such a blessing to our family in a trying time after receiving storm damage to our home. They were quick to communicate with us and our insurance, were always considerate of our family and space when they were in our home and worked with diligence and care to resolve our problem thoroughly and quickly! We were amazed - and comforted - when Brandon, the Blackhill Restoration project lead, rang our doorbell less than two hours after our initial call to our insurance company. When we discovered the water damage at 2 AM we were exhausted after a week's travel and overwhelmed by the damage. Brandin thoroughly assessed all visible damage and verified that water to the house was shut off. He also arranged for a plumber who arrived soon to cap pipes so we could have water to the rest of our house. Brandon and Joseph, the alternate lead, coordinated with each other and us for seamless support. When more extensive damage was discovered, they did a great job of minimizing the destruction while ensuring all moisture was removed. Brandon and Joseph kept us informed, worked closely with the insurance adjuster, and met with an estimator from a potential rebuild contractor.

All members of the Blackhill team were professional, polite, and friendly. They took care to keep our house as clean as possible and not cause damage. When additional water damage was discovered, the leads thoroughly discussed the situation and options with us and the insurance company. We were comfortable that they were focused on our safety and were our advocate in the discussions. We very strongly recommend Blackhill Restoration.

Blackhill took care of my mom’s home after an electrical fire. The took care of everything from start to finish. Moved everything out and carefully labeled and stored until the remodel was complete. Would recommend their services to anyone asking.

I called for an estimate because a pipe burst in my garage and I need to file a claim. I explained that I was able to get the water off before it flooded the house. The rep said that they are swamped and focusing on houses that are actually flooded and he can get me on schedule next week. I said okay what is the soonest. He said it is going to be a while, like that was an answer. So basically if you are not top on their priority list, they don't care. I'm over here without water. I was willing to wait but to not even lock in a date was not professional nor empathetic to my situation.

Needless to say when my insurance company does cut my check, it won't go to this company
