Erika beautifully takes care of everything.

Was not happy with my interactions with the owner. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

This company is so unorganized I’m not surprised their “records” are incomplete.

I had my living room remodeled. They picked interesting tasteful items of good quality. Only 1 piece I had issues with and they facilitated the return and replacement.

We have worked with Ayca from By Design Interiors and her professionalism, attention to detail, responsiveness, and her willingness to listen to all of our needs makes her shine above the rest!

The owner and designers at By Design Interiors are professional, smart designers with construction experience. This is invaluable when it comes to design and understanding what will work in a given space. They helped me avoid several mistakes I would have made on my own in my kitchen and bath remodel.

Erika Barzack is the best! She has such a fresh perspective! I always felt like she listened and learned our style while also helping us to consider new things we might have otherwise shied away from. We're almost done with our project and I'll miss working with her!

Unfortunately we were not happy with the results of our investment with this design firm. We paid for an initial 10 hour retainer, and expressed clearly our priorities of expectations and needs. We didn’t receive one tenth of what was expressed and nothing provided was anything near our taste. We were given mostly pictures from Pinterest , that I had found on my own as well, and pictures from other projects that were obviously previously gathered. After reviewing the invoice of paid time it was well aware there was a lot of padding into pricing, 30 minutes went into a floor sample that was neither asked for nor provided in person. We have worked with numerous designers commercially for business and this was no where near the expectations or delivery we are use to. The designers are very warm and friendly but the product itself was severely lacking. We chose to start from scratch with a new designer and not continue with this one.

Ayca is a very talented designer that listens to her clients, takes professional, constructive criticism and offers new and innovative ideas to your design project. I would absolutely recommend Ayca for your design needs whether it be residential or commercial.

She designed an absolutely picture perfect restaurant me for that helped me secure wealthy investors. In addition, her design was so good that no changes will need to be made if we decide to franchise. That’s one heck of a feat. THANK YOU AYCA!!!!

Erika at By Design Interiors did a fabulous job in overseeing all aspects of our new home build. She coordinated all aspects of the "decorative" part of the construction including floor selection and design, fixtures, window treatments, paint, countertops, backsplash, built-ins, fireplaces, even doorknobs! Additionally she drew model rooms incorporating our existing furniture and artwork and worked with us to purchase coordinated new furniture & accessories where needed. This was a 2 year project where the design results exceeded our expectations and also came in on or under budget. Our home is a "showplace" that is both comfortable and elegant. We highly recommend By Design Interiors.

Ayca is an incredible interior designer with impeccable style and taste! She is the consummate professional who accommodated my desire to incorporate my antiques with a modern/transitional decor. She works tirelessly and I truly appreciate having an experienced professional who is knowledgeable not only about the major design decisions, but also the minor ones we might not have taken the time to consider. We have been working with Ayca for over a year. We first started talking with her when we were about to buy a new house and she was going to help us decorate. Then our home flooded in Harvey and our project became much bigger. She referred is to our amazing contractor, and various other people and helped us every step of the way. We had a wonderful experience working with Ayca on several selections for our new home. Ayca is technically gifted, has incredible style and is a master of solving design challenges. We had a few last minute on site issues that arose during the project which can be very stressful. Ayca always found the perfect solution which actually enhanced the overall aesthetic. She is also extremely versatile in her design approach which is evident in the extensive portfolio that she has built. Her suggestions were always elegant, timeless, and unique. I would recommend Ayca without any reservation! She is an absolute star!!

My wife and I were building a new house in The Woodlands. We both agreed that design is not one of our strengths. We had interviewed several designers and design firms. Throughout this interview process By Design and Ashton kept coming out on top of the design firms.

I have always heard the design stories that accompany building a house. We were not sure what we would be getting into over the next 12 months, especially as we were still in Dallas through the whole build process. Let me tell you, Ashton made the whole process as easy as it could be.

First off, Ashton is as easy to get along with as anybody I have ever met. Ashton listened to what we had to say about where we thought the house should go in terms of our likes and dislikes. Sure we had plenty of questions and probably a few bad design ideas, but Ashton explained how she saw things, and her philosophy of our house. It was clear that this was not her first rodeo.

Ashton worked seamlessly with our builder, Flair. She had all of the timelines scheduled out over the course of the build. We scheduled days that we could come down from Dallas and make all of our selections. We were dreading the first selection meeting, but it was a breeze. We went from item to item and made our choices without any problems. Had Ashton not been there, we would probably still be making choices today.

Fast forward to 11 months in the project. This is where the rubber met the road. Sure we had made all of the choices, but how would they look together was the question. It was beyond fantastic. We did not regret one fixture, drawer pull, color of flooring, quartz pattern or anything in the house. It all works so well together. From where the light switches and outlets went, to the grout color, Ashton, helped in making the choice.

There was never a time that Ashton was too busy to talk about something. As we were not there, she would go to the house and make sure it was done correctly. As well if you want value, By Design is priced very fairly. In fact we were amazed at the quantity of time we received during this project.

We have been in our house now for close to 6 months. I cannot tell you how much we love it. I truly believe that without Ashton and By Design the house would not have come out as well as it did. Thank you Ashton and By Design.

We have a lot of experience using designers on several houses over the years. Our experience with Jessica of By Design Interiors is by far been our best experience. She is wonderful to deal with, she has provided incredible advice, she has listened to our wants and needs, and has been our partner through the entire process. I could not recommend her more we would never use anyone else
