They are honest and a great company we had a company tell us we needed s new unit for 15ooo slocumcame out and made a minor repair. We did not need a New unit. They are reliable and you will be pleased with there service

Slocum Heating & Air was AMAZING! I called at 8:30am on a Wednesday, and Jamie was at my door at 9:30am. We ended up having to replace the entire AC unit. Jamie and Bobby were back at our house by 12:30pm with a brand new unit (and slab, since our other one was cracked) and had the job completed by 2:30pm. They were extremely thorough and professional. Jamie didn't accept payment that day, but just wanted to make sure that we had cool air. We were not invoiced until the following Monday as to make sure that everything was working to our satisfaction! WOW!! We will use them over and over again...and you should too! ;-)

I WILL NEVER USE ANOTHER COMPANY!!! Hands down, Slocum is the best of the best. After calling numerous places for quick estimates, the owner of Slocum was at my house within 30 minutes and total replacement done within a few days. His team was so kind and professional and they cared more about getting me up and running than collecting the money. I am so thankful to God to have found Slocum and highly recommend them to everyone that needs repairs/replacements/maintenance.

I had a great experience with Slocum AC today. They were recommended by a friend of mine at Creech Plumbing. Austin was our service tech and we appreciate how thorough and friendly he was. Look forward to having Slocum out in the Fall.

I realized I had an A/C problem when I went to change the filter and it was wet. I called Slocum on recommendation of my son and Courtney had someone scheduled for today. They contacted me prior to them coming. Austin arrived and was super nice He fixed the issue right away. Austin checked rest of unit and didn't find anything else. He explained the issue to me and what I needed to do and look out for. Great experience

When I called, they were able to get us on their books for that afternoon. The girl on the phone was very friendly and helpful. The tech showed up at the very beginning of the appointment window. He was polite, friendly, and worked quickly. All in all, 10/10 would recommend Slocum!

We called Slocum to check our A/C unit before the summer heat. They scheduled an appointment right away. Justin texted us before he arrived at our home. He was very pleasant and explained everything he was checking. He did a great job getting our A/C ready for another Texas summer. We were so pleased that we went ahead and scheduled for him to come back this Fall to check our furnace for winter. We highly recommend Slocum Heating and Air.

Austin came out to perform our annual check up before winter. Very thorough on testing the complete system and courteous on all communication. We have a contract for summer and winter check ups with Slocum and it has prevented any unforseen breakdowns. They are great to work with and stand behind their work. It's a pleasure to be associated with them.

Completely amazing. My A/C went out and I was having a horrible time with my home warranty people. I asked my neighbor about James and in less than 15 minutes he had a tech to my home. Extremely kind and professional. Slocum heating and air will always have my family as a customer.

We moved to Texas in 2015, and bought a house that had three AC units, one for upstairs and two for down. They all worked okay until about the second year and we started having problems with the upstairs unit which was the oldest of all the units. So, we like so many people coming to the area was using the big-name company in town. We became discouraged with them because every time we called to have a unit serviced there was an issue requiring a specialty part which they just happened to have with them. After a while we got tired of spending a lot of money on the “little” repairs, which ultimately led to the unit being replaced.

Shortly after that some friends of ours had mentioned Slocum, so we gave them a try and were pleasantly surprised by the service we received, and the honesty and integrity in which their employees had. We thought this is great we finally have a company we can trust and believe in.

After a few years, the warranty expired, and we began having problems with the new unit. Parts kept going out and repair cost started adding up. James Slocum’s son, Jamie, was over and we discussed getting a new unit, but we were concerned about the price. Jamie said they would see what they could do about taking the money we recently spent on the unit and try to find a way to take it off a new unit.
When James called to give us the cost of a new unit, we were not prepared to hear that they have appreciated and valued our business over the years, didn’t want to lose us as a customer, and decided to give us the new AC unit. What a blessing, they were going to replace it for free.

We are so happy with Slocum; we have been recommending them to all our friends. So, if you are thinking about using somebody in town with a big fleet of vehicles painted red, white and blue forget about it. Use Slocum. They are more honest, and they care about what they do, and they care about you, their customer.

Slocum has always been there to help my family with HVAC repairs and now maintenance. Due to out of town work schedules, I am not at home as much and can trust Mr. Slocum to take care of my family as he has done many times in the past. Great, honest, and fair business. A+

Slocum's Heating and Air is the place you need to go, if you want to deal with a very honest and qualified A/C Installer or Repair Tech. We have dealt with this company for 12 years now. We would not even consider using anyone else. They are the best in the west.James Slocum is a very nice gentleman and a very honest man. He is the man I go to because I know he is the man I can trust. He is a great guy with a great company.
