We had Ted do our landscaping for our front yard which was previously very unappealing and lacked life. His team transformed it so well with the right trees and shrubs, and it looks neat as pin now. The best part - they understand the type of soil and which plants would thrive in them. We would definitely recommend him and his team!

Had to have my front beds redone from what the builder put in because it didn’t survive the last 2 extreme cold periods - some was dead or dying, some were put too close together and some were just wrong. But it’s what you get from the builder.

Ted came out and looked over the area. He wanted to make sure he understood what I wanted. He made some suggestions for plants, a couple I vetoed because I knew I wouldn’t put in the necessary work. He found something else to replace the vetoed things. Wrote it up with a proposal of where everything was going. I probably bothered him a little too much but I wanted to make sure I understood what was going where and how it was going to be installed. He put up with my emails without complaint; never making me feel it was too much.

On the day, he and the crew came out and started. It was back breaking work to remove all the rock and get the mess of dead/dying plants out. The first day they finished up around 3pm which I was glad - it allowed me to pick up puppy from daycare. They came back the second day and finished the job. I was out front pulling weeds and the crew came along behind me picking up the weeds I pulled. They cleaned the area as best as they could, so no big clumps of dirt to avoid. When they finished I had a very good looking front from what they installed and trimmed.

I would highly recommend them if your looking for outdoor work to be done.

Ted and his crew at Focal Point Landscaping replaced our front lawn and landscaping. Ted listened to our requests and took into account the space, sunlight, and function of our yard to create a low-maintenance, healthy-looking, and green front yard. He took the time to explain his recommendations, give us options, and review what we need to do to maintain it. The crew was quick while being meticulous with their work. Ted even helped trouble-shoot some sprinkler issues we were having. We will use them again when we get ready to tackle the back yard!
