Small Appliance reviews in Centerville, Utah

I did not pick this company, my home warranty did. What a JOKE. They ordered a part, 5 days later they were supposed to install it and instead call me to tell me it's cracked and they have to re-order it and will be up in a week. They only go to Park City (where I live) 2 days a week and refused to make an exception, not to mention completely dropped the ball by not checking the part when it arrived instead of 5 days later when it was supposed to be installed. Their office manager and schedulers were less than helpful "nothing they can do". DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you don't mind being without your appliance for a month.

Avoid this company! We had to use them through our home warranty company to repair our dishwasher. They didn’t call before they came like they said they would, didn’t even say they were from they company when I answered the door and worst they let things worse than they were before they came. After “fixing” the dishwasher they forgot to plug some hoses back in before turning on the water and it caused water damage. We took pictures and contacted them about compensation for damages. They said they’d look into it but now they won’t return our phone calls or emails.

Home warranty sent them to fix my dryer, Took them 2 months to get the correct parts. Once they finally got them, they set up an appointment between 1-5, I had to take the day off work to be there for the appointment. They didn’t even show up until after 5:30. As they were fixing other parts they said they accidentally broke the ignitor on my dryer. He said he would come out the next day (Saturday) and fix it but we would need to pay for the part he broke.
Saturday I asked for a timeframe on when they would show up and fix the part and we were told they couldn’t do it because they were partying the night before but they would be back Monday.
Today is Monday, the part is still not fixed, when I asked for a timeframe on when it would be done they told me they were not sure because it was an “odd” day.
I have renters moving into the house tomorrow and there is currently a torn apart dryer in the middle of my floor and no timeline on when it will be fixed.
I am also still confused as to why I need to pay for a part they admitted they broke. -
Don't waste your money or time. All they do is lie. The reviews say everything. This is the worst company ever. It took several phone calls to speak with the owner, Roger because he just stepped out, he will call you back in an hour, he went on vacation, he is out sick. So after they stole my part and no refund, I am still out $400 and my refrigerator still does not work. So I called Samsung and I was able to get a small refund.

I know when people are frustrated they jump online and rant and rave and I totally get it. Being in the property management business I work with a lot of repair companies and have had my fair share of frustrations. TA was contracted through an extended warranty on a Samsung fridge 18 months ago for me and not only diagnosed the issue, he also had a solution to an ice problem that the freezer was having, ordered both parts and fixed it on the return appointment for the repair.. Was polite, professional and informative about what he was doing..
April 2022 They are back for another issue that we had the diagnostic appointment, and I wasted the techs time when I missed his call and left waiting until he had to go to another appointment. He had showed up about 10 minutes before his scheduled window, so props for being prompt..and they were 100% polite in rescheduling for the next day.. So thumbs up,, I have had 2 very good experience with this company with 2 different techs. -
Sears Home warranty uses them. My appointment was between 1-5. The Tech never called or texted to keep me informed on his progress. I called your number and low and behold it was ALWAYS busy. From your reviews it's hard to believe that your THAT busy. What is going on? I would have given ZERO,

Home warranty contract with National Service Alliance. Then NSA sent Total Appliance Service to fix my refrigerator came out didn't even have the right tools instead just look and said parts need to order. So wasted another time of my day off. Take another time off from work when parts came in and installed and of course it make it worse and wasted all my food in the freezer because nothing is working. Scheduled another appointment to come out on 06/03/2020 from 2-6pm but didn't showed up. Re-schedule again for 06/06/2020 between 9am-1pm showed up but again no right tools and equipment to be able to fix the problem. This is the only time the technician test the temperature of my refrigerator were in fact the very first time when he came out should do the test to figure out what was the problem. Honestly 3rd time coming out nothing is working. Now trying to re scheduled and sending another guy out again to do the see if the problem can fix. Not a reliable company. I highly dont recommend. Should not even get 1 star at all.

Landmark Warranty sent this company out to repair my refrigerator. One technician was sent out 3 times and replaced a thermostat, condenser and fan on 3 different occasions and it still did not fix the problem. On one occasion, the tech was even 5 hours late. Then a senior tech was sent out the 4th time and diagnosed the problem as a faulty compressor and told me Landmark will not replace the compressor. This company is a joke. They do not know what they are doing. In the end, it cost me more money to take time off of work to wait for these clowns! Run away as fast as you can from this company!

Be careful, this company is a total scam.We called the warranty company for a service in our appliances. They assigned Total appliance. The "owner" of this company came to my house (after missing 2 appointments) and say:"I have a washer for delivery". He didn't even know what planet he was on. Long story short, I end it up paying $90 dollars for showing up to a guy who had not idea what he was doing, said that he needed to order some parts and never even called back. We called back the warranty company to find out the parts he requested were discontinued, according to him. It was a surprised since we have wolf appliance which are very reliable. We called subzero, purchase the parts and pay to install them with another company. Total appliance took my money and did nothing. Lazy, irresponsible, unreliable, liars...

Worst customer service. The manufacturer referred us to this company to fix our dishwasher. We were informed everything would be covered under a warranty. No invoice or any contract was provided to us about parts or labor. Technician came 2 times to fix it because the first time he had the wrong part. He apparently fixed it today but the problem still persists. After the tech left the sales agent called and requested we pay $212 for the service. We explained that we were initially told that all was going to be covered. Total bait and switch tactics. Very unethical business practices. Avoid this company at all cost.

They have WASTED my time twice this week. I have an extended warranty with Lowes. This outfit cancelled my scheduled appointment after THEY called the wrong number. eventually got the right one and then couldn’t even leave a message or call back number. just dropped me. 0 customer service.
did they make it right when confronted? nope
would fix it the scheduled day, committed to the following weekend (saturday) never called, never showed up
they have officially failed twice. i’m calling Lowes and demanding another warranty service provider helps me.
So i still have a bad major appliance and they are no where to be found. how long do you want to live “at their mercy”? No thanks. -
Poor customer service! My repair was contracted out by Lowe's. The repair guy diagnosed the problem, told me Lowe's would cover the parts, but not the labor. When he came back with the parts, he told me that Lowe's had covered everything, parts and labor and that Lowe's had already paid them. I get a call from Total appliance service 3 weeks later saying I owe the entire repair bill. No one could tell me where they went wrong telling me it was covered, she wouldn't let me speak to a manager, she was very ornery, rude, ghetto & unprofessional. I kept trying to ask why I should have to pay when they told me Lowe's had already paid them, she told me she she would place me on hold so I can complain to no one. I will never use this company ever again even if Lowe's contracts it out. Ask for a different company.

Runaway from this company as fast as you can. David came to fix our ice and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. They replaced a valve that didn't fix the issue. They also replaced to auger that sits under our ice maker. After replacing the part, the ice bucket wouldn't sit flush with our fridge. I called and they told me as long as the ice maker is producing ice then it's not there problem and to get a hold of my warranty company. I called our warranty company and they said it sounds like a faulty part or a bad install and that it's up to the company to fix it.
After complaining to management, David reluctantly came out and tried to fix it again. The whole time he was rude and complaining about how he shouldn't even be fixing it for us. He spent about 10 minutes trying to fix it and left without it being fixed.
Pros
1. On time to appointments
Cons
1. David was super rude and doesn't take the time to figure out what's going on with the problem. Very impatient.
2. Same initial issues exist. Fridge was never repaired correctly
3. Company won't fix their mistakes. Blames the issue on Whirlpool or Home Warranty company.
If you need a band-aid job then this is the company for you. Look at all there other reviews. They do not stand behind there work and will find any reason to blame it on everyone else.
Caused more issues then fixed. See my attached video of the bucket not sitting correctly after they replaced the auger under it. We ended up buying a new fridge since the ice-maker was not usable anymore. -
Where to start... please do yourself a favor and if your warranty company states that this company will be used do what you can do to get a different company or be ready to wait and call them continuously so that they can do the simplest of tasks like filling a report. I had to call my warranty company so that they could call the company multiple times and then called the company as well to get them to file a simple report saying my appliance was not repairable. This place can’t keep their technicians accountable and the supervisions obviously can’t do their job either. Am happy that at least I will never have to deal with them again

Blames customers and frequently missed appointments. - They looked at, but never fixed our dryer. They never scheduled a follow up to install working parts so I rescheduled a follow up on December 23 -they never showed; Again rescheduled on December 26 they never showed again! They blame Best Buy; I talked to Total Appliance directly about finishing the repair, and as usual they lied that they would come on Jan 3; On Jan 3 I called and Talked with Total Appliance directly They told me I had a cash out offer that I did not accept from Best Buy so as expected, and as usual - no repairs are happening from this company! They refused to function as a service company! All in all, after months without a working dryer, I was forced into accepting a replacement from Best Buy.

I'd give them zero stars if I could. These guys are scammers and lie right way too much, and never show up on time. They can't to my house twice and late by 3 hours both times. They tell you one thing to your face and something completely different to the warranty company. The warranty company declined my repair. They don't care about the customer at all, all they want to do is make profit for the warranty company. If the warranty company sends these guys to your house, I'd recommend changing to a different repairman. I wouldn't even let them near my house. I definitely wouldn't call them directly either. Worst Service Ever and the worst repair company in Utah.

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. I have a broke dryer and dishwasher. My Home Warranty company sent them and they had a 14 year old show up, he had no clue what he was doing and kept calling the main office for answers. He kept telling me my appliances work even though they clearly do not. He went ahead and filed a report with the warranty and they called me saying the technician reported everything is working. Beyond absurdity. A complete waste of my time and I’m going to switch warranty companies. Save yourself some time and cancel if this company reaches out!

I had Total Appliance Service Inc. Assigned though my home warranty for my water heater. I had read these reviews and was a bit nervous to have them at my home. The initial diagnosis took a little longer than I had hoped for. I called the office and the girl explained she wanted a properly qualified tech to come and that was the soonest day. I accepted. They arrived on time as scheduled. The tech Jason, put booties on the make sure as to not track anything on my floors. He did his diagnosis and discovered a leak, advising I needed a new water heater. This was a Friday late afternoon. He explained he needed to get authorization from the warranty company be reassured me they had the water heater in stock and would be able to replace it the following week. That Monday the warranty company advised me of the portion of out of pocket expenses that would be expected. I questioned some so I called Total Appliance Services. The individuals that could provide me answers were in a meeting but I was promised a call back before the end of the day. Less than an hour later the OWNER called and we when over all the expenses and made adjustments as needed. The next day they showed up and replaced my water heater. He was about 30 minutes outside of his time framed but did call and provide clear expectations.

This company was assigned through the home warranty. Dishwasher kept tripping the breaker 20 minutes into the cycle. Repairman never tested it, only said it needed a new jet pump. Jet pump was installed a week later. However, the problem persisted. Two weeks after installation, the jet pump had sagged off its support bracket causing a leak and damaging my basement ceiling. I then had to call my warranty service back who decided to send out the same person who didn’t know what he was doing. He ran the test cycle for 2 minutes and said the dishwasher was fine even though it keeps tripping the breaker. Not sure how that’s possible since it trips the breaker on 3 separate outlets connected to different breakers. However, because he did not know what he was doing, my warranty provider made me hire an electrician just to confirm there was not an electrical issue with the house. I called the electrician who confirmed there is no electrical issue with the house and that dishwasher is the problem. So now I’m having to work with the warranty provider to hopefully send a different company out that’s competent. If this company is assigned to you, demand a different company. On the positive side, the company was on time and easy to reach
