We have had Barry out a few times to work on some different projects and he was great to work with. He’s very responsive and knowledgeable. He helped us hook up our doorbell, put in a ceiling fan, install an EV charger outlet and he even installed a new control panel so we could pull more power from the city. I’d highly recommend him for projects large and small

Black Mountain is second to none! I needed some same-day assistance and called around to 10 different places that were all booked out for weeks. I called Black Mtn and they were busy, but asked me to text some pictures of what was going on. After I did, they sent me diagram drawings overlaid on the pictures -- highlighting exactly what needed to go where. With a few exchanges and pictures back and forth, we got everything working in no time! Can't thank them again for making things easy and walking me through it all!

I own a commercial building in American Fork, but live out of state. My tenant contacted me 6 PM on a Saturday about a burning smell coming from the electric panel in the door feeling super hot to the touch. He'd already called another company - - - - one of those plumbing heating and air type places-- who had quoted $2500 to replace both electrical panels and said it needed to be done right now, or power would need to stay off until it could be done. Obviously not a good suituation for a business that needs to be open! In my experience I'd rather work with an independent electrician, so I did a quick search and found Barry with Black Mountain Electric. Barry answered the phone himself, which is to me a good sign. You know sometimes when you call a contractor and you can just tell over the phone that
they're a Stand-up-Guy? That was Barry. When I asked if he could help (Even though it was Saturday evening) he said "what the heck why not?" and no exaggeration he was there with my tenant within 30 minutes, and had the problem fixed within the hour to the tune of only $320 (Single pinched wire caused breaker to overheat).
Barry will definitely be my go to electrician for my Utah property. And those panels are indeed very old, So while he's fixed the immediate problem I've decided I will schedule him soon to do a full upgrade on both panels.

We had him come add to our panel, give us several new outlets, troubleshoot an issue with a GFCI, and install new electrical for a room that didn’t have a ceiling fan/light previously. Basically we hit him with everything, and he got it all done quickly!

Barry did amazing work. Extremely professional and great at his job. He installed our sauna heater. I would definitely reach out to him for future work. If you are looking for an electrician, you will be happy you went with Barry at Black Mountain Electric.

In order to stay in code, he had to move the location of my brand new, updated electric panel. He also figured out what happened in my front room and found the weirdly placed wire that was the problem. I was worried that we would have to knock out a wall to find the culprit, but Barry wouldn’t give up and kept looking. He found it, fixed it and now my whole front room works. I actually clapped and cheered!! lol

So great! We lost electricity in half our house. Barry stopped by on a weekend and made a plan. After about 2 days the heater a refrigerator we unsustainable. He rushed an hour-and-a-half out of his way with a temporary solution, having gotten the city on board. As he was poking around, he found his temporary solution WAS the solution. He could have lied and said we still needed to more expensive fix immediately, but he saved me so much stress and has given me time to save up for a bigger project. For said project, I will DEFINITELY be going to Barry.

Cameron and Cody were very personable and great workers! They installed recessed lighting in our front room and basement and were very quick and professional. They gave us useful advice and added a few tips that really added to our lighting design.
Their prices were actually lower than the other three companies we had give us a bid. They will be our first and only call next time we need good electricians. We also found them to be very trustworthy. If they're not Gephardt approved yet, they should be!

We had 2 light fixtures installed two days ago. We have used Any and All in the past. Quick, friendly, efficient and cleaned up the boxes when he left. Reasonable price.

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would... We needed a wall with wiring removed for a kitchen remodel. Cameron came out and had the job done in a couple of hours... he even went above and beyond and pulled some of the studs out for us. The pricing was fair and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend these guys to anyone! We will be using him for all of our electrical needs from now on!!! 10 stars!!

When I was looking for an electrician to perform work, I went strictly off of previous reviews and fortunately for me, I made the right decision. John came out right away after I called for an estimate and I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and the great price he gave me for the work. He worked for two days, very professional and his communication was great. The work was above and beyond what we expected. I now have him in my phone as the electrician I will be using for anything else I need. Would highly recommend John and ask for him personally.

We had Dustin come out and give us an estimate on a garage heater installation. (It needed special wiring.) He gave us a reasonable quote and went a step further to do the work right then! The project ended up being more of a "job" and they never complained. They just got it done and had awesome attitudes. I should have called them a long time ago! I am definitely saving Dustin's number for any future electrical needs our home has. Thanks for being awesome!

We had them install can lights in our kitchen and living room last year. Dustin was so great to work with, we decided to have the same company come back install bathroom fans and more can lights, and replace+upgrade outlets this week. Since this home has never had fans, ducts and vents had to be installed as well, which was a bit tricky because of how my house is built. Kade was awesome to work with from beginning to end. He knows what he's doing and supervises his team well. There were 2-4 there at a time which made everything go quickly and smoothly-- like a well- oiled machine. They were able to accommodate some last minute additional requests as well. Vacuuming and clean-up was way better than I would ever expect. Everyone from the office to the apprentice was really kind and respectful. I can be grumpy in the morning on not enough sleep (haha ) and they put me in a better mood... This company is really busy but the estimate happened quickly, as well as adjustments made along the way. Pricing was very reasonable. Couldn't be more pleased!
