We had an amazing experience with Northern Electric installing our Tesla charger. Matt was awesome, knowledgeable, fast, and friendly. He walked us through the process every step if the way. We will definitely use Northern for our future electrical needs, and would highly recommend them.

Got our EV charger installed in our garage by Matt and another gentleman but I cannot remember his name. Anyway, they were both really professional and very nice. They did an amazing & clean job. They were very reasonably priced as well.

Some minor communication issues with the scheduling but great work, very quick and super friendly.

Kevin was very knowledgeable and spoke of various ways to remedy my electrical problems. And was very reasonable in price Matthew came out and did a wonderful job. We had a unique job so they quoted time and material. They told us it would be 2 guys for 2 and a half days.
They got it wrapped up in one.
They under promised and over delivered. A rarity

I had a wonderful experience with Northern Electric Company. My outlet that I found out during the visit I had plugged a heater that needed it's own circuit into, had burned out on Sunday. I made an online request and had a response Monday and an appointment by Tuesday. Matthew the electrician for this service came out and saw the outlet and diagnosed quickly that I had been using an appliance not rated for the outlet. He was very kind and not condescending about it, but taught me my mistake and how lucky I was to not have more damage. He ended up replacing two outlets for me and only charged me for their reasonable service call rate. I will definitely be using them again for some projects in the future that require an electricians expertise.

Matt was super friendly and knowledgeable, he got my Tesla charger installed in a couple of hours despite my weird electrical situation. I would nightly recommend this company to my friends.

Wonderful service by Bruce who was knowledgeable, skilled and patient with all my questions. I was able to get someone to come out the same day that I called. From the person who took my call to Brice the repair guy, I say thank you for the superior customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Fantastic work by a very nice electrician!

He looked at what I thought was the issue, addressed that but there was still something else. He then quickly assessed the whole circuit and found that a ground had drifted towards the circuit wiring. He addressed that and the system is working perfectly!

Matt came up with the best idea out of all the companies we brought out to move our service. Brice did great work on our house. He is very skilled and knows a lot. We did have a bit of an unfortunate miss communication, but Kevin was very responsive and I appreciate how he handled the situation. They are good people and I hope to use them in the future.

When I contacted Northern Electric Company (NEC of Salt Lake City) General Manager, Mr. Kevin Paulsen, he stated (in writing): ‘My priority is to keep my guys working and be fair to the customer so everyone walks away from the job happy.’

He lived up to that with this more-than-satisfied client.

I had half dozen outdoor and indoor lighting fixtures in need of repair or replacement. Within 48-hours of contacting Mr. Paulsen, he had the personable and efficient Mr. Matt Haitt with his ~two decades of electrical experience at my door (not just on time, but early!) ready to get to work. Just over two hours later Matt accomplished all tasks beyond my expectations (including clearly explaining everything to me as he swiftly completed the work) and for a price about a third that submitted by a larger corporate competitor! Professionals like Matt and Kevin are truly appreciated by this old senior and career military pilot. I will not hesitate to contact them again next time I want quality electrical work accomplished. Well done.

What an amazingly pleasant experience from beginning to end! Matt helped me with all my questions and didn’t make me feel stupid for my lack of knowledge. I had a quote from another electrician for $26-39k and was so stressed because I could not afford that. He told me I didn’t need all of that and gave me a reasonable quote and only for what I needed.

They were able to come out the next day and arrived early! I couldn’t believe it. Both of the men that worked on my home were so polite and helpful. They informed me of any small issues that came up immediately, which I appreciated! They finished earlier than expected and my total was $900 less than I was quoted- even better. Working with Matt was great! I am a new homeowner and had some concerns about things that the home inspector and another electrician had mentioned. Matt came out for a free evaluation and took time to explain everything he was seeing so I could understand my home setup better. He took me on a whole tour of my system and explained things I should watch out for, vs. things that were not as concerning as my anxiety led me to believe. Really appreciate the time and care he took to help me understand my home better. Will absolutely work with Matt & NEC for all of my future needs!

I had Matt come out for an estimate and Brice and Carter to do the work. The estimate was lower than two other large electricians in the valley and I couldn't be more happy with the work done. I had my breaker box replaced, kitchen outlets GFI protected and a few other small projects. I would 100% use them again and highly recommend their service.

Our technician arrived promptly on schedule. He was professional and courteous, and quickly assessed and resolved our issue. He didn't try to up-sell additional services. He pointed out a potential issue that could have led to a fire, and advised us as to why.

Matt installed a Tesla charger for me. Excellent service, easy quote and they came in under budget which is always appreciated. My experience was really good. Matt was genuine, honest and very knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again in the future.
