My wife and I were anxious about taking on our renovation because we aren't handy people, but Solid was there for us from the beginning and guided us through an amazing experience. The attention to detail regarding budget (came under!), quality (love it!), attention to detail, communication (constant texts and weekly photos!), and even vibe was surprising in a good way. We feel lucky to have chosen them and would do so again in a heartbeat!

We loved working with Solid Renovation. The owners David and Jer were wonderful to work with. They were very clear and responsive to questions throughout the project and excited to help us workshop ideas and help us understand how much different options would cost. Once the renovation got going, our project manager Jon was amazing. He was meticulously detailed, organized, and communicative and had a good grasp of what we wanted and would be happy with, most of the time noticing details we wouldn’t be like and problems before us. He (and Kenidi when she joined the project) were always on board for whatever crazy idea we had and ready to jump in and problem solve when needed (and pulling in Jer’s expertise when needed). The end product turned out amazing. The craftsmanship and attention to detail at all phases, but especially during all the finishing touches really brought our home to another level.
I wouldn’t have wanted to go through this renovation with anyone else and definitely recommend them to anyone who mentions even thinking about doing any work and would definitely recommend them to anyone reading this review.

I will always and have already recommended Solid Renovation to others. It is rare to find a Contractor that is on time and on budget and as responsive as Solid Renovation was for us. Consistent communication was key during our project and every effort was made to make sure we were informed and up to date on everything going on. The end product was better than what we imagined and we really appreciated the advice along the way. We had a basement leak (that actually had nothing to do with the work they did) and the team was responsive on the weekend and late at night to help us find a fix. They went above and beyond customer service. While Solid is not a budget contractor they are worth every penny. I would say I would use them again, but we will never want to move because they did such a great job!

After having four contractors give me a bid and not showing up to do the job I gave it one more try. Not only did George and Ricardo do an excellent job at a more than fair price they were professional and finished the job in two days. I would highly recommend Eagle Plastering to anyone and I will be using them again in the spring.

Josh managed my entire house remodel project and stayed on schedule and budget. He is excellent. He has great subs who do excellent work.

We had an excellent experience with Johnston construction on a complex bathroom renovation. Josh's expertise was clear from the start, and he handled custom details like moving plumbing and electrical, challenging tile work and cabinetry with precision and care.
His communication was outstanding. Josh kept us informed throughout the project and was always responsive and transparent. We especially appreciated his attentiveness, making sure every detail matched our vision.

Josh is a true professional. The project I hired him for was the first time I hired a general contractor and I was very nervous about putting my home and money in the hands of someone I didn't know. However, after meeting Josh during his estimate visit, I felt very comfortable working with him unlike how I felt with other GCs I met. He is very knowledgeable about the various trades required for the project and is not afraid to call in his subs for additional feedback if he thinks it will help with design decisions.
Josh's attention to detail is remarkable. He was able to point out things I would have never caught or known to look for.
Communicating with Josh was easy. Most conversations happened through text message but we also communicated through phone or email as needed.
When it comes to the initial project cost estimate, Johnston Construction LLC was on par with 3 other GCs I received quotes from. Josh was very honest about any cost impacts as a result of any changes I requested.
As a general contractor, Josh has a great crew of subcontractors. Every subcontractor was punctual and professional.
