A-1 is amazing! Their response time was phenomenal! They were professional and went out of their way to remedy a warranty situation in my behalf. They were courteous and honest and I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

We woke up on a freezing Friday morning and our furnace had stopped. I called our regular HVAC service manager who said that the earliest that they could come was Sunday afternoon and there would be an extra charge for a weekend call. I googled furnace repair and chose A-1 Heating & Cooling and I'm glad I did. They were able to come Friday afternoon right on time, replaced a failed part from their onsite inventory and fixed our problem!
Two professionals who couldn't have been any nicer, told me to call them 24/7 if we had any more problems.
Trust them, they're great!

A-1 Heating and Cooling impressed us with their professionalism and reasonable pricing a few months ago when our furnace stopped working. I emailed them through their website at 1 AM last night when it quit again. They responded immediately and offered to come within 30 minutes. When we asked them for an appointment the next day, they made one right them. They were punctual and considerate (masks and foot coverings). We were prepared for bad news and it would have been so easy for them to blame our 15-year-old furnace. Instead, they told us the part they had replaced the first time they came was at fault, replaced it without cost, and even reduced their service fee by about half! We are so very pleased to have found A-1 Heating and Cooling. They are honest and truly value serving their customers well. We will be calling them with any future heating or cooling issues we have.

My furnace was having a roll out issue on the first startup of the season so I called up A1 and they were quickly responsive and timely. When they came out they tested my system and showed me the results to confirm what the issue was. Their pricing was very fair, especially for the time it was (evening).

Although the furnace repeated the issue, they were more than willing to come out and run additional diagnostic where they found another culprit compounding the issue I was having, and they took care of it at no extra cost. For the time they spent and in depth troubleshooting, I think they did fantastic and I would not hesitate to contact them again. Excellent service!

We've had A-1 come out twice now to work on our furnace and AC. They're knowledgeable, honest, and did a great job.

They send a technician to diagnose and fix your problem unlike other companies who send a salesman to convince you to buy new equipment.

A1 was outstanding. They went the extra mile for me today, and did a fantastic job. Very kind, easy to talk with, and helpful. I will continue to use them for any HVAC needs I have, highly recommend.

These guys are great! They were friendly, courteous and clean! They checked out our furnace and made sure it was ready for winter, and even connected some wires for me to be able to install a smart thermostat without running into issues (for no extra cost!) Will definitely use them again!

I am so happy I found A-1 heating and cooling! We had another well known “same-day” company come and look at our furnace that was acting up and they left us with a $1,500 recommended repair. It didn’t feel right so I found A-1 on Thumbtack where they have many many 5 star reviews. I called them a little distraught looking for a second opinion and they said they would be out within an hour to fix our furnace. They had it fixed so fast and it’s working perfectly, oh did I mention they saved us over $1,300?!?!? We didn’t need all the unnecessary components replaced like the other place had recommended. They were so professional, nice and knowledgeable. The other company had to order parts too which would have left my three young children freezing for the next week, they were toasty warm last night all thanks to A-1 heating and cooling. I taped their business card to the inside door of our furnace because if it ever acts up again I know who I’m calling! I would highly recommend this company. Thanks A-1!

The techs arrived on time as promised and did a comprehensive job of testing my Ac unit, which was not cooling the house. They were very helpful in explaining how the system works and what the issue was and shared recommendations to keep the system running fine. This is the second time i am working with them and as always they did a great job. Would definitely recommend for all your hvac needs.

We requested their services as a second opinion to another HVAC company that stated we either needed a new furnace and air conditioner or an $800 fix. A1 let us know that our system (although old) was still functional, and there was no need to replace it at this time. They fixed a backed up drain from the AC and tuned up the furnace for a much lower charge. They also have been following up to ensure that everything has been working well. Great customer service.

A-1 gave me A+ service. They stayed late into the evening diagnosing and fixing my AC issues, answered all of my questions, and were highly professional and honest. Where other companies would have just pushed me to buy an entire new AC unit, A-1 laid out clear alternative options and the risks associated with them, and then let me decide what would be best for my home. They extended the life of my unit for a fraction of the cost of a new unit. I highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough good things about A1. They reaponded quickly and came out on a Saturday and repaired my non-working furnace and were great to take the time to educate me on what the problem was and what they were doing to remedy it! Their pricing is very fair and reasonable and unlike many large firms in this industry they did not try to sell me a new furnace or service programs and other stuff I don't need. They are good, honest and have great pricing. I highly recommend them.

These guys are the real deal!! This is the 2nd time coming out to my home for different situations. The first time they came out was during summer time & our AC gave out on us. They showed up the same day I called & troubleshooted the problem & fixed it. Both gave great advice & didn’t try to pressure me into buying a new unit. Today, I called them because my furnace was not working. They showed up within hours & troubleshooted the problem & fixed it. They are very very thorough when trying to find the problem & making sure that it didn’t cause a bigger problem! These guys are amazing, honest, efficient, & very knowledgeable! These guys are amazing. Not only were they able to get me in on short notice, but they fixed my ac unit and were some of the most professional HVAC technicians I have ever used. There's a 100% chance I will use them for all of my HVAC needs.

I don’t normally like to give my reviews but I like to give these guys a five star review cuz they were honest n they weren’t just about selling me new furnace, I went through 4 companies and they all want to sell me new furnace n weren’t honest about my diagnostic of my furnace. I almost spent about $4600 but instead it only cost me $370 to fix the problem. I just want to give a big thanks to these guys for their incredible service an amazing company with honesty n integrity. I highly recommend this company!

Recently had A-1 come by to look into my furnace/AC unit after very poor experiences with the larger services around SLC making me think I needed to buy a whole new unit. These guys are GREAT. Very kind first off. And they stopped by to resolve my issue when their schedule was already packed. Fair pricing for the service. And most importantly, they resolved my issue with no other BS or trying to upsell. Highly recommend!

Contacted A-1 to get a second opinion because the other Big companies told me I needed a new furnace. After they got done inspecting it they told me that it only needs a part and there is still plenty of life in the part before it goes out. This company will be my go too for any heating and air.
