Mccann Family Air Duct Service is a business i would strongly suggest. In this day and age, it's a gem to find someone who is not only reliable, but also has integrity. I'm a novice homeowner and was facing problems with water gathering under the front of my dryer and a lint trap constantly filled with dog hair and lint. I thought it was either my dryer or a blocked dryer vent, filled with a ton of lint and dog hair, after only a year and a half in my newly constructed home. I reached out to shawn and scheduled a time for him to come and take a look. He was upfront with me about the costs of the service. On the day of the appointment, shawn was punctual, and after hearing my description of the issues, he examined the outside vent and noticed it had been painted over, causing the flap to stick shut. After unjamming the flap, shawn made sure there was no build-up of caked lint or dog hair inside the vent, and also advised me on how often I should get my vents checked and cleaned. At my request, he also inspected my inside return vent in the main living area to see if there was any major dust accumulation. After all this, he didn't even charge me, saying he didn't really have to do any heavy work. He could have easily billed me and claimed the vents were dirty, and I wouldn't have been the wiser. Instead, shawn proved to be completely honest and trustworthy. When I'm ready to get a whole house vent cleaning, I'll definitely give him a call again. I know his prices will be fair and straightforward, and his work will be thorough. North Salt Lake is lucky to have such a service!
