Brent has been great to work with as we landscaped our new home. We contracted with his company to add additional concrete pads to our new home. This was done during the winter time and they did a great job. We would highly recommend Countryside Landscape.

Our company and many of my clients have used Countryside Landscaping. First off, it is rare to find a landscaping company that answers their phone and returns phone calls. Brent is very attentive and responsive. He has a large team to complete landscaping projects, so everything is wrapped up in a timely manner. The quality, service and price is very impressive! I would highly recommend Countryside!

Long over due review. Purchased a newly built home and countryside landscaping/wright landscaping was the landscaper the builder chose for us, since we worked landscaping price in the purchase of My home. I will add we did pay for landscaping, it was not included for free by the builder. My neighbors also got there yard done by them. When we first got a game plan together by Brent he was very communicative and things seemed perfect, once work started by his team it was hard to get ahold of him or responses. From day 1 i told him the grading was not done properly and he said it was, i reached out to our builder regarding this but since i don’t have landscaper on my resume, they said listen to Brent. We have very clay like soil as well. Once grading was “supposedly” done they lightly coated our yard with top soil. Grass came and sprinklers came on, along with my neighbors. From the get go i told Brent there was water drainage issues, he assured me it cause my neighbors and me have new grass so it’s not soaking it in. My whole rv pad was flooded, Brent did not do my rv pad but this is where the issues started, then it led to standing water constantly in my backyard because there is no slope. As well as my neighbors yard slopes directly into mine. I again told the builders and Brent something has to be fixed this is not right… and they came and changed out a few sprinkler heads and assured me there isn’t a leak. Edgar one of his employees said “it’s not perfect but it looks good” after we showed him all of the issues. Month goes by and my lawn is a swamp at this point and my basement floods. I call my home builder out and a professional to come look. Remind you in my backyard i had a pad prepped and the contractor was in conversation with Brent to make sure everything aligned. The poured the pad and all was well, back to my basement flooding and the home builder and professional coming out they found that the rain gutters that countryside/wright landscaping put underneath my pad to take water away from my home was all perforated pipe, so more than 90% of my roof water was going directly underneath my pad causing flooding. We didn’t water our yard all summer due to our neighbors watering and it slopping directly into mine, it kept the swamp going. I reached out the home builder and they agreed to remove Brent from the situation and call in 3 different landscape companies to take a look, all said the whole back yard needs to have a bunch of clay taken out, new top soil put in, new grade done and new grass, which is in the ballpark of 45k-60k to do so, we cannot afford that and the home owners denied to have it fixed as well. Second summer in and we’re still having issues and now we’re having to pay for a French drain to hopefully help the swamp of a mess. Unfortunately most of my proof that i have showing the mess of yard is on video which Google won’t allow me to add

- No Communication - Never a phone call or a knock on the door in advance. They show-up unannounced. SCARES MY WIFE to have men randomly show up in your backyard.
- Damaged Property & Lack of Respect - They painted on top of our landscaping rocks with PERMANENT pink spray paint to mark a location of a tree they wanted to plant, 2 YEARS AFTER THE CONSTRUCTION OF OUR HOME! NO NOTICE / FOREWARNING! THEY PLAN ON MOVING FORWARD WITH PLANTING THE TREE Despite OUR CLEAR OBJECTION!
- Damaged Property - They removed all the sprinklers in the rear of our yard, because a neighbor was having runoff issues. The problem had little to do with me, because 1/3 of my backyard has wood mulch with a drip system, and the other 2/3 is watered just enough where the lawn is slightly brown.
Damaged Property & Trespassed - While installing a French drain in our neighbors yard. Their workers trespassed into our yard. The mini excavator compressed our soil by 3 inches, workers left drink cups in our yard, and lawn was damaged.
- Drip line system would not turn off - Continuously flooded my side yard and killed 3 of my plants. I followed-up numerous times, but they took a year to correct.
- Sprinkler controller was bad - Bluetooth connection was not working properly. They took a year to correct.
- Sprinklers were not adjusted correctly. They were spraying my home. I had to readjust them.
- Flooding my Property - Sprinklers were set to water my lawn continuously for 4 hours TWICE DAILY! Yes, I understand that new lawns require more watering, but this went on for over a month, and the watering should have been broken up more, to allow the moisture to soak into the ground. The landscaper never came back to to readjust timing. My water bills were through the roof!
- Yards were not graded properly. Many of the properties in our neighborhood have yards that sloped toward the rear of the property. Sloping away from the home is normal with property grading, but there sloping is too great. Rather than soaking into the soil much of the irrigation runs off and collects along the property line causing flooding. They should have brought in more topsoil, so the grades on the lots are more subtle. The gradual grade would allow water greater opportunity to soak in to soil rather than running off. There are numerous homes in our neighborhood with similar flooding issues.

FOLLOW-UP: Brent came and spoke with me. He was apologetic. He made the necessary corrections to our landscape and provided updates and notice as to when his guys would be performing work on our property. I've added 2 photographs of the corrections made to our landscape.

I highly recommend Wright Landscaping. Our yard looks amazing. Wright’s crew was great to work with. They made sure they knew exactly what we wanted prior to starting work and kept us updated on progress. We couldn’t be happier.

Brent and the Wright landscaping team were incredible to work with throughout our full backyard renovation. They were very detail oriented about everything and helped us think through what was possible. Would highly recommend!

We are very impressed with Brent Wright and his crew! We had two tall trees pushing against our fence so we reached out to Brent for help removing these trees. Brent came out very quickly on the next day to provide some solutions so they can be removed safely. On the day of the work, it was raining so the lawn was soft. They had to use an heavy excavator to guide the falling tree so they don’t hit our house. They were very careful putting down rubber mats and plywood so the heavy machine didn’t damage the lawn. The fence had been previously damaged by the trees so they replaced it and it looks great now. I would definitely recommend Wright Landscaping

Wright Landscaping did an excellent job! They installed a French drain along the entire side of our yard. Our yard is very steep and they did everything by hand. They also installed gravel and weed control fabric along one side of our yard. Everything looks great, they finished quickly and gave me a very good price. I have worked with many landscapers and the owner is very honest and knowledgeable. His team is very hard working and they do great work. I highly recommend Wright Landscaping. Thank you!

Wright Landscaping was great to work with in getting sprinklers, drip system, and sod installed in our backyard. I really appreciated how well Brent and Eder communicated from day 1 (not something you usually get in a landscaper). They were easy to work with on scheduling and showed up when they said they would. We’re so happy with how it turned out! Pricing was very reasonable and comparable to other bids that we got. Would definitely recommend these guys if you need any landscaping done. I know they’ll be our first call if we ever need help with any future projects.

I hired Rox Landscaping to upgrade my parking strip from grass to a more water and maintenance friendly design. They came out to my house to discuss and evaluate the project. To help in my decision with the design, they provided me a sketch with ideas and pointed me to websites that had design ideas as well as, photos of different rocks and plants. Once the design was agreed upon, they provided a quote and let me know what their upcoming schedule looked like. We booked a date to move forward. They showed up when agreed upon and the completed work was very professional. The project came in at the estimated price and looked great. Very happy with my decision to use this company.
