We had the best service with Dan. Wonderful customer service and quick!

They came fast, fixed my pebble ice machine and cleaned it. It looks like new again I'll be using them over and over again.

Excellent service, they were very communicative. The technician (Derek) was honest and quickly addressed the problems with our dryer.

Lousy customer service, failed multiple times to show when scheduled had to reschedule several times. Lack of communication is common business practice for this company.
I had them replace hinges and springs on a 2 year old Viking oven/ range and the first time I used the oven after hinges were replaced the front window shattered. Don’t know if they’ll come out to rectify their repair and make it whole, twiddling my thumbs for a follow up either a call or email. Seems like I have to remind them of my window is in need of replacement.

Very disappointed with services performed. Contacted Justin the store manager found him to be very rude. His solution was to tell me to take my business some where else and good luck finding some body to do my services. So I would suggest to everyone, if you need service shop around and find someone who cares!

Henry was so knowledgeable and efficient when he repaired our Scotsman ice maker! He gave us a great education on what maintenance we needed to be doing to keep it running. I was very impressed with the service. Thank you.

The sensor on my washer needed to be replaced. My washer is 13 years old, but they found the part. Derek did a great job and also noticed the agitator wasn't working properly. A small component was broken which cost around a dollar, so the company didn't charge me for it, and the labor was minimal, so the company didn't charge me extra. Derek was professional, friendly and explained everything clearly including the cost. Kimball stands behind their work, is reasonably priced, and have a knowledgeable staff.

We’ve had two experiences with Kimball, both were exceptional. Fortunately, Derek Hunnewell was assigned to our account. He epitomizes customer-centricity. He’s extraordinarily well-versed on the products he serves and has a sincere interest in doing a great job. Though the rest of the Kimball team is likely great, I’ll be asking for Derek for all of my Viking repair needs.

I worked Derek Hunnewell and Steve the top service Technician. They both were amazing and so helpful. I have never had such honest fantastic work done on any of my appliances.
They made the whole experience so effortless!
This company is excellent in every way!!!
Thank you so much for your wonderful work!!!

Happy to find them- appliance manufacturer called them out for a covered repair. The service tech was very professional and went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Service Tech called with ETA, arrived on time, completed repair and cleaning of my ice maker including explaining how I could better maintain it to avoid other issues. Price was reasonable, and everything is working great. This is a service company that does things the “old-fashioned” way.

Purchased from Canada, I dealt with Jason and had a great experience. He dealt really well with an issue that wasn't his fault and made it right. I hope to not need any more parts for my Viking range but if I do, I'll be calling Kimball first.

First appointment was missed due to the service technician going to the wrong address. When Silas arrived the next morning was snarky and rude. Said it was great now that he had the right address. Our conversation did not go well after that and ultimately he refused to perform the service, technician called his manager Justin and insisted they (Kimball) not perform service at this address. Justin agreed and technician left.

Spoke with Justin, their service manager, and very disappointed. This company dropped the ball on a part order from Zephyr. One week ago, their technician arrived and said he would order the parts from Zephyr (which are usually shipped overnight). A week has passed and Kimball still is telling me they are waiting for parts (my guess is that they never ordered the parts). Zephyr confirmed they see no further orders on my service ticket from Kimball. Willing to 'deal' with all of this, I expected Kimball to own their mistake and fit me into an appointment tomorrow where Zephyr is overnighting the parts. Instead, Justin said "I'm not doing it," about sending someone out the next day, and told me to call another company. That's not the way to own the mistake your company has made with the parts never being ordered. There was also no communication from Kimball throughout the process. Only my calls prompted any activity (which clearly wasn't much). Seems like a bad company to me. I'd find another.

Update: Jan 11 - Thanks Alec. I was surprised by how little value I felt your company had for me as a customer. I know I was asking for more than a standard transaction, but this was after waiting a week with nothing happening. I'm happy to provide any further details you need as you do your investigation.

Update Jan 25 - Well, I've been waiting on Alec for two weeks to see what he found, but haven't heard anything. Alec?

Update Feb 23 - Still no update from this company or Alec. It's over a month now and they can't even focus on customers enough to give a simple response here as to what happened. Since this timeframe, I've used both Mr. Appliance of SLC (completed the job above) and Appliance Service by Paul (refrigerator issue) for different manufacturer warranty issues, and both have shown better service and customer care than I experienced with Kimball. Again, I'll offer one last time for Alec to let me know what happened after his investigation. Otherwise, I can't help but think the response was just words without action to protect their reviews.

Update March 12 - No updates from this company. I'm done with this review, as I think their lack of response says it all. I wouldn't use this company.

I had Scott come out to check out the 3 Miele dishwashers in my office space. He corrected the hinge tension on the first 2 very quickly, and was able to give me much more insight on the issues the 3rd one has been giving me. Prompt, helpful service.

These guys know their stuff on high-end kitchen appliances. I have a Viking refrigerator whose crisper drawers fell off the tracks and I couldn’t get them back together. I initially called another company that could come out right away. They did come, but I could see that they were struggling. They insisted on ordering a new shelf and drawer runner combination. They did so and quoted upwards of $2700 to get new parts and re-install it all. I overheard that they weren’t quite sure if I might need a 2nd shelf, also, which would have been even more! Service for Viking products is expensive, but this is ridiculous. After a few days of fuming, I decided to call Kimball Appliance Service. Their parts expert, Robert, was extremely knowledgeable and responsive and I definitely felt that they were the better alternative. The price they were quoting was about 25% of the first company. So I cancelled the first company, and had to pay their 25% restocking fee on the shelf and drawer runner set. Kimball’s installer, Steve Smith, came out the following week and brought with him a new shelf, without the drawer runner, which they said was not needed! Within 20 minutes Steve had the new shelf installed with the old runners and drawers! My total cost for Kimball was 25% of the first company. No muss, no fuss. These guys at Kimball did a great job. I wish I had called them first.

0 stars. These guys came out and evaluated our stove. They charged us about $130 just to tell us what we already knew, that the stove was broken. We asked them to get the parts to fix the stove and they said they would. They did not. We waited three weeks for them to get the part. We followed up with them after two weeks and they did not respond to our request.

We will not be using their services again.
Do not use this business for repairs or part orders.

They came out to fix my freezer as part of an RC Willey Warranty claim. The technician (who had just months of experience) ran a few diagnostics and said I needed a new unit, and that he couldn't fix anything, and that the part is out of stock. It was available online when I searched for it. Four months later I still haven't heard back from them, and RC Willey eventually sent out Bill's Appliance Repair, whose experienced repair guy actually fixed the freezer and I had it working that same day. Next time you need anything done, call Bill's Appliance Repair.

The technician was on time , very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issue quickly . The part had to be ordered and in about one week he came back and replaced the faulty part . I am very happy with the entire process .
