Very professional chimney sweep service. The technician was knowledgeable and took the time to explain what needed to be done. He worked efficiently while still paying attention to every detail. My chimney looks great and functions much better now. I felt confident that the job was done properly. Excellent customer service and great workmanship. Great experience with this chimney sweep service. The technician was very polite and did an excellent job cleaning the chimney. He worked carefully and made sure no dust or debris spread inside the house. Everything was completed quickly and professionally. My fireplace now works better than ever. The service is average, but way overpriced. This is a husband and wife team that comes out to do the work, but the wife ends up doing pretty much all the work, while the guy tells her what to do and walks around doing an "inspection", which is an excuse for him to constantly try to sell you other services you aren't really interested in. So, I felt like I was paying in part for a hour plus sales job because I didn't get two workers - even though I was charged enough for two. The guy kept telling me they were a "high-end" cleaning service, which is really just a justification for charging far more than anyone else does for the same service,. The quality of work was not high end, just the price. Definitely will not hire again.

We (Brickyard Animal Hospital) have used Bart and his company for our windows, rain gutter and dryer vent cleaning for several years. Always does a great job, treats us well and is completely reliable.

The quality of the repair was better than I could of imagined. We had a very complicated old chimney that was crumbling. Their solution to repair was great and it turned out so good. The level of detail and time they spent to make sure everything was done perfectly was amazing. I am so happy I found them. They were easy to work with, kind and professional. They communicated all details along the way. I would recommend them to everyone and will be calling them for any future chimney needs.

They (primarily meaning the wife in this two-person team) cleaned a chimney flue on one of my properties. I assume they did an acceptable job. But for a variety of reasons I wasn't comfortable with this company, so I got two opinions for a second chimney flue. A.B. Richards told me this next flue was an extreme fire hazard because it was so dirty. The other chimney sweep told me the flue was "clean as a whistle" even though it wasn't in his interest to say so. I have never again requested A.B. Richards' services.

The A.B. Richards team cleaned and sealed our chimneys (one gas and one wood-burning) and did a great job. They were quick and clean.

I needed my gutters cleaned because they had not been done for a very long time. Bart and Kathy rescued me on a cold day and stayed late to get the job done before a storm. I was very pleased with their work and grateful they could come with late notice.

This team does fantastic work. I discovered there was a MASSIVE birds nest in the chimney of the house I recently bought. They came over the day after I called them and were in and out in about 30 minutes. They did an inspection of the upstairs fireplace and recommended some preventative maintenance to avoid this problem from happening again.

The whole thing only cost me $275.

They also did a complimentary inspection on my downstairs fireplace as well and pointed out why that fireplace filled my downstairs with smoke when used. They showed me some very concerning things about the previous owners "handy work" that should to be replaced.

I will 110% be calling them again when I'm ready to have my other fireplace worked on and for every yearly cleaning. They're the best!

I have used AB Richards several times. They charge a fair price, show up on time, do a great job, are courteous, respectful and leave no mess. But the real measure of a company is how they deal with a problem. On their last job we had a misunderstanding of which we were equally responsible. A lot of companies would say tough luck, cash the check, and you would never see them again. AB Richards immediately addressed the problem and went out of their way to resolve it to my satisfaction. I highly recommend you do business with them

AB Professionals were very professional. They were on time and very thorough. Their price extremely reasonable for the job they did. They were able to get hard water spots off that we have not been able to get off for years. Their work was excellent and my windows just sparkled after they were finished. I was extremely pleased with the work they did for us.

Birds! The birds! They were living in our chimney and chirping at unholy hours of the morning. I called A.B. Richards and they came out the same day to take a look. First they did a VERY thorough check of our chimney, assessed a few issues that we may have, informed us that we needed a chimney cover and had quotes for the labor and parts almost immediately. They were fair, helpful, and really cared about getting our issues resolved and in a timely manner. I'd also like to add that upon inspection they informed us that our chimney was very clean (hadn't been used in years) which was refreshing. They could have told me it needed a deep clean and pocketed some cash, but instead chose to be honest about what we actually needed. If I ever have any chimney related needs again I'll happily call them up!

Did a thorough job on the chimney cleaning. No complaints there. Beware pricing on chimney caps. Quoted me over $1,000 to purchase and install 3. Instead I picked up 3 from Home Depot a did it myself for about $100 and 10 minutes of work.

AB Richards Pros. came to repair a cinder block wall that was in sad shape. While here, he, also, repaired a brick patio wall and fireplace. Mr. Richards. was extremely proficient in making the wall and patio look like new when he tuck-pointed them. Mr. Richards himself was very personable'. he had his son and his wife here at times and they,i too, were very friendly and personable. The work was awesome and beautiful when finished. His company is truly professional.
