Construction Company reviews in Salt Lake City, Utah

I only delivered some steel from California to them but they were very professional and had me offloaded in no time.

They do such beautiful work in the detail they put into the concrete to make it look like a stone wall it's just amazing keep up the good work guys
-
Kali and crew fixed a small section of my stamped cement that had to be replaced after a sewer line repair. The guys did a great job and were able to match the 20 year old cement as best that you could. I would definitely recommend these guys as doing great work for a reasonable price!
-

We had a great experience with this company. We have already passed along their information to three other people.
-
Fast service, took care of my needs and took the time to talk with me about the process.

KFM does really great work i highly recommend them they were friendly and respectful.. They had that island friendly vibe, and did an amazing job.
-
I would not recommend this company to anyone, there communication between there crews is very poor, communication with pm by them even worse, not to mention they smashed into clients house damaging stucco and banding, with tons of false promises to fix over and over they just quit responding all together and declining calls, not professional by any means!!

KFM Construction poured the foundation for my room addition. The men were great workers and did an excellent job. I highly recommend them.

Had this company install a stamped cement path way from my frontyard to my backyard. They did an amazing job, they were quick and professional. I would highly recommend them for any concrete work you need.
-
These folks cracked my foundation. The work they did started cracking and chipping within a week. Puddles everywhere. Now there is a lien on my house because they didn't pay their bills.
I would caution anyone who considered hiring this company. -
KFM does quality work, and makes sure to fit the needs of their customers. I have been pumping concrete for them for 2 years and always notice how well prepared they are for their pours. They never take short cuts. Great crew of men.

KFM did a very professional job. They were punctual and kept me informed of their schedule and when things would be done. They were going to do just my footings and foundation but I kept giving them more jobs because of their good work ethic.

We got a bid and unfortunately can’t do any additions right now, but I’m so happy with how we were treated for the bid! Prompt replies, we were treated kindly, and they followed up. Would recommend, and we will come here when we’re ready!

0 Stars!! Do not use this company!! They did a terrible job, they damaged the concrete when they pulled the forms. After that they stoped taking my calls. I had to pay anther company to fix it. Now I just got notice from the concrete company saying they are leaning my property because they KFM did not pay for the concrete.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend KFM. My project was around 95 feet of concrete on the side of my house and the side of my front driveway. Because of the expense of this project and the reasons listed below it was the most nerve wracking experience I have had with any job at my house.
- Didn't tell me to tarp. I poured in the fall and the very next day it pour rain all morning. Had I not gone to Home Depot and bought a hundred feet of plastic to cover my newly poured concrete it might have all been ruined. I had talked to KFM but they didn't seem worried. But the next day they were surprised how much it rained. I was not surprised, because I had been watching the weather closely.
- Didn't tell me to use concrete blankets. A day or two after the rain, the temperatures plunged to sub-freezing. After worrying about what to do about this, I found out through Googling that I can get concrete blankets to keep the newly poured pad from freezing. So I spent more money to rent blankets from a local concrete specialty store. Had I not, again my pad would likely have been ruined. In fact, I found out at the concrete specialty store that they were selling a lot of blankets for that weekend specifically because of the sub-freezing temperatures. I received no heads-up from KFM on this ahead of time. Very disappointing.
- I was told the excavation portion was done twice before it was actually to the 8 inch depth that was bid.
- I felt constantly pressured to pour even when I wasn't ready. I had some unique circumstances related to a french drain that delayed things a few times. But it seemed that KFM just wanted to get the pour done and wasn't concerned about my situation.
- KFM broke the fence with the excavator and then did a poor job fixing it. I refused to pay the second half of the money until it was fixed properly. Then they fixed it.
- KFM told me I wasn't going to be charged for an extra 1.5' x 4' section, then when I told him I wanted to pay via credit card, he wanted me to pay $200 for the section. Which I paid.
- KFM showed up at 7am to finish preparation because they planned to pour the next day, but there had been no discussion with me about pouring the next day. In fact, I had specifically asked them not to pour but KFM had stopped responding to my messages.
- Did not use 2x4s everywhere for the framing so one part of the concrete bows out. Which I asked for a discount on. They gave the discount.
Ultimately, I think my pad will be okay, but it is only because of things I did to ensure that. Had I not been very involved it likely would have been ruined. -
Do not hire! Tau doesn’t pay his bills. Left me with a lien on my house and stopped answering my phone calls. I had KFM do a foundation pour and everything they did was unusual and incorrect. My foundation is off square and out of elevation. Not to mention it’s his children doing all the work. Nearly got child services involved. This company is wildly unprofessional. Find another contractor

KFM Construction did a fantastic job on my driveway. They were very professional and took pride in their work. When they came across a spliced sprinkler line, they replaced the entire line instead of burying the spliced line under the driveway. The day after the pour, they came back out and pressure washed the entire street and my driveway. It was cleaner after they left then before the pour. You can't go wrong with this company. Fair prices, quality work, and good, honest people.
