I don’t often post reviews, but I feel compelled to share, as the five-star reviews here misled us. We had a gas leak around our kitchen range and hired Walton Plumbing Heat & Air to diagnose and solve the problem.
They misdiagnosed the problem. During the visit, they left for over an hour to purchase a pipe, and then subsequently billed us for that hour. They removed that hour from the bill after we pointed it out. After installing the new pipe, despite the gas detector continuing to alarm, they left the house and attributed the alarm to “low batteries.”
When we detected the smell of gas the following days and called the team back, it was finally noted that the problem was with our range. We requested a refund of the $400 charged, and the team has not been responsive.
Not only was the problem not fixed, the team during the initial visit was unprofessional — visibly exasperated, mumbling profanities, sloppy. Our hardwood floors were scratched with their carelessness. To sum up my experience with this business: incompetent, dishonest, and unresponsive.
