This is by far the worst company I’ve ever worked with. They replaced my unit in July and it’s still not working. I’ve tried calling them several times and they won’t answer our calls. They never give you a report on anything they do. They just do temporary fixes and leave without letting us know what the issues are. After paying them money to replace our unit, we expected to have a working a/c. We have been dealing with this all summer and to the day, it still hasn’t been fixed. They are unprofessional and I wished we could have just gone through a different company. Save yourself the time and money.

UPDATE: I updated my review because after hearing our frustrations, Hillside sent in a a different tech and let me tell you, this guy worked his butt off! John worked from 10 am until 10 pm. He made sure that everything was working properly and called us two weeks later to check in and make sure we were satisfied with the service. Our unit has been working properly since. Thank you John for your awesome work!!

They didn't really do anything besides tell us to clean the condenser. Felt like a waste of money. They were on time, that's about all I can say.

A Hillside heating and air van bullied my grandma out of her lane, their van was in the right turn only lane and forced my grandma out of her lane to get into the through lane, making her late for her eye appointment. Horrible driver and they should be ashamed of themselves.

One of their careless technicians almost ran me and my babies off the road coming out of The Canyon.
with Such a dangerous driver , Careless to the rule of the road and safe driving practices I would Definitely NOT recommend their services!!!

Took almost a month to fix a swampcooler. There was a delay due to the home warranty company processing the claim, but at least 2 weeks was due to the contractor. Contractor wouldn't return the calls and was late for appointments. While fixing swampcooler, broke the water line going to the swampcooler, which flooded the place. Didn't want to fix it as they said they don't deal with plumbing lines.

If I could give zero stars I would. I’ll start off by saying this company was provided to me from my home warranty company. Would not recommend getting any services done by them. They told me we had a gas leak and once they got approved by the HWC they would return later that day, We waited and waited for them to return to the house like he said he would do & never came back nor did he call!

Hillside HVAC was friendly, that’s about all I can say. All I have after a month and a half of appointments is an air return I don’t need, and a system that still doesn’t work.

I was told that my system had zero air returns in the basement, so I paid hillside $200 to put one in - only to be told by another company that I already had 2 returns in the basement and a third was definitely not needed. Hillside sent a tech out and ultimately had me pay for his mistake. I do believe this was an honest mistake. However, the customer should not have to pay for on site training.

In the end I simply could not trust hillside to provide the services I need.

Absolutely horrible service. My home warranty service contracted them to repair my air condition and made an appointed. I missed work to be home. They didn't show. Another appointment was made. I called Hillside and asked them to come between 9 and Noon - they said they would. They showed up at 4 PM when I was working with a client. After examining my AC, they said there was nothing wrong with it. I received a string of alerts from my AC thermostat that the AC was looking cooling. Made another appointment. Showed up and couldn't find anything wrong. Then more alerts from my AC. Made another appointment between 12:30 PM and 4:30 PM. Showed up at 4:55 PM. The repairman examined the system and said there was nothing wrong. I asked him to reexamine and he said the condenser or compressor was shot and replaced it. Said my AC would work perfectly. Later, I received more messages from the thermostat app saying it was looking cooling. The thermostat would be set at 71 and the temperature would be over 85! I have never experienced such incompetent and unprofessional service!
