Unfortunately had a bad experience. What was supposed to be a day and a half basic installation of air conditioning turned into 4 long days with three return trips to fix things left undone or done wrong. I like the owner, seemed knowledgeable and nice but at the end of the day, the service level provided was not what was promised. Aside from the last visit, every time they were here I felt like they were in a hurry to leave and I was an after thought to their other customers, even though I was purchasing a higher end system. The only thing that happened timely was the effort to collect the payment.

The remedy to the poor service was a free first service and air filter.

Came to do regular check up, said it would cost $50+ to do humidifier maintenance. I asked how often that needs to be done, he said once a year. I said we’ve only had the new furnace 6 months. Then he said no charge. He should have known that. If you want great reviews don’t try to nickel a dime customers.

Had Kevin come out to our place of business to service and prep us for summer A/C use! Kevin went above and beyond to make sure that we were completely ready for the HEAT that is sure to come!!! Thank you Kevin!!

6/30/22: Requested Stephen Crain because we trust him and he and company always takes good care of my mom's HVAC system. Came on time for seasonal check and all OK except condensation pump not turning off when reservoir empty. Because mom is 97 and on limited budget and the new pump has plug and requires outlet, Stephen sold us Part-only for my electronic tech brother-in- law to install later and save her installation cost.
7/20/22: Later after Stephen and I left, my mom complained that AC wasn't cooling. She called AAA back and Spencer Phillips showed up the next day and determined that the existing condensation pump occasionally would shut down condensing unit. He cleaned out the reservoir, float, outlet hose check valve and restored unit and AC to working order. Later he called me and specifically explained all that he did. Thanks Spencer for the unique resolve and detailed explanation.

9/4/22: Emergency Sunday call for AC not working due to old condenser pump down again. Stephen Crain came out on time to wire in new condenser pump and had my elderly mom back up and running. Thanks again Steve.
3/13/23: Spring AC & Furnace check by Stephen. All Ok.
6/20/25: Requested Steven Crain to come and do 1st routine AC check. We purchased a 2-year 4-visit package. 3 to go.

James came out and did a great job. Finding out that my fireplace was not vented at all was very dangerous. We had other companies come out and they did not catch it. We would highly recommend them for your heating and air.

Another Update 8/6/25: The 5 stars continue. I had AAA install a new AC unit I'm very happy with the service it took 2 days to install just as Erick told me it would. A couple weeks later Erick came by to check the install there were a few corrections needed which were done in a timely fashion.AAA was my 1st call to do the install I want to mention Spencer & Ronald I appreciate the work they did.
Update 9/16/22 still happy with the service received Levi was able to come early for the check up service on my furnace. Very professional Thank you Levi 4/8/22 I'm very happy with today's service. James able to come early before the scheduled appointment. The James was very professional. He discovered a safety issue I was unaware of and able to correct the issue at the same time he worked on my furnace. I am grateful he found it. I would not hesitate to contact them for service again. Thank you James

AAA Cooling has done a great job updating my furnace and AC - again! I used them 15yrs ago at a previous home. Their quality and pricing is 2nd to none. The installers are friendly and professional. Steven, has been out a couple times to check the install, and today for a “check-up”. He’s very good at explaining what he’s doing, does it quickly, and makes sure everything is running properly. Highly recommend them for any heating & cooling needs!

Steve and Spencer did an extraordinary job helping us with our water heater issues. They both went way out of their way to get things back on line. It wasn’t just service. Steve with AAA is friendly, professional, and a great guy. Our Hvac system was out, and he was able to come over and get us cool in just a couple of hours . AAA has been our service company for many years, and their quality work has never changed.

Steven Crain did a wonderful job today on flushing out our brand new tankless water heater and doing the maintenance on our furnace and heat pump. Recommend him to everyone everywhere.!!! along with AAA!!!

Steven did a great job with my annual inspection and furnace tuneup. He repaired a small problem, and was careful and thorough. He was also extraordinarily courteous and professional. The company’s annual maintenance plan is outstanding, but pricey. I’m certain I could find a yearly inspection for less money, but doubt I could find the same level of integrity and skill. I heartily recommend this company!

These guys are just like the sandwich shop "Freaky Good, Freaky Fast!" They do quality work. We are very happy with the result. And, they were very fair with their prices for service. We will share the good news of Neon Plumbing Heating & Air.

Trent and Hyrum are an awesome team - they came by to install a backwater valve in our utility closet. Very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Had to break down through the concrete floor, but cleaned it all up nicely and it looks as good as new!

Trent was able to quickly diagnose the problem. He actually told me ahead of time what he thought the issue may be and he was correct. He fixed the issue and educated me on why the issue occurred and what to do to avoid similar problems in the future.

Trent is definitely a master plumber, distinguished by efficient and professional service. He and his assistant did everything as promised on my soft water install and gave me great advice.

The upflow system installed consumes half the amount of salt as cheaper systems and is only slightly more expensive; would highly recommend.

Trent and Hyrum at Neon were great. They replaced the pan under my water heater. The quote I got was over $1,000 less than the competitors and they completed more than what the competition was going to do. They were also great to work with on schedule.

Hyrum did a great job removing our old water heater and replacing it with a new Rheem water heater and installing a new high efficiency water softener.

Very thankful for the Neon Plumbing crew. Scheduling the service was simple and clear, Trent and the other plumber were very professional and went the extra mile to help us get the clogged drain back to normal. It was hard because our sewer line was longer than expected and we had to run through it multiple times, with the regular approach not working. They worked fast and worked with me to figure out what was wrong and how to fix it.

I don't often write reviews, but Trent Mortensen with Neon went out of his way to make my life exceptionally easy with this unexpected project. Our condo has a hydronic heating unit, which died suddenly. There is only one company in the U.S. that manufactures these units and each unit is made-to-order. Dealing with a manufacturer that is in a monopolistic position is never easy, but Trent got our order in and dealt with them to make the experience as expeditious, pain free, and seamless as possible. I was impressed by his availability (always answering a text) and, ultimately, by the job and the work he did. Our condo is a second floor unit and Trent had to install the unit from the outside, which put our siding in jeopardy. Trent and his team took great care in their approach and execution and salvaged the siding. I was very impressed and highly recommend Neon Heating Plumbing & Air. Thanks, Trent!
