These guys are great. They removed for of my stumps, including three that were right by the house. They showed up when they said they would, took time to understand my needs and concerns, and cleaned up the yard after the stumps were removed. I reached out to Utah StumpX after reading their online reviews and was not disappointed. I contacted them via their website where I was able to post pictures and a description of the work to receive an online bid. They got back to me the same day and were able to take care of my stump within a week.

The stump was located next to a slope and the foundation of my house in addition to a couple of other nearby obstacles, but Spencer was able to take care of it without any problems. They arrived to the job when they said they would and left a clean worksite afterwards. The only evidence that they were there was that the stump is now gone… Even nicer, when the job ended up being easier than anticipated they discounted my very reasonable bid by 15%. Dave is a great guy, I have enjoyed working with him. His tree carving is exceptional, he can handle commercial and architectural work of any size.

Make sure that you know how high your tree is and what kind of wood it is before calling. I didn't know that these were critical things the customer needed to know and it turned out to be a deal breaker when my trunk was under 8 feet after the limbs were chopped off.

Though I did not use them as a tree carving service, I did use them as a helpful research resource. They answered a ton of questions I had about tree carving, how to preserve wood and even gave me some tips on getting varnish to the correct consistency. I really appreciated the advice! So friendly and helpful.

Mr. DAVIS arrived as scheduled. He is very professional and his work on our trees looks very good. We had him trim two globe willows. He has a chipper to shred the limbs and the work was very fast. What I really liked was how he cleaned up the area when finished. He is an easy man to work with and I'd recomennd his service to anyone. We live in North Utah County close to his business location.

I had 4 trees cut completely down and the stumps ground. I also had several trees pruned and branches removed that were too close to my house. Davis & Davis Tree Care provided outstanding *5 STAR* customer service, top notch all the way. I’m 100% satisfied with the job they did, I don’t have one complaint whatsoever. It rained most of the day, and still they arrived on time and took care of the entire project in a timely manner. It was completely done, cleaned up and hauled off in one day and all four stumps were ground the next day. They’re very professional, incredibly hard working and definitely know what they’re doing, their work is impressive to say the least. The price I paid was extremely fair, reasonable and slightly lower than everyone else who gave me a quote. I had several companies come and bid the project, but Karsten seemed to be the most knowledgeable, trustworthy and confident in getting the job done to my expectations. I felt comfortable and assured that my house wouldn’t be compromised with the cutting down of the two large, mature trees that were really close to my house. I also liked the fact that they are licensed and insured, that was an important key factor. I highly recommend this company, I can’t express enough, I’m above & beyond impressed with them and their degree of expertise, reliability, experience and efficiency. Without a doubt, I’ll hire them again in the future and recommend them to anyone needing tree removal, pruning and/or advice regarding tree care.

Honestly, great experience with this guys: honest, transparent and efficient. I trusted their recommendations and they did a great job- we have lots of trees and my backyard already looks so much cleaner and my trees look so much healthier! I couldn’t be happier with the excellent service from Davis and Davis. Hardest workers I’ve seen. They cleaned up all debris and left the yard better than when they came. Answered all questions we had and more. Very pleased with the had work they did.
