I had a great experience working with this concrete contractor. He provided a prompt and competitive bid, the lowest among several I received, and was easy to communicate with throughout the process. Highly recommend based on my experience.

JP and his crew turned our uneven, crabgrass infested yard into a mulch, xeriscape paradise. They worked in between winter storms to dig up 8" of strangled soil and left it looking magnificent, exactly to my specification. On top of that, his team delivered and staged mulch and soil for our future garden beds. JP's professionally licensed in concrete work, so he's also providing estimates on different projects. Other contractors I looked at for my projects only had 1 license, or none at all, but JP has three, which I verified on the DPL website.

Each step of the way, JP was communicative and transparent about his pricing. His crew are professionals and worked literally through hail, sleet, snow, and sunshine to get our yard perfect. Seriously, I can't describe how impressed I am with this team.

If you need landscaping or concrete needs, you need to call JP and don't waste your time with the other big company crews. If you want to stay within budget with great quality, this is your guy.

The before photos don't really show how bad the front yard was, but it was overgrown with crabgrass and was 4" over grade from a previous owner. JP and his team pulled all that back including an additional 4", cleaning up our flower beds, while being careful of our utilities line, and wrapped the bare ground in weed barrier before piling on an excellent textured mulch. All within 6 days. Between the winter storms that hit us this spring.

Disappointed. We had a terrible experience with these guys. We hired them to extend our driveway and add a fence post. It was easy to get them scheduled, but that’s where it stopped being easy.

The crew came out to demo my yard to prepare for the new concrete and they took chunks out of my existing driveway. They also destroyed my sprinklers and we had to wait an extra week or so for a replacement part to come in. They also destroyed my neighbors sprinkler and took some of their decorative bricks and threw them in a garbage heap, which caused awkwardness between us and them. They put all the dirt from the demo on my existing driveway and left it there for like 5 days, blocking my wife’s car in. When they came back to frame it up they kept forgetting about parts of the project (fence post, putting metal under my stairs for support, how we wanted to grade the cement for a basketball hoop, details I had to go through with them like 10x and it was still chaos when the cement came). They would schedule the pour and then I wouldn’t hear from them. I took multiple days off work for the pour that never came.

When the day finally came they had the cement truck pull on my driveway directly and it cracked so bad they had to cut out a piece and frame it up on the fly. The fence post that I paid them to set is hollow (no wood holding it up). They didn’t dig a hole, they just set the post in the cement and called it good. After the job was done we saw a bunch of chips in our existing driveway, and some of the new cement crumbling away. I’ve been calling them since they poured and keep getting the runaround. They’ll tell me they’ll have someone out and then go silent. Once I paid them they went dark. They promise a warrenty on the work but once you pay you’re no longer a priority.

I still text Teki and Garrett once every week or two begging them for help. Our cement was poured in May (it’s now September). They’ll tell me that they’ll get someone out next week and go quiet again. I didn’t want to leave a bad review because they seem like nice people, but it’s been a nightmare.

Jesse and his crew were amazing. They did an excellent job on a tight budget, and it looks so good. They cleared out weeds, installed sprinklers and put in sod. They were so nice and professional, and I would definitely hire them again.

We had a great experience with JP Vega Landscaping laying concrete for our backyard patio and a small sidewalk. Many contractors I called would not do small concrete pours but JP Vega was able to schedule and complete our project quickly. They have excellent attention to detail and completed their work with high quality. We will definitely be using them for any future landscaping needs.

Jesse and his team were amazing at installing my fence. They were priced fair and were very efficient. They were very professional and did an overall great job. I was recommended to them, and would recommend them as well.

Jesse is the best! He is personable, kind, professional, reliable, and honest. He has a good eye for things and made wonderful recommendations without being pushy. He was patient with me and made it a great experience. I’ve had people work on the Inside and outside of my house and know the value of having someone that does great work, shows up, communicates, and holds themselves to the higher standards. As always we had a great experience with Jesse Vega and his crew. Jesse did all of the trench work, helped us get a trench box, handled excavation, foundation, and the concrete slab for our house build, plus two very large tree removals. He’s also done work for us before, including laying sod, and doing our driveway. So we already trusted him going into this.
For me the best part about worrying with these guys is the communication. Jesse answered my calls, texts and answered all my questions any time of day. He also showed up rain, snow, or shine, laying tarps and checking the site to make sure everything was protected and done right.

I contacted a dozen landscaping companies to make my backyard from a dirt lot. Only three responded and came out for a quote, and still one of those forgot to actually finish the quote after getting measurements. Of the two remainders, JP Vega was about $5,000 cheaper and that's including fencing that the other company wouldn't do.

They were very professional, always willing to accept feedback, and did a great job making sure we were happy with progress every step of the way. The finished backyard looks amazing, and the fair price gave us more room in the budget to upgrade materials and add some extras. My parents loved how our backyard looks, now they are planning on calling JP to renovate their backyard soon too.

Alec is a design wizard when it comes to landscaping. He has lots of great ideas and listens to what you want. He is also our go to for sprinklers. Any time I have problems he comes over quick to fix the issue. He pays great attention to detail and takes pride in making your yard look great. He even fixed sloppy work we had done from another contractor. We will continue to have Alec help us with future landscaping and I highly recommend his work.

They did an amazing job with our backyard retaining wall.
The rocks we got have neat geodes in them that are lined with crystals. The crew to care to position each rock so that the crystals were showing and not buried.
