I know nothing about this company another then there must be some great people working there. Went get breakfast this morning from McDonald's. As we pull up to pay they let us know the man ahead of us with this logo on the back had paid for everyone in lines order. Thank you sir.

I can't speak on their ability as an electrician. I can only speak to their commitment to safety. Rather, their lacking commitment to safety.

There's a funny thing about the HOV lane. The sensors have color coded lights.
Green means it read your exemption tag.
Blue means it read your pass.
Yellow means it didn't read a tag or pass.
If you have a safe following distance, then the person in front of you will not see the light flash for your car.

For many miles, I had no issue reading the yellow light that flashed for the single occupant Coates Electrical truck riding my bumper in the HOV lane. There was not even a quarter second between light flashes and we were traveling at freeway speeds.

This tells me everything I need to know about Coates Electrical. They do not care about making an unsafe environment. They will endanger anyone and even break laws they find inconvenient.

Funny thing is, I'm in the market for an electrician. The first thing I look for in an electrician is an firm belief in safety first. The second thing is one that doesn't cut corners. I do not know why they felt entitled to create an unsafe environment on our freeways or why they needed to cut corners by abusing the HOV lane. If they're not willing to adhere to safety first in public, then I do not know what you would expect them to do differently in your home.

I've read their other reviews. Seems people like to praise them for their charity. Where is their charity when it comes to giving people a safe following distance? Where is their charity when they abuse the HOV lane to steal a free ride? Using money to put on a false face of magnanimity is the problem with charity. What other ugliness would they use money (or drywall) to hide?

Live Wire was communicative, efficient, and did not inflate prices (I had 4 other bids, and they were ALL over inflated). I dealt with Chandler the entire time. He is very responsive and efficient. Day of the Job, they showed up exactly when promised with a clear picture of what he needed to do. Aiden, the apprentice was also very professional and worked very well with Chandler when installing an outdoor receptacle that had to be trenched, and on its own circuit. If you are looking for an Electrician, stop thinking and go with theae guys. I will cause them again.

Great Company With Outstanding Customer Service.

They installed an EV charger in my garage and a few outlets in my home. Friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, clean and efficient. Great job!

I called him in the morning and explained the problem. He offered to come out but told me it was probably an electric company problem. It was! It was fixed for free by the company. I appreciated the opportunity to save on a service call.

Livewire did an excellent and timely job of running power to a hot tub. Tom and Justin were both knowledgeable and very helpful.

These guys are very detailed about the how they handle projects. I have used them on several heat cable installs for newly built homes. When it comes to designing and coordinating the electrical in a custom home these guys are the ones I can count on. I would highly recommend them to the best of contractors.

I don't even know where to start with the review because there is so much good - but maybe I'll start with their team's attention to detail. These folks do some very big and complex whole-house jobs, and the team is not always continuous. However, the way they can leave a job with sufficient bread crumbs for the next guy to pick up many months later is nothing short of awesome.

Plus these folks are very likable. They didn't mind that I was at the site at least once a day (they probably minded but were nice enough not to say anything and I tried not to get in their way). It wasn't because I felt like I needed to be there, but because I was just so excited about the build. They listen well and leave the site very clean. They work hard so keep 'em stocked with snacks and drinks - especially energy drinks. Redbull seemed to be a favorite.

Long story short - use these folks, even if the lead time is months out. You won't be disappointed with the end product.
