Reviews of local pros in Bristol, Vermont

We are so fortunate to have found Butler Lawn and Landscape LLC. We own a restaurant & event venue in Addison County, Gregg and his crew have been maintaining our landscapes for years now. They are easy to work with, consistent and very good at what they do. In the past years, they have worked on multiple projects on our property, helped us recover from a fire in 2021. They created a beautiful entrance to our wedding venue, built a stone walls, worked many hours. It turned out beautiful, we get compliments on it all the time.
I can't recommend them enough. Gregg always listens to our requests and gives great suggestions. We couldn't be happier with his professionalism, work quality and especially his reliability.
Highly recommended!

Going on 10 years of handling our mowing and plowing. Good work, easy billing and communication, fair price. Those five stars were earned.

Well-deserved praise to Gregg and the Butler Lawn & Landscape crew. While we don't hire the Butler team for service, had to call and compliment the team for their safe driving and patience while passing cyclists on the road. Multiple occasions where the Butler crew took the extra time to give safe speed and distance while passing on the road. Thanks again!

Gregg did an amazing job of sanding my long uphill driveway that was a complete sheet of ice. He did this on an emergency basis so I could get to my dad before his surgery. Not only does he do a great job, he is a wonderful man! Thank you Gregg!

When we welcomed our 2nd kiddo into the world, our busy schedules meant we needed to hire some help at home. Our plow guy told us about Gregg's crew and we hired them in Summer 2022. They had great pricing and great service and we've been with them ever since.

Gregg is smart, very hard working, and his crew is timely, reliable, and friendly. If you're thinking about spring driveway cleanup, landscaping projects you'd love to see tackled, or regular spring/summer maintenance needs - please give Gregg a call!

Gregg and his crew have been servicing our property year round for several years now. His services are the best you can find!! Gregg goes out of his way to always accommodate your needs whatever they might be. If they can’t do the work, it can’t be done. His guys are friendly and professional. If you go with Butler Landscaping you can”t go wrong. He will always treat you right. We highly recommend Butler Landscaping for your landscape needs.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Gregg for years, both personally and for my business, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. They take care of my family’s business, my home, and multiple rental properties, and the quality of their work is consistently excellent.
They are incredibly hard-working, reliable, and always show up when they say they will. Whether it’s routine mowing, landscaping, or snow plowing in the winter, they handle everything with professionalism and attention to detail. It’s clear they take pride in what they do.
If you’re looking for a dependable, trustworthy team to take care of your property year-round, I highly recommend them.

Butler Lawn and Landscape does an awesome job taking care of my property in Vergennes. The mowing crew always makes an extra effort to make things look neat. They use the trimmer and blower to add the finishing touch after each mowing. They are extremely dependable and take pride in their work. The crew is very respectful and courteous. Also, if the weather turns dry and they do not mow, they do not charge for that week. It is an all-around great experience using their service.

Dana of Curtis Landworks recently resurfaced my gravel driveway and enlarged the parking area and I couldn't be happier. It looks great. Dana is a professional...communication and dependability were spot on. He takes pride in his work, which shows, as it looks great...crowned nicely with clean edges. Highly recommend

Dana did an excellent job reconfiguring my whole driveway and the drainage around my house. He came exactly when he said he would and the job ended up costing less than his estimate. He worked with impeccable attention to detail. My property looks great.

Dana’s work is fantastic! The time from quote to completion of work was fast. Dana raked and smoothed the bumps out of my dog agility field. He recommended one small and inexpensive change to the plan that has turned out to be my favorite feature: widening the access point for seasonal access with a vehicle.

Dana did an outstanding job refurbishing our long gravel driveway. Nicely crowned and built to last. Dana provided excellent communication and attention to detail throughout the project. I highly recommend Curtis Landworks for any gravel driveway needs.

Highly recommend!

Dana provided an estimate for clearing out sumac, invasive plants, bushes, & saplings from our terraced backyard. From that time until the job was complete, he was communicative, timely, and efficient.

Our experience with Curtis Landworks was perfect! There is no part of the process that could have been better -assessment...estimate...the work itself.. Dana Curtis was clear, fair, on time and did the work with competence and conscientious attention to detail. Dana always had the "big picture" in mind that save him time and me money. I highly recommend Curtis Landworks to anyone who needs excavation and land management work done.

Dana repaired our driveway including delicately emptying a culvert that was filled with driveway stone from a washout. He saved the culvert by being very careful and patient with his approach. Dana is professional, highly skilled, detail-oriented, thoughtful and a good communicator.

Dana was a pleasure to work with! Our driveway was looking rough and he provided his professional opinion, gave us options, and worked with us on fixing not only the driveway but improving the drainage issues that were contributing to driveway destruction. Absolutely will work with Dana again when the opportunity arrives.

Eric Jipner put in a boiler for us. He was professional and efficient and easy to communicate with. He also put in a kitchen faucet for us. We love his work and the products he installed. He is our go to guy. We highly recommend him.

Highly recommended. VT Plumbing, Heating and AC's work is professional and efficient, with attention to the details that matter to us. Eric fit us in quickly when we had an urgent need for an accessible bathroom, for which I will always be grateful.

Eric and his team (Brian) helped quickly assess and fix a bathroom faucet issue quickly after several unsuccessful attempts with other local shops. Communication was clear and responsive, work was done quickly, and the price was fair. I will continue to go to Eric for all of my plumbing and hvac needs going forward.
