Silvia is a pleasure to work with. She listens to what your goal is for your garden and then creates a beautiful work of shapes and colors to meet (or exceed!) your goal.

Not enough superlatives to offer about Silvia and her depth of knowledge, skills, creativity as well as responsiveness to us as consumers. Lucky for everyone she still insists on being a private consultant because her talent would be grabbed up by major botanical gardens and parks if she preferred. From initial exploration/planning of our wants and desires to evaluating our property, designed a fabulous new garden, listing all plants with generic and popular names, care and placement to follow up with lay out and plantings to where to obtain plants and landscape companies to install (if you prefer). She is totally efficient, brilliant and respectful of the time and investment the homeowner is committing. Rates more than reasonable.

From our initial contact throughout the entire project, Sylvia was attentive, reliable and very easy to work with. She listened to our ideas and created her design incorporating all of the things we were looking for, and made it even better than we envisioned. She was committed to keeping the plants native as we wished and beautifully blended greenery and stone just as we wanted. Her attention to detail and creativity is unmatched. I highly recommend Old World Garden Design for a beautiful and practical design and an incredible work ethic.
