Cal stopped in to check dates with us & look over our 50+ year old apple tree. When he arrived with his truck & chipper, he carefully & thoughtfully cut, climbed & chipped. He discussed the future of our tree, so knowledgeable! This was our fourth hire of Cal. Two years ago he had to severely cut our 75+ year old willow tree that was devastated by the 2023 floods, large broken limbs. It's returned so healthy! His knowledge & professionalism is bar none! And, he's a great guy to work with! 😁

Alexander Tree Service did an awesome job with four trees that were leaning over our house and deck. Not only did they safely and quickly remove them, but they cleaned up really well, were careful of big things (roofs, cars, ...) and small things (our flower garden). They were kind, polite, hardworking, and clean. I will hire them again the next time I need to remove trees.

A couple of years ago, I had Cal cut down and remove a big and old maple tree in my front yard. He did an amazing job. The tree was cut down he took all the wood away. When he was here, we walked around and looked at all my maple trees. He mentioned that I had another tree that was not happy. This spring I had Cal cut down the tree in question and I am glad I did. The tree had some rot in it and it was only a matter of time before this tree would been a major problem. Cal cleaned up all the mess and took the wood with his.

Calvin was meticulous, efficient and safe when surgically removing diseased branches from our grand old maple tree. Furthermore Calvin very carefully removed a basswood that was reaching or clawing towards our house. Overall these fellows did a magnificent job! Highly recommend.

Beautiful small nursery with fantastic quality plants. Always a great variety of perennials, annuals and vegetables. And the landscaping itself is a joy to walk around. This is my top stop every year.

Hogan Excavating called me as soon as we requested a guote on our washed out driveway Repair in Vermont for our tenants currently residing in Brookfield, Vermont 05036 (this is our future retirement choice investment property my Grandfather left us for my wife and I) We live in Cheyenne, Wyoming and didn’t know who to call or who would respond to our request in Vermont. Here to tell you, I got a personal call and quote when they could be there and resolved our washed out drive in Brookfield, Vermont within a week! Added scope to resolve some curb side appeal today and it was resolved today! We will continue future work and maintenance with Hogan Excavating from this day forward.

We used Hogan’s Excavating for fixing a sink hole and standing water in our yard. They were quick to come out and give us a quote and easily scheduled on the timeline that worked best for us. Once the work was started they were quick and efficient and we have no complaints at all! We couldn’t be happier with the finished lawn!

We had a septic emergency that plumbers left us in a lurch with. We called Steve, who listened and asked questions to better understand our situation, and he came out on a Sunday to look around and come up with a game plan. He recommended other businesses to clear and scope our line and empty our tank to assess the problem areas, and we were very happy with those folks as well. Shortly after, he replaced the part of our septic line that had essentially disintegrated out in the wind and first snow of the season. All the while, he was in good communication to help us figure all of this out. We highly recommend Steve for any and all excavating needs!!!

Our lawn needed to be leveled with new topsoil and grass seed after 2023 flood damage and after the first guy to help us did more damage than help. Steve and his employee, who are both very personable, got it done in no time and it looks worlds better than it used to! Our driveway was in rough shape. We hired Hogan Excavation to do a driveway regrade and resurface, as well as prep for a patio.
We could not be happier with the work done on the driveway our cars and pocketbook appreciate it. We look forward to using our patio in the spring. They also did a couple other small bonus projects while the equipment was here. I would recommend giving them a call for your next project.
