I called Gideon to replace the septic tank at our new house, after a different contractor left us in a bad situation. He was very responsive, was on the job replacing the tank in a matter of days after calling so we could have the work finished before the ground froze. Mangan Excavation did a great job with work and clean up. I will use them again.

Mangan Construction replaced my 75 y.o. concrete seawall. Their work was professional, affordable and Gideon always responded to my many questions promptly. My wall came out beautifully!

On time, on budget! Gideon cut about 800 feet of new road for our property including 3 culvert's and was on point with his time/cost estimate to the day/dollar. Overall cost estimate wise, the only material additions were ones that I added or could not be foreseen. I am extremely happy with his work and will hire him again in the future.

Gideon does our plowing and also has excavated / buried a propane tank for us, and done some grading. He's great — responsive, first, and then does a careful and professional job.

They installed a complex septic system for me in a challenging environment and accomplished it with top notch work, communication and professionalism. This is the second time we have used Mangan excavating. The work he did the first time in August 2022 was so amazing. This year in April 2025 we had a family emergency when our septic system failed. We got the design done. Had a contractor lined up, but unfortunately, it did not work out. I called him after hours and informed him of our situation. On Monday, I was at his shop with the plans. Not even 10 days later he was at my house. He put in a complete mound system in under 10 days. During that time. I was only without a working toilet for less than four hours. I appreciated the fact that he understood the emergency we were under as a family of eight.
I greatly appreciate the fact that he was able to work around my chicken coop, as well as my garden. I would recommend him every time!

Phoenix did an great job on a big building that is also an historic building. They were very responsive and provided a good value for the price paid. I will definitely be using them again next year.

I live on Rt 12 in Northfield Falls and my white siding has taken quite a beating over the years from road dust. I actually thought it might have to be replaced until I called Dan with Phoenix Surface Cleaning. He did an amazing job and it looks new. I highly recommend this business.

Daniel is a professional through and through. He shows up when he promises and works tirelessly to get the job done. Our house looks like it has new siding on it's so clean! I highly recommend Daniel for exterior cleaning jobs, he's reasonable in his rates (a refreshing change from the predators posting in our neighborhood for 1500.00 power wash services). Our neighborhood rallyed to hire him for a group buy on power wash services and are happy to have him in our address books as a future contact for more work. Honest, very pleasant, good work ethic, he's the fellow for your exterior cleaning work!
