We had Black Diamond Tree Service come to look at trees we needed to have removed as they were dead and near our home and had a danger of falling onto the house. They arrived on time and walked around our yard, very knowledgeable and helped us to prioritize which trees we could safely keep and which would need to be taken down. We had a fair quote within a day and owner Denise is excellent! She called and explained the quote, how the tree removal would work, and our options. They arrived a week later at 7:30am and worked tirelessly through the day until about 4:30pm; safely removing, cutting and chipping our trees. They left our yard in perfect condition. It was amazing to watch how efficiently they worked. Our yard looks great and our home is now safe from potential tree damage. We highly recommend Black Diamond Tree Service. It is a very well run company with experienced and hard working staff.

We have used Black Diamond twice to clear several areas of trees, and they were fantastic! Aaron, Jason, and the rest of the crew are such hard workers and so responsive and personable. They truly wanted to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. They were on time every day and even carried on during a downpour. The price seems high on paper but when you see the amount of work that goes into the job and how much they really are able to get done, it is more than fair. We will definitely be repeat clients in the future!

Thank you for all the planning/co-ordination and detailed assessment for the limbs/ branches we needed cutting. Contracted with Black Diamond for a job in Wilmington. They provided valuable expertise on trees that presented risk in addition to a few I wanted removed. Denise visited onsite for estimate and was detailed in her proposal and responsiveness. Bill and his team came onsite for the removal and were diligent, communicative and thorough. Even cleaning up so there was barely a wood chip in the yard. Price was on target for the job performed and scope of work. Very satisfied with work and highly recommend.

They are busy because they are awesome! Great experience from start to finish. Denise came out and did a walk around the property and addressed my concerns and wishes. She was a pleasure to work with and super knowledgeable. Aaron and Jason came out a couple of weeks later and did an amazing job! Top-notch service from the get-go from these 2 gentlemen! Efficient, pleasant, engaging, and thorough. They were a referral to us from one of our neighbors, and 100% we would use Black Diamond again when needed! Great people, solid reputation, and fair prices.

Jay was great! We had a tree fall on our house in Chimney Hill. He was there the next day. Because we weren’t there at the time, he communicated throughout the process, sending pictures when necessary. I highly recommend.
