Reviews of local pros in Shelburne, Vermont

Andrew with AC pruning did an exceptional job removing trees from my property. Excellent, safe job dropping some tricky trees, as well as chipping and cleaning up. Great work, thank you!

I feel fortunate to have my property cared for byGreen Giant Arborists. Matt tested, identified and treated the brown rot harming my cherry trees. The team also pruned my crab apples, and injected kelp base fertilizer to feed the soil microbiome. My trees are loaded with blossoms this year and look so healthy.
Last fall, a beaver did significant damage to a very tall cottonwood tree on the property line with my neighbor. Justin and his crew skillfully climbed the tree and removed it limb by limb. They accomplished this in half the time I was quoted by other tree services and half the price! They are so efficient with their cleanup, and don’t leave a trace of their work. Green Giant Arborists have also cleared some invasive honeysuckle from my property. They work so quickly, and are definitely knowledgeable with the tools they use. They also understand diseases, if you have questions about trees on your property. Best of all you can trust this team to communicate and give you clear information. Highly recommend them!

Green Giant Arborists removed a cluster of large cottonwoods from our property for us. Justin and his crew worked very hard on a very hot day. They did a wonderful job removing and cleaning up the area after cutting the trees. We highly recommend them .

Justin and his team removed a large pine tree that fell on our house during a recent storm. They responded quickly to our call, communicated well, took great care in their work and left practically no trace on our property. Very impressive outfit. I highly recommend Green Giant Arborists.

Green Giant Arborists were fantastic! They took down a very large silver maple with such skill we were in awe. They even took branches and shrubs for our neighbors across the street! Great work Justin and crew!

We had an emergency problem! While backing our trailer into our driveway, it got wedged under 2 tree limbs. Couldn't go forward or backward without causing further damage. And the SUV was half way in the road, blocking traffic. Justin came asap and cut the limbs off with no further damage done. A life saver! He even trimmed a bit more then required. He was awesome! He's very knowledgeable and we certainly would recommend him for any job you need doing. Definitely will be keeping his number handy! Thanks, Justin!

Could not be happier than we are with the service from Green Giant Arborists. Justin assessed our property for risk from falling trees at the same time reassuring us that most of the trees were part of a healthy system. He found three vulnerable spots and actually one of those came down during an early summer storm.
It was easy to schedule a work visit with his team who turned up at exactly the time specified and were fully aware of our wishes. They were efficient and oriented for safety; both personal and with regards to the surroundings. What a show! As one neighbor described “like cirque du soleil” but with chainsaws. They left the area clean and organized; all for a reasonable cost. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Green Giant Arborists! Justin was fantastic communicating with me. He was very knowledgeable going over my tree issues.
Justin & his crew were very professional, hardworking and courteous while doing tree work. Their quality of work was excellent, and the price was very fair. They left my property immaculate.
Great work & I am very grateful!

Our Beautiful multi stem Birch trees that graced our front lawn were sick! Matthew Jacobs, from Green Giant Arborists, worked magic with them. Their leaves, no longer speckled, brown and falling off all summer long , have been returned to a healthy, vibrant dark green. Matthew is knowledgeable, professional and conscientious. I highly recommend him to anyone who is questioning the health of their trees.

Limbwalker did an outstanding job removing a large maple from my property. Their pricing was very reasonable, compared to other services. I highly recommend them.

Limbwalker does great work - very professional and easy to work with.

We had Limbwalker prune and tend to trees on our property. They took care of a large sugar maple and two very large silver maples. They corded the silver maples to help ensure they can continue to grow without splitting. They also cleaned up and treated a large ash on the property and even cleared a large pile of brush that was at the base of the tree. Their communication is clear and timely, and their personnel are so friendly and knowledgeable. Pricing is competitive if not less than other services. Thank you Limbwalker! We highly recommend!

Everyone who works here is so kind and professional. They removed two trees that were dead and hazardous to our house and our towns main Street. They took care of the wood and even cleaned up afterwards. They even left a large portion of the trunk so we could make a bug hotel. I highly recommend them. If I need another tree removed in the future I will use them. 10/10.

This is the gold standard for tree services of all kinds. We have used them for almost 20 years, and have always found them expert, careful, and a positive presence. Whether they are taking down a tree, pruning, or just giving advice, we know we can depend upon them for the best service there is.

I appreciate Mike’s communication skills & integrity, and respect for the situation. Also, from my earlier experience with the crew: Gratitude for their skills, work ethic, and a nice comment made last year that was really supportive. A positive attitude is always welcome :-)

Limbwalker provides excellent customer service with a knowledgeable and personable work crew. I recently had a large section of pine fall in a winter wind storm. Limbwalker provided a quick estimate on cleaning up the mess but also helped me figure out that it was worth removing the other pine trees. They were very efficient and flexible with my schedule to access the driveway. A neighbor complimented them on their road staging and safety. I have used Limbwalker since I moved to this house in 2003. The money I have paid in tree removal has saved me endless hours of cleaning up branches or discovering damage to other parts of my property. Well worth it!

We've had very positive experiences with Limbwalker Tree Service. They've not only done yearly maintenance on the trees in our yard, but have also been working to clear a large grove of invasive Buckthorn - which is difficult to cut. The teams are made up of thoughtful, hardworking people. Limbwalker always gets back to us quickly when we call and they're professional and pleasant to work with. We highly recommend their services.

I couldn't be happier with the work that was done on my property. The lawn looks absolutely fantastic, and the attention to detail was incredible. In addition to the lawn work, the hardscaping along my driveway completely transformed the appearance of my home. The craftsmanship, cleanliness, precision, and professionalism were outstanding.
The team was reliable, hardworking, and took pride in their work. They listened to my ideas, offered helpful suggestions, and delivered results that exceeded my expectations. The finished project is both beautiful and functional. I've already received many compliments from neighbors! I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for high-quality landscaping and hardscaping work.

BD Groundwork’s has always been on time and very professional! Wouldn’t ever recommend anyone else!

10/10 would recommend. They do great work, are flexible and always on time. Thanks for offering such a great service and keeping it easy!

We had a great experience with BD Groundworks. We hired them for some lawn maintenance and to seed an area where we had removed a structure. They did a great job and left the site clean. I would highly recommend their service!!
