Home Services reviews in Underhill, Vermont

Mike is a great communicator, very reliable, and professional. He did an outstanding and efficient job removing over a dozen large stumps. Whenever we reached out to him, he was quick and knowledgeable in his response. He exceeded all of our expectations. Mike easily rates FIVE STARS!

The stump grinding job was done fast, friendly and just the way we wanted.

Terrific service at a great price. Showed up on time and completed the job faster than I expected with perfect results. Highly recommended if you need some stumps removed.

Mike is the definition of a professional tradesman. Fast response after leaving a voicemail inquiry, evaluated the work site shortly thereafter and provided an a fair market estimate on the spot. Returned to complete the work effectively and efficiently with his high quality machinery. Mike explains everything out and leaves nothing in doubt. Mike has provided a variety of services to my property on multiple occasions over the years. Mike is the first person I’m going to call when I need any field work done, don’t waste your time (or money) calling anyone else. Let Mike and Dom handle your stump grinding needs. Hands down the best around! A++++

Awesome Job grinding up a 40’x12’ area with multiple mature Lilac roots and some tree stumps. Mike has got the right equipment for the job, very reasonably priced plus very personable & responsive too! A true Professional, tells you what he’ll do for you and how.
I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you contact Mike for getting your work done! He does a variety of Landscape and Excavation too! We thoroughly enjoyed working with Mike and he’ll always be our first call for work to be done and we’ll refer him to all our friends and family !!

David has been great to work with! He really listened to our ideas and color preferences and incorporated them into how we want to use our outdoor space. He also took into account wildlife and high wind in our area to select the best trees, shrubs and landscape plants to create an overall beautiful design. We are excited to see the whole project to completion when we start planting!

David from Ginkgo Design is an exceptional designer and has a great eye for creating beautiful and functional landscape designs! He is punctual to appointments, listens extremely well, always puts clients' needs and preferences first, and is consistently responsive to questions and concerns.

David's services are an outstanding value, and his designs provide a vital starting point for any significant landscaping project. I recommend Ginkgo Design very highly and without reservation!

David was great to work with. His knowledge and experience were exactly what we were looking for to help guide us through this process. We’re excited about the vision created and can’t wait to start bringing the vision to life.

Ginkgo Design was great to work with. David was quick to respond to questions and has been very helpful throughout the process. He did a fantastic job coming up with a beautiful and cohesive design, thoughtfully incorporating our many requests. David also went above and beyond in helping us locate and procure the plants from local vendors, even though he had only been commissioned for the design itself. We’d highly recommend Ginkgo Design!

We loved working with David at Ginkgo Design and our project came out amazing! We had done so many upgrades to our house but had put the landscaping off until the end as we were stuck on what we envisioned. David helped us get there and made it so easy. Having the landscaping done really pulled the house together. We are very pleased and would work with David again in a heartbeat! Thank you David! We love it!

I worked with David Burton over a period of about 2 years to plan, and build a pool and surrounding landscape for my challenging lot, which is on a hillside. He then designed and managed the entire project beautifully, including gaining approvals from the HOA - no easy task with Act 250 and new state rulings on water runofff. There is no better person to work with than David. He is thorough, thoughtful, communicates clearly and often, manages any challenge and contractors with calm and diplomacy. He attends to every detail, and has incredible integrity. He is cost conscious. He is highly skilled at his craft -- having a remarkable eye for planning the landscaping with artistry, color, and local plants. I am thrilled with my new pool and surrounding plantings and can't wait for spring to see all in bloom. David is a gem. Anyone would be most fortunate to work with him.

"Worth every penny!" - That is what my husband said while sitting out on our new patio designed by David Burton of Ginkgo Design. We could not be more pleased with the outcome and now we are thoroughly enjoying our new outdoor space! David designed and then acted as the project manager on our hardscaping and landscaping. We appreciated his kindness, communication style and attention to detail. He had detailed hardscaping and landscaping plans that we worked through together. He had a complete and thorough budget and ideas on how to save money. The contractors that he brought in were also excellent! They all finished the work in the expected time frame, cleaned up after they finished and now we are ready for summer! Thank you David!

We’ve worked with David twice over the past three years — first for the design of our patio, plantings, lighting and more for our new home, and more recently for a complete pool and landscape project (Poolscapes Vermont). We were so happy with his first design that hiring him again was a no-brainer.

The new pool, patio, lighting, fencing, and landscaping all tie in seamlessly with our existing yard, and the results are absolutely amazing. David is a phenomenal designer and did an excellent job managing and coordinating with contractors to bring our vision to life. We couldn’t be happier!
