I cannot say enough about Justin Hale and his Catamount Tree Service of Cabot. He is very skillful and thoughtful about his work. We needed to remove four, sixty to eighty foot trees that were dying back and dropping branches on the driveway. Justin staged the area below and climbed our trees to cut them down (he does use a crane when needed). He and his crew did such a careful and efficient job that we decided to get other work done on the property over several more days. Whether they were working on the ground or in the air, they were diligent in every way including cleanup. As others have mentioned, Justin is a great communicator and extremely personable. Highly recommend him!; and in fact, two neighbors have asked him to do work for them already.

What a professional and amazing job Justin and his crew did at our property! We had some gnarly trees on a hillside super close to our house. He brought in a crane, coordinated everything with the power service, and got the job done in six hours. His quote was the most reasonable we received. Amazing work. Extremely professional, communicative, responsive, on time, and a hard worker. Wouldn’t except a dime until the job was done to our satisfaction - which of course it was immediately.

Justin and his crew were very thorough in their work. He arrived on time they started work after clarifying what was needed. Due to damage from a storm and recent icing from another storm conditions were very challenging yet the task was completed effectively and with minimal impact on surrounding structures. They also kept me informed of damage that had not been noted on my original insurance claim. I have already spoken to a friend to use their services. I recommend them strongly. We had a couple of very tricky tree removal jobs in our backyard. I called Justin after looking him up on Google. Justin was very responsive and came by the next day to take a look and provided a quote on the spot.

On the day of the job, Justin arrived on time as planned along with a crew member. He was fun and easy to work with. It was really refreshing to see someone perform such a difficult job with an easygoing attitude. After the trees were removed, we walked around the property to take look at the other trees on the property to make sure they were doing fine.

I would definitely recommend Catamount tree service to anyone who is looking for a good and professional-grade service.

Catamount came to my home yesterday to remove 4 sick crabapple trees and some overgrown shrubs. I had been given a very reasonable quote for the work previously, and I paid exactly the price quoted. Justin and his crew arrived on time, as promised. They were polite and professional, explaining every step of the work as it was being done. The tree removal was performed quickly and safely. The trees were mulched afterward; and I was asked whether I wanted to keep the mulch, which I did. Catamount even cleaned up the fallen leaves after the trees were removed. I was very pleased with their work. I highly recommend Catamount Tree Service. I'm sure I will be calling them again.

Justin and crew took on a few really tough, sick trees, including a 90 ft pine just 3 feet from my house and a gnarly 60-70 ft cherry tree. They handled everything quickly on a really hot day (95 degrees), and dropped all the trees right where they needed to go. They were quick and cleaned up, and left me chips to use for landscaping...and their rate was very affordable! Would definitely call them again for another job.

Pat seems too good to be true…it’s because he is. I spent over two weeks waiting for this guy to get back from vacation so he could look at/work on the plumbing in my basement just for him to ghost me and never respond. I had a feeling after he came out to look at the plumbing that it may have been too big a job for him but, if that’s the case, just tell me. If he quotes a low price it’s because he has no intention of coming back. Criticized other plumbers for being unresponsive and then does the same thing. If he wants more local business then he’s doing a fine job of screwing it up for himself.
Honestly, don’t waste your time.

Pat is the real deal. He is incredibly hard working and is all around a good guy. We had a clog that caused our kitchen sink and dishwasher to become unusable. Pat came out quickly and worked tirelessly until he fixed the problem. Pat now has a customer for life.
