CMD helped us recover from flood in our basement. After the first call they took care of everything. We had an amazing experience and our basement is put back together better than before.

The CMD team was professional from beginning to end. Worked with us on the plan, executed the plan at a pace and manner that worked well around our schedule and staff, finished well - but not before verifying we were very satisfied with the work. We will definitely call them first on future jobs!

I called these guys at 7 or 8pm when our ceiling collapsed from water damage due to a busted water pipe, they came within a couple of hours to cut out the damaged parts of the ceiling, set up fans throughout the area to dry the reclaimable parts and returned promptly to replace and paint the ceiling after the plumber fixed the pipe.

These guys do great work and my ceiling looks better now than before the water damage occurred. It was also a breeze to get all the paperwork sent over to our insurance company. We will 100% reach out again when we have other work needed.

The CMD crew is outstanding! The first person I spoke to at CMD was Patti. Right from the beginning, she was personable and helpful. She has consistently been there to answer questions for me! The crew of guys that worked inside of our home were respectful, efficient, and skilled. They showed up on time every day. They kept our home extremely clean in the midst of a big ceiling redo! Travis checked in and made sure everything was on track. My husband and I are so pleased with the outcome of the project. I highly recommend CMD for any work needed!

Had an excellent experience getting work done on my house! Justin was super nice and very thorough. I had new kitchen and mudroom floors installed, along with other handy work done around the house. The work was done quickly, messes were cleaned up, and most importantly Justin made sure that everything was done the right way. Would absolutely use Vermont General Contracting for any of my future home repair and remodeling needs!

We had a small job that most larger companies would pass up. Kyle responded to my inquiry and provided an onsite quote the next business day. Rather than delay the job, his crew offered to work four hours on the weekend and get it done for us.

Communication is second to none. Upfront transparent pricing and frequent updates regarding arrival times for the crew. They showed up on time, completed the job quickly, and didn't leave a mess. The crew was polite and we appreciated the little things, like removing boots when entering our home.

He priced fairly, adapted quickly, met every need, and then some, and left the space cleaner and significantly improved.

The scope of my project changed the night before work began - from half the roof to the entire roof - and Kyle didn’t miss a beat. The project was still completed within the original timeframe.

I would definitely call this company back, if I have any home issues or home renovations.
They were excellent on checking out what was needed for the jobs, and set up a time to do the jobs in a timely manner! Even called to give me a ETA on arrival time!
They changed some water lines, and added a new valve on shower plumbing, added a new cold water line on a sink, and put in a new dryer vent!
They cleaned up everything when the jobs were completed also…

Vermont General Contracting exceeded my expectations on painting my back porch and concrete stoops. Kyle, the owner, was great to deal with from the start — his estimate was spot on. Note he does not markup the material costs. He held my deposit for two months and didn't cash it until after the job was done. His worker Shawn did the actual work — pulled off the old torn screen, repaired the woodwork, and painted it. Shawn even saved me from buying a new screen door by fixing the one I had. Shawn took real pride in the details and everything looked perfect when he was done. My advice: use them.

Kyle has been a great help completing several projects, including building a second floor deck and a balcony. He is very communicative, gracious and easy to work with. He let me choose the project elements that were important to me (color, style, etc) but made it easy with suggestions, thoughtful questions and guidance. I really appreciate how quickly they were able to get the work completed. We can’t wait to start a bathroom remodel next.

Friendly and helpful.

I called Home Depot to get a price on a replacement oil furnace for a mobile home.They had only one contractor in my area that was installing them.I did a search on the contractor to see what kind of ratings they had and it was not good.They were rated 3 1/2 stars and had a fair amount of dissatisfied customers from poor workmanship to delays in finishing the job in a timely manner.I immediately cancelled my inquiry and elected to go somewhere else.

I returned an item because leaked after I installed it. They took it back no problem.
