Zenawi was great. This is my second time calling him to fix an appliance of mine. I called Zenawi the night before at 10 pm, he came the next morning. As always he was very professional and on time.He diagnosed the issue very quickly, took my dryer apart, then fixed it. Zenawi is my go to whenever I have any appliance or HVAC issues.

He is very prompt and personable, and in both cases had me back up and running as quick as possible. He even showed me where to find cosmetic repair parts on Amazon. He stands behind his work and I will continue to use him for all my appliance repairs!

This is the only business you need to call if you need an appliance or system repair. I’ve had two excellent experiences with them this year alone. They fixed a fridge and spent most of the day making sure that the new part worked and also testing the rest of the system. I called them for an oven issue more recently and had another great experience. They are absolute pros, punctual and communicate really well. They have had all the replacement parts on the truck in both instances too.

I was extremely pleased with the overall service received from Zenawi Weldemichial (Lead Technician). First, he arrived punctually within the agreed upon time, and was both professional and courteous in his demeanor. Secondly, he demonstrated a very in-depth knowledge of the problem I was experiencing, and provided a pathway to acquire an out-of-manufactured part (laying out all available/logical options). Once securing the part, he made arrangements to promptly return and fixed our faulty dryer. Finally, he went above and beyond normal expectations by providing maintenance advice and a possible solution to another issue. I would most definitely call upon Zenawi’s services again and will recommend him to neighbors.

I want to personally thank Zenawi and VA HVAC and Appliance Repair for timely service in resolving a broken drain pump on my washing machine. I was very impressed with the speed of service, which was entirely no hassle. I work from home and was able to continue working while the problem was identified and then resolved within a matter of days. Scheduling was easy and Zenawi was not only professional, but on time, helpful, and even took the time to explain the issue. Great service — submitted a request for an appt for my broken washer on Monday and Zenawi arrived Tuesday AM at 9:30AM and replaced my washer part within an hour. Would 100% recommend!!

This company came as a recommendation from my home service warranty..I was in need of a repair for my refrigerator.. It took them weeks to get the part but it was even harder trying to communicate with them..so here we are 30 days after the repair was made and it seems like my fridge could be having the same issues so I reach out to them again.. the same guy answers who repaired my refrigerator and I tell him what’s going on with my refrigerator and he says that he would come out today or tomorrow..so then he calls back hours later to reconfirm my address then says oh you have to call your home warranty again to request to have another visit to see what’s going on with the repair he only did less than 30 days ago!! Had he had told me that from the beginning I would’ve already had an appointment scheduled through my home warranty co to have another company come to check his faulty repair!! I’m so annoyed by the lack of service/response/proper communication!! I pray this doesn’t happen to anyone else in need of an appliance repair.

I can't think of a better company to recommend for appliance repairs than VA HVAC. We had scheduled a service appointment to fix our oven and our washer/dryer and got an appointment the next day. Our dryer proved to be a very difficult project, taking two days to diagnose. We were very pleased with the professionalism, thoroughness, honesty, and quality of work. While I don't look forward to future appliance issues, I am glad to know I can rely on VA HVAC to get the job done and will certainly call on them in the future.

This repair service MEANS business. Last night, I put in a repair request because my refrigerator was acting up. The repair tech showed up this morning and fixed the problem in an expedient manner. That was truly amazing and I was not inconvenienced in the least bit. WELL DONE!
