I would like to start off saying I never do reviews, however, I felt I needed to. I had tried for months to get my tree stump removed and after trying other companies, Joe’s Tree and trench services answer my request in fast, professional manner. Joe not only removed my tree stump but also leveled out the mound of dirt around the stump. I highly recommend him without reservations!

Great family business! They are trustworthy, honest and fair. Not to mention timely communications and considerate. I obtained 5 quotes to remedy a french drain problem, their pricing was extremely fair, they provided quality work and were knowledgeable. Joe took time to explain everything as he repaired. I can't praise them enough!

I have to give the highest regard and respect to this company. I had a very small stump from a crape myrtle tree taken down. It was located in front of my house and was an eye sore.
Joe made a special offer to me as he mostly does larger stumps.
When they had jobs in my area they set up a time to come out and take care of it for a very, very reasonable price … It was done professionally, promptly . Reminder notification was given a day before.

I have had Joe do multiple projects at my house. He does fantastic work, his prices are better than any competitors, and he actually takes the time to talk through his work. He is straight forward and will come up with custom solutions for each project, and has yet to be wrong about one of them in my case. Joe came to work on a job that my previous contractor left unfinished. He had a heavy duty machinery that was right for the job. I ended up giving him more than our agreed amount because he exceeded all my expectations. So if you're looking for someone for tree stump grinding work, Joe is your guy. He is professional, knowledgeable, and cares about what he does. I will definitely use him again for future projects.

Excellent communication and work. We kept getting delayed because of heavy snow, but Joe's Trenching maintained communication. They grounded my stumps below grade, just like I wanted, and they fixed an underground drain pipe. I have plenty of trees and will utilize and recommended Joe's Trenching in the future. Good price and worth it!! (Also, the workers were just kind people 😁)

5 Stars does not do this family business justice. They deserve more than 10 stars. Needed a portion of my yard leveled to install above ground pool. Called bigger companies and apparently my job was to small for them or they were very overpriced . Others could not fit me in their schedule which put me in a bind. So I found Joe on Craigslist and Gave him a call. He and his wife quickly came out and gave me a very fair estimate. Explained everything step by step. Constantly kept in contact till day of appointment. Joe and his son were right on time on day of appointment. Worked quickly in 95 degree weather and did a magnificent job! Love that they are an honest family run small business! Wish I would have used them years ago on last pool project. So if you need your yard leveled for your pool or other project give Joe a call he won't let you down! Professional, honest,

Working with Joe has been great. I had several small digging projects: pond, dry well, and firepit. Reasonable prices, expert efficient use of the equipment. He came on time and made sure I was happy with the results of the project. Will be seeking him out again should I have another project and will recommend!

I sometimes think companies are way too highly reviewed on Google, but Joe’s is actually 5/5 for a reason. He came to my house on a couple days notice to grind about 12 stumps around my yard. Brought the right machinery, did it quickly yet thoroughly, and you can’t beat his price. Also on top of that, he took all the safety measures necessary around the property before grinding. Great guy who took the time to explain some of the issues going on in my yard and how to fix them. I wish all tradesmen were like Joe!

Joe and his team were great. Easy to get an estimate (sent picture of stumps with diameter measurements), immediate response with estimate and availability. They were overly communicative during scheduling and on day of work. Joe and his son were incredibly friendly.

We hired Joe’s to grind up a small tree trunk in our backyard. From the get go, they were responsive- replying to a Sunday email - offered a very fair price, we’re able to fit us in their schedule after a cancellation, showed up on time, and made quick work of the stump, ground and cleaned up as you’d hope. And Joe was a really nice guy too. We’d hire them again in an instant and will be sure to recommend them to others.

Excellent service and quality work. We had 2 stumps with a weather complicated root systems in our backyard that also had a main cable line running right underneath them. We originally hired another company to do the work but once they found out about the cable line they wouldn’t touch it. Joe was confident he would be able to do it when I spoke with him over the phone and backed up his word with excellent work. He got the entirety of both stumps up without issue. Would recommend him for any stump needs and would definitely use him again.

Joe was amazing! Quick response time and came out and dug a perfect trench for our Comcast service through some rough terrain! Definitely a 5-star family company who were extremely reasonably priced! 🙂

Very professional and friendly. They respond quickly and have a great price for the amazing job they perform. I had 2 big trees and 2 little tree stumps to get grinded and Joe got all the roots out and deep to the stump. Growing grass over the area now. Appreciate how friendly and helpful he was. He even used his larger power saw to cut a step out of another tree stump that my kids use to get into the trampoline, didn't charge me either. All around great people, offering a huge value for the cost.

I just had Joe come out this morning to a piece of property that I'm cleaning up. His pricing was more than fair for the stumps I needed removed.

He was very good at communicating to let me know when he would arrive, and arrived when he said he would. He was very personable and quickly went to work grinding a MONSTER oak stump. His stump grinder is not your typical little machine that a lot of small-time stump grinders use. It's a beast! Your average stump grinding machine would never have been able to chew through the big stump that I had.

I also had another smaller stump which he got rid of quickly. There was one more smallish one that I told him not to worry about, but he said "I can't leave it there" and just went ahead and took care of that one also without charging me extra.

As a former small business owner myself, I like to support small, local businesses when they are providing a good service and doing it well, for a fair price. I can endorse Joe's without hesitation.
