We have used Epling off and on for many things - lawn care maintenance and landscape design/installation - for almost ten years Every single time we stopped using them for lawn care maintenance, we could tell (The weeds came through, and the grass didn't look as healthy). The minute we started using them again, our yard never looked better. Their pricing is a bit high, but they are always quick to respond, professional, and do a beautiful job. Highly recommend!

This was the first time I used Epling Landscaping and Lawn Services for my Spring Clean Up, expanding beds, and also for the planting of some flowers and bushes. We also had to have them put in a Flow Well Drainage Kit to help with a drainage issue, which I may add worked perfectly with all of the recent rainstorms we have had. From the point of meeting Brittany, their designer, to the final finishing of my Landscaping by the crew that came to my home, I never had one problem. Everyone arrived on time, my yard was done exactly as I wanted it (down to the exact way I wanted my Japanese Maples trimmed), they cleaned up before they left and you would never know they were in my driveway. The crew that came were very courteous, answered my questions, and we worked together to get 2 beds updated and looking so much better. Brittany was very helpful, professional, available, and returned my calls and e-mails the very same day !! I would highly recommend Epling Landscaping and Lawn Services and I will definitely be using them for all of our Landscaping needs in the future.

I have always performed my own lawn maintenance including mulching in the past. Epling did a great job this past year and I did not have to worry about bushes trimmed timely nor weeding the beds, in addition the lawn care crew did an excellent job. My back appreciated someone else moving twenty-five yards of mulch. The crews were very professional and hard working. The staff is very easy to work with for overseeing the maintenance and installing new plantings.

Without reservation, I strongly recommend Epling to all my friends. I've been with Epling for about 7 years and 2 homes in Loudoun County. Our first home was a residential subdivision with about a half an acre. And currently, the second is actually a farm where they take care of the manicured part of the yard. As a minimum each year, we have had them do our mowing and edging service. And periodically over the years depending on how busy I am, we will have them do something like mulching, or maybe prune the beds, or do the seeding and aerating. It mostly depended on my availability to take care of my own yard or not.

I wanted to set the stage for our interactions with the company. Also, I don't do many reviews. A company either has to knock my socks off (almost never) or like this one, prove themselves for a prolonged time. Yes, I am picky. I do ask around and I do shop around. I know that the landscape industry in this area is highly competitive. You cannot fake across the board great service for a long period of time. It takes a great team from top to bottom commuted to quality services and customer care to bring it all together.

I really like Epling. I usually get a little more than I expect at a very fair price. I have had nothing but great interactions with all the office staff at Epling especially Stacee. I have never had to call their office about a bad service to the house. I've never had to call the office about any of the maintenance folks that come to the house. I've never had anything broken at the house. Again, this is over seven years of weekly visits during the growing season. That is plenty of time to make a mistake or two, or even a bad customer experience, but Epling has not. They are doing great.

So I will write a rare review for a company that has proven reliable and has invested in a sustainable relationship with me by providing a service that has exceeded my expectations at a fair price for the scope of the work being done. It's really just a simple ask on my part, and a simple delivery by them. They are easy, not complicated, and I look forward to many more years with Epling.

We are so happy with Epling's work. They have been doing our lawn maintenance for about 4 or 5 years. For many years, we tried to do it ourselves and it was apparent that it wasn't working. Epling has turned our 2+ acres into a beautiful, lush lawn. We still do our own mowing. And two years ago, we had them add "garden visits", where they take care of weeding our beds, around our pool, pruning our shrubs, etc. I am thrilled with what we get for what we pay.

Epling just completed a fairly large landscaping project in our backyard and from start to finish it was a real pleasure. Brittany W., our designer, presented to us a very well thought out plan. Her choice of plantings was spot on to maximise screening and the beauty of our backyard. The execution of the plan was excellent also. The crew, led by Marco, was very professional and considerate of our property. Despite having to dig through many large rocks, they installed everything perfectly, and in only two days. We will definitely call Epling the next time we need expert landscaping services.

After nearly year of service, I’m completely satisfied with Epling. We have a garden maintenance contract and they have taken very good care of the plants. They also responded quickly to address my questions, and to stake a bush that had started to lean. Tad and Brittany (operations mgr and designer, resp.) are terrific to work with and I trust them to give me good advice.

Epling just completed our new back patio and did a fabulous job. Brittany did a wonderful job on the design and the installation team of two were amazing.

They just completed before Thanksgiving and we had family over for the holiday and they were stunned with how beautiful it was.

I highly recommend Epling for your next hardscape project. We couldn't be happier!

I'm generally happy with their work -- they keep our home in good shape with their regular service. But make sure you get a detailed service proposal and read it carefully. I was told I was signing up for total lawn and landscaping, but then found it would be another several hundred dollars for them to weed.

We use Epling for more and more of our needs -- the entranceway, our landscaping, and our regular lawn maintenance. They communicate clearly, do a really nice job with the work, aren’t crazy-expensive, and Stacie has a great understanding of what we want to do here. She takes pride in the look that she and her team create.
