I have used Affinity Contracting LLC for almost everything pertaining to my home over the last 10 years. They do it all! They have painted the inside of my home, complete renovation of a bathroom, power wash, changed all outlets and plugs in my home to make them have a more seamless modern look, replaced all light fixtures and fans, replaced all wood around the windows after a bad storm, and the list goes on. And they clean up after themselves which is so hard to find. I can’t say enough about this company and the level of expertise and professionalism they always bring. Even when I call in an emergency or a last minute crunch the owner always seems to find the time to get me right. I will always call Affinity for all my needs.

Affinity was recommended to us by a colleague at the U.S. Embassy in Rome, Italy. Edward and his team made all the difference in helping us settle back into our house after we moved back to DC in 2019. They hung big pictures and small, replaced a medicine cabinet and a dryer duct, replaced faucets, sanded and painted our railings, sealed holes by the human door to our garage, and more. They did excellent work for a reasonable price, and were unfailingly pleasant, punctual, and professional. They also went above and beyond to help us resolve some household appliance dilemmas. It's wonderful to know we can call on them when future needs arise!

Affinity has done two flooring repair projects in my condo. Edward was a helpful partner in strategizing the best approach. Both projects were completed smoothly at a fair price.

They work hard to get your job done quickly and efficiently. A job I thought would take at least 3 days took 1.5 days and we were back using the rooms we had worked on much sooner than expected. I would NOT recommend this company. I hired them to paint the interior of my house. The paint was rolled on quickly and you could clearly see the original color on every wall. The original color was a very light yellow, and the new color was a tan. I purchased good quality Sherwin Williams paint so this should have not been an issue if applied correctly. It was like the roller needed more paint, but was rolled anyway leaving bare spots.
When Edward said he was finished I asked him if he planned on a second coat given streaks everywhere (I pointed them out to him as it was obvious). He said you only paid me for a single coat and needed to pay him double to do a second.

Wrong answer. I felt ripped off and taken advantage of. I asked him to complete the job properly so I could settle on the bill (I paid half up front and the other half once it was complete), he left and I received a summons to small claims court. He obviously knows this process well, as I didn't want a lien against my house I settled and painted it my self. Double burn as I paid good money to have someone professionally do it and had to do it myself.

I'm glad to see so many good reviews, but my experience wasn't so positive. So be warned, Edward is not trustworthy, does an incomplete job, and will rip you off if given the chance.

We cannot recommend Affinity Contracting enough!! The owner Edward is highly experienced, prompt, responsive, personable, and executes work with precision and pride. We hired Affinity for a range of small repairs within our home to get things ready for rental. He ensured that our home was ready for showing to potential renters and did so at fair prices. Our only regret is that we didn't discover Edward's company sooner--he's been the best contractor in the DMV area that we've worked with!

Edward and his guys were perfect. I asked for my shower and tiling to be done only, I didn’t want a full bathroom remodel. I asked numerous different companies and am so glad I decided on them.

They did exactly what I asked for and finished in 3 days! It was done so well, in a timely manner and was affordable! I appreciate the attention to detail (look at how the tile and grout lines up) and the clarity of the work being done.

I highly recommend them to anyone looking for GOOD and affordable work! I will have them back when I update my next bathroom (as well as all the other things!)

The crew spent three days scraping old paint, re-attaching ceiling drywall, repairing other drywall and painting three and a half rooms.

The estimate was reasonable and the work was done well and quickly. The company was flexible with last minute requests.

The team built a portico on my townhouse. They did a great job and were flexible with changes during the process. I will return for future work.

The end product meets my expectations, however, getting to this point was very difficult and required two areas of rework. I also had to point out the need to clean the job site to a much high standard than they intended to leave it.

This company does amazing work. We have used them for exterior painting and a bathroom remodel. We were extremely pleased with the results. I would highly recommend them.

Alexa and Camilo put together an excellent crew to restore our damaged basement. They had immediate availability and ensured there was no delay in completing the work.

They want 19k$ for a regular basement walkway installation.

I had them remodel my TH in Burke VA. They were reasonably priced and I believe the quality of their work allowed us sell our home for well over asking. The drywall and paint quality alone was worth it.
