I cannot emphasize strongly enough how pleased I am with the service provided by the Arctic Sun technician. He saved me literally thousands of dollars on my AC system. Just earlier yesterday morning a representative from Snell gave me the terrible news that my entire heat pump system would have to be replaced — no alternative. And it would cost at least $10,000 to $15,000. Furthermore I would also be without AC for a very long time due to getting shipments of equipment.

So I called Arctic Sun yesterday morning because they had acquired the business of my original installer. They got a technician (Sam I believe) out to my house in the afternoon and within minutes he had diagnosed my problem and had my AC running. Then before leaving he did a complete power wash of my outdoor compressor unit. The entire cost was just under $400!

Last night my wife and I slept comfortably in a cool bedroom, unlike the one which was 88 degrees the night before.

We have subscribed to Arctic Sun for years and have never been disappointed with scheduled service. Today was our first off schedule visit as we had apparent condensate leak under A/C unit. Billy was out in short order, diagnosed the problem as a drainage pipe issue (knocked out of kilter by recent new washer installation). Billy adjusted things and then checked alternative possibilities, all negative. Top notch service!!

We were assisted by Billy today. As always with Arctic Sun, he was professional, timely, and helpful, providing clear explanations of the work he was performing and the state of our HVAC. Arctic Sun provides excellent routine maintenance and will spot problems before you find yourself sweltering or feezing.

Frank was quick and thorough with his service call. Although we didn’t receive the best news (not Frank or Artic Sun’s fault) we did discuss a plan of action to get our AC back to working.

Billy was awesome.
I called because our system stopped working and they were here almost immediately and got right to work. Couldn’t be happier.

New Update, 9/16, Billy fixed a problem with my Furnace,,,Thanks Billy,,,New update, 8/11/2025...My old AC System needed updating...Had James and Jacob arrive Monday morning right on time. Had to have the compressor, outside unit, AND the air handler, attic unit, replaced...Said they would have it all done by the after noon...They explained everything they were doing. They were very courteous and professional...Enjoyed talking with Jacob...Very smart and respectful young man...James, bless him, was up in that attic in that heat !!! I enjoyed talking with him also..And they were done and cleaned up before the afternoon was done, like they said....Thank You Arctic Sun !!!

UPDATE : Billy came & took excellent care of my furnace,,, Friendly & Tespectful ! TY, Billy,,,, Arctic Sun has been Da Bomb since they opened in Catlett...Wanda ALWAYS answers the phone with a GREAT upbeat greeting and it's a pleasure to talk with her...My Technician, Tyler, has been to my home before and is a pleasure to talk with...I completely trust his work and my furnace always runs much better after he's done the yearly maintenance !! Thank you Arctic Sun and will be seeing you again this year !!!

I have been a member of their service/maintenance plan for 7 years, and Sam has done most of the maintenance check ups. He is great to deal with, very knowledgeable and courteous. The office staff is also great to work with. They follow up with calls prior to the appointment a few days out and always call when the tech is on the way. It is a great company to work with all around.

Sam was wonderful! He drove 45 minutes on his day off to get the parts he needed. he was responsive, professional, and efficient and did a great job. He helpfully explained the problem and how we can prevent it in the future.

We signed up for their plan. The office is so friendly and helpful with great customer service. Sam was quick and professional with the HVAC maintenance check and we are so happy to have found this company. If you are in need of a regular HVAC company, this is it! They are helpful, knowledgeable, fair, and affordable. No cons at all!

Placed a call to Arctic Sun immediately after having a visit with another provider that told me they could get the part and make the repair in a week or two. With falling temperatures forecasted that wasn’t going to work. I spoke with Victoria, who was super helpful, and Arctic Sun was able to locate the needed part and arrange the repair the next day. Out service tech, Frank, was courteous and completed the repair quickly. We couldn’t be more pleased with the entire process and would highly recommend Arctic Sun.

Sam was my latest tech from Arctic Sun. Once again, really impressed with the knowledge and experience of your techs, and with the company in general, including Wanda in the front office. Clearly you all have built a strong service culture. This was just another case of fast service, done right, at reasonable cost. Thank you all.

I have used Arctic Sun for over a decade at several homes. I choose them because of their integrity and honesty - and that's worth a lot. Billy came to do our annual heating checkup recently (as part of their maintenance program) and he was a good reminder of why they stand out in the competition. He was friendly, polite, and voluntarily explained everything he was doing while I watched over his shoulder the entire time. My watching him would have upset some company's technicians, but he took it in stride! Although he didn't find anything requiring immediate attention during his thorough exam, the maintenance program is worth the money.

Unbelievable I text them this morning at 530am about a/c going out with in 10 minutes someone responded back and them Sam called me at 730 and said he can be here in 30 minutes could not believe it he showed up and fixed it. Great job thanks. Highly recommend them

These folks are great! My former landlord had them check our HVAC twice a year, as well as perform any necessary maintenance or fixes m Now that I've bought my rental property, I realize how important it is to me to keep this company! Always friendly, always accommodating, and they always tell you exactly what's going on, and whether any work needs to be done! Highly recommend!
