Reviews of local pros in Cheriton, Virginia

Noticed a thick block of ice on AC unit and A&G came same day to help us! Kind, professional, best possible service and timing. Highly recommend!

On time, professional and affordable.I have used these guys on two separate properties now. I also appreciate explaining what they are doing on my hvac systems. They are extremely knowledgeable and took time to make sure everywhere they had to go on the property was cleaned up afterwards and back to how they found it or better! These guys are awesome.

A & G Heating and Cooling helped me limp thru the heat last year trying to help me save my a/c unit. Unfortunately, it stopped working this year. Glen & Adam came again to my rescue during the hottest part of the summer and replaced the ubit with a new Bosch unit. I couldn't be happier...with the unit, but especially their great work ethic and abilities in their field. I highly recommend them for any of your heating & cooling needs! A very satisfied customer, Jonny.

I called A&G on a Saturday evening and they came to my house the next day on a Sunday and fixed my air-conditioning!!! Very responsive, very nice, very professional. We will definitely be using them again!

Showed up as scheduled. Very professional. Their work was thorough and the workmanship was high quality. Stayed late to finish the job. Very satisfied. I will use them again and highly recommend to anyone needed HVAC services.

Great experience from scheduling through job completion. Friendly service and thorough diagnosis of my smoke odor issue. HVAC cleaning made a huge difference. Highly recommend A&G Heating and Cooling!

Our AC stopped working over a weekend and we had the best experience with this company. Maria was so pleasant and professional on the phone and Glen came out later that day. He was honest and efficient. AC was back to good within a couple of hours!

Glen has been great and super accommodating for our HVAC and boiler needs. Great family owned business with a personal touch. I highly recommend his services!

Came down to our Cape Charles house and found that the upstairs A/C unit was not functioning properly and was actually blowing warm air. We were headed to OBX the next day so needed to get something done very quickly. My neighbor had a great experience with A&G and recommended I contact them. I was able to work with them to come into my house and fix the problem while I was away at OBX. Adam took care of the issue and checked the rest of our system out while he was there. Great communication, great value/service and 100% professional throughout the process. Plus they are local to Cape Charles area. Would highly recommend them for any of your heating and/or A/C repair needs.

I highly recommend A&G Heating and Cooling! I called and they came out a couple hours later. They were super professional, extremely knowledgeable & honest. Also, when I couldn't find a new filter at any of the local businesses, they were kind enough to open their shop after hours and provide one! A+ all around and I could not be more thankful!

These guys were amazing! You really help me and my family out in a time of year when heat matters. They came by diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. With friendly can do attitude. Thank you so much!

Another great HVAC service performed by Adam and Glen this Spring. They are prudent in their repair recommendations for older equipment, explaining what can be done to get me through another season. Now my 5 systems are ready for the 2024 summer heat. Bring it on.
These are the guys to call.

I cannot say enough good about Glen and Adam. They did an amazing job on our recent installation. I have actually called them again. Their response time is SUPER. Extremely knowledgeable. You cannot go wrong with A & G Heating and Cooling. Five ⭐ Service

A&G Heating and Cooling does a terrific job. We have used them at our house and also for our church. When people ask me for a recommendation, I give them A&G. They are prompt, fast, neat, and honest. They tell you what must be done, what should be done, what can wait, and what doesn't need to be done. They are great to work with and highly recommended!!

Highly recommend this company!
Our drafty old Victorian was clearly a HVAC challenge, and the first two HVAC companies we called were pretty unenthusiastic, and not at all creative, offering up a crazy-quilt solution of heat pumps and mini-splits. In the end, they ghosted us anyway. Our third call was to A&G, and life got a lot better.
Adam and Glen spent a ton of time looking at all the elements of the house including the unpleasant crawlspace and the unfortunate existing ductwork and listened to us when we asked for a straightforward and integrated system. (They were incredibly patient with my million questions.) And then, they came up with a way, using bulkhead, to deliver that integrated system.
Pretty brilliant.
It’s December now, and the heat is on, working perfectly. Doesn’t feel at all like a drafty old Victorian.
Thanks, Adam and Glen. In our book, you’re awesome!

Glen was awesome!! Our AC stopped working over the July 4th holiday and we were concerned it would be an expensive fix. Glen came out and diagnosed the problem immediately and for the price of a service call got our AC running again within 15 min. A&G Heating and Cooling will be the only company I call for service or repair on my system from now on. Thanks Glen!!

We requested maintenance as new customers on our geothermal HVAC system. Service was provided in a very timely manner. A&G service technicians were very knowledgeable with our system. They provided a thorough inspection efficiently and made recommendations to keep the system running smoothly. 5 ⭐️’s Thanks A&G

I had an excellent experience with Adam and Glen! From start to finish, their professionalism and expertise stood out. They took the time to explain the entire process, offered a competitive quote, and completed the installation efficiently.

The team was punctual, respectful of my home, and ensured everything was clean before they left. The new system works flawlessly, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. If you’re looking for reliable and skilled HVAC professionals, I highly recommend Adam and Glen!”

So glad to have found A&G in Northampton County. We've used them three or four times now. They're always very communicative and available and they are good at what they do. Highly recommend!

I would recommend A and G Heating to everyone! They did a great job installing my new HVAC. Thank you so much!
