After dealing with 3 other companies that American Home Shield sent that did absolutely nothing for the same issue we had every year for 3 years we said forget AHS & called on Pride Mechanical to handle our issue being that they did amazing work at or last residents years ago. They are very reliable, friendly, knowledgeable & get the job done with amazing results.

Don't search for another company; THIS IS THE COMPANY THAT YOU WANT FOR YOUR REPAIR!!! THEY ARE REALLY, REALLY AMAZING...THEY ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, QUICK AND THEY'RE PRICES ARE EXTREMELY FAIR. Travis is a whiz! My furnace had been leaking for 2 days, and I was worried that it would be a big, complicated issue, but Travis put my mind to ease, explained everything and completed the repair in record time. This my new go-to company for all of my heating and cooling matters...make it yours too.

On 7/22/21 Pride Mechanical Heating & Cooling services was contacted by my condo managemnt company due to my AC unit not working. They arrived the same day and conducted a through assessment of my HVAC system. The following morning representatives from the company dropped off two mobile AC units to help minimize the the frustration with not having AC as this was a great gesture that helped us cope for the weekend until our new Air handler unit and coil was installed on Monday 7/26/21.

The owner arrived on 7/26/21 with two support staff due to the complicated nature of this new install. They were very professional in how they executed this job and demonstrated a caring philosophy in how equipment was transported from place to place. I highly reccomend Pride Mechanical Heating and cooling and if Steve (owner), Travis (Service tech), or another staff member name Steve (Service tech) show up to do a job for you - you can be assured you will be quite happy with the results that you are seeking.

I have been using Pride Mechanical for over nine years. Best HVAC company in the Hanpton Roads area! The owner Steve has always been punctual, hard working, honest, and his prices are extremely reasonable! He is a really great guy and treats his customers with respect. Also, Steve's wife Nancy sets up the company's appointments and is very knowledgeable about a customer's needs! She is so sweet and caring! I last saw Steve about four years ago. I called his company the other day as my AC quit working and Steve showed up the next morning at 9am! Now that's service! He put more freon in my unit, checked it out and cleaned it. My bill was a little under $200 which I thought was an extremely fair price! Steve brought another employee Brad with him who was very courteous and helpful! I will always use Pride Mechanical for my AC or heating services! Steve and his employees are the very best! Steve is absolutely an expert in his field and his prices are very reasonable! I would highly recommend Pride Mechanical to anyone needing AC or heating services! Steve definitely has complete expertise in the HVAC area! He is totally honest and trustworthy! I also believe his prices for services, parts and labor are extremely reasonable! No need to go to anywhere else! Pride Mechanical will treat you right!

I found Pride mechanical on google. I needed an ac repair as start up and shut off were very loud. Turns out my capacitor was going bad. That was fixed with some rattling issues also in the unit. I'm very happy with the service and professionalism. Signed up for the maintenance plan. Definately recommend.

I have nothing but good things to say about the folks at Pride Mechanical. They were very reasonable for pricing, prompt for appointments scheduled, responsive and accommodating of our needs. Communication was great and they cleaned up after themselves. Great customer service.

Look no further for your HVAC needs. They have been out to my house several times for both repairs and maintenance on our 20 y.o. system. They are punctual, knowledgeable, and very professional. When the time comes for us to replace our system, we will definitely be giving them a call.

I love how Pride Mechanical is family owned. There is nothing like having the owner of the company work on your HVAC unit or install a new HVAC unit you. They stand behind their work. They do their very best to make sure you are aware of your options for a repair or replacement. I recommend them to all my family and friends.

I highly recommend Pride Mechanical. I had a fairly new unit that was not cooling and my previous company could not correct the issue. Jeremy found the problem and gave me advice as to get more efficiency and he and his crew did a wonderful job. I took out a service contract with Pride and can not say enough good things about this companys" service.

Got an appointment quick, and Travis was extremely friendly, helpful, and had us back up and running in a few hours with a new blower motor! Great troubleshooting to find the problem and quick to get the parts for us. Would highly recommend Pride Mechanical!

Incredible service. They’ve always been so punctual and everyone who has helped us has been so kind, patient and attentive. Travis and Jeremy have helped us multiple times and we love them! Travis is so good-natured and has such a wonderful attitude, very perceptive of customer’s concerns and fears and instead of insisting on their way and ignoring fears, assures us that he heard by repeating what we’ve expressed and reassures us he’ll check and reports back to us. He patiently and generously explains all we care to know. He taught my mom how to use the thermostat and wrote directions in his service summary. She wanted a hard copy service receipt even though they are paperless and he made a special note to bring hard copies from now on.

I appreciate the amazing customer service I received from Nancy and Isom. Nancy was very polite and handled my service calls with urgency and I am extremely grateful for that. Isom was the technician who was awesome sauce. He was very patient and efficient. Isom was able to diagnose the heating issues and saved me a ton of money and prevented a tremendous safety hazard. Out of the many places I called Pride Mechanical Heating and AC was the best and I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Thank you so much for being available and I truly appreciate the customer service and outstanding work ethics.

We've used Pride Mechanical a few times and will definitely use them again if necessary. Our AC went out in summer 2019 on a Saturday a week after I had a baby so we needed it fixed ASAP. Jeremy came out right at the beginning of the time window they gave us and got us up & running quickly for a really reasonable price. Unfortunately our unit was 25 years old and couldn't keep up with the intense heat this summer plus running 24/7. Jeremy came back, but there wasn't much he could do for us because it wasn't actually broken, just really old. He gave us a quote to replace the entire system and a few days later they came back to do it. Punctual, friendly, great work, and fair prices. What more can you ask for?

We just had HVAC installed in our home. Ducts and all. Steve, Jeremy, and Brad were amazing!! They answered every question we had and were very willing to explain anything we didn't understand. I am so behind excited about our new system and even more excited we went with Pride to install it. If we ever have any issues in the future we will be for sure using Pride. And have already recommended this company to a few people. A+++++

Whenever I use a company I try to always look at reviews to determine if I want to trust that company. So I wanted to post my experience with this company.

Pride Mechanical is hands down the BEST company I have ever had to work with in the Hampton roads area! I completely renovated a house I just purchased and of all the contractors I had doing work, Steve and his guys were the ONLY ones that gave me a GOOD HONEST estimate. They completed the work IN THE TIME HE SAID IT WOULD TAKE! they SHOWED UP ON TIME in the morning and worked ALL THE WAY through the day to COMPLETE THE JOB ON TIME! What more does a person want? fair honest price, quality work, show up on time and do the job as you said. That is Steve and Pride Mechanical in a sentence. I will ALWAYS use them for all my HVAC needs as long as I am in the Hampton roads area. On top of being a TRUE professional, everyone in the company are nice, friendly people. I was always comfortable with them in my home and around my family. I can not say enough times how awesome it was working with them. Ill probably send them a Christmas card just because of how great they are!

This company is fantastic. They are extremely responsive, honest, and reliable. We have old units, and they have them chugging along with their yearly maintenance. I’ve had to call for repair twice in my time with them, and BOTH times they got me on the schedule the day I called. I am very pleased and highly recommend using them for their HVAC services!

We had a great experience with Pride Mechanical. They sent out a technician named Travis K. who showed up on time and was extremely professional and helpful. The work performed was top quality and the value was great. We plan on using pride mechanical for all our heating and cooling needs.

Wow! Travis and Steve are amazing!! I had RS Andrews out to figure out what was wrong with my unit and they just determined it was dirty! RS Andrew’s Quoted me $1650!!! to just clean the unit! When I shared that information with Travis you could see the shock on his face. This company really cares for their customers. Travis was able to identify the issue with our AC unit that RS Andrew’s did not even find. RS Andrews would have just charged me all that money for the same issue to come back. Travis and Steve really saved me here and worked to fix the issue. These guys are the real deal. If you are reading this review and are uncertain, I implore your to give these guys a call! You will not regret it.

I cannot recommend Pride Mechanical enough. I manage over 70 rentals in Hampton Roads and they are ALWAYS my first call. They go out same day or next and always fix the issue quickly and have unbeatable pricing. I've had to call other companies before because the homeowner used them to install the system within a year or two and I am shocked at their greed and lack of knowledge. Do yourself a favor and call Pride Mechanical first!

Isom was so professional and nice and explained everything. I cannot stress how impressed I was with their service. Would recommend to anyone who wants good and honest service.
