Contractor reviews in Chesterfield, Virginia

Quick turnaround, good work, good crew.

Very excited about our new roof. Called for a quote, JP came and looked at the job provided a quote with all prices and break down of supplies and labor. They were very quick to respond and get the job done. Extremely nice people to work with and gave us a great price! Will be recommending them to everyone for any exterior work that needs to be done.

Extended my deck, replaced railings and surface with composite. Beautiful job!

READ YOUR QUOTE thoroughly! If you discussed something with JP, or even have him agreeing to it in writing, he won’t honor what he said unless it’s specifically included on the quote. He also didn’t complete all the work in the quote. Then he’ll charge you ridiculous amounts to correct the oversight that HE made, and if you refuse to pay, his assistant, Olivia, will bully you with threats of legal action. His guys (NOT JP, but his guys) did amazing work but it wasn’t worth the stress, headaches & sleepless nights caused by dealing with JP & Olivia. Would not recommend.

Great company did excellent job very professional and did everything to my satisfaction

Over Priced and Owner is Extremely rude

Marcos Hernandez Roofing has been doing roofing and siding for me for 20+years. Great work, comes when he says and always follows up on the jobs. A pleasure working with him.

My experience with Hernandez Roofing was absolutely incredible. They were attentive to my needs, on time, courteous and very professional. They were very fair on price and I would highly recommend Hernandez Roofing!!!

Marcos has been a great help to me over the past ten years with my roofing needs and other home improvement projects for my personal and rental properties. His prices are very reasonable and he’s reliable. Give him a try!

Marcos and his team of roofers are awesome. They have done a half a dozen roofs for me in the past year and they all turned out perfect. They are professional clean and timely. Cannot recommend enough.

I had the best experience I could imagine with this company! From the start to finish, they were professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. Marcos himself answered my call and was happy to send his crew over to give me a quote. They repaired my roof beautifully and will be my go-to business for future home improvements. Thank God for Marcos Hernandez Roofing & Home Improvement!

Marcos has completed seven home renovations for me in the last five years. I met him as a roofer but he quickly became a trusted resource for all of my renovation needs. I'm talking roof, siding, windows, gutting a house to the studs, framing, wiring, plumbing, finishing, and more. He has a guy for everything. He is a leader who can assemble a team and complete a project that you will be happy with.

Over the last 2 years I had been trying to finish 3 porches (front, screened in porch, porch over stairs) and went through 2 contractors that did not finish the job AND did not do the work properly. Wife gave me our Highlands magazine where I found Marcos and I will never use anyone else for my contracting needs. Not only did the redo my metal roof on the front porch since it was done wrong but went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure the work they did looks AMAZING. They were fair priced and worked extremely hard every day to complete the job as soon as possible. I would recommend them to anyone looking for any general contract needs. You will not be disappointed!!!

Very, very pleased with the varied repair services by this company. Very thorough and conscientious with the crew which replaced and painted numerous siding, window frames and caulking several a number compromised areas along our chimney — all in cold 35 degree weather. Thank you so much.
