    THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY!!!

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
ONE OF THEIR TECHNICIANS CAME OUT TO DIAGNOSE MY GRANDMOTHERS UNIT THIS WEEK. HIS DEMEANOR WAS HORRIBLE AND HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EVEN WORSE.

THIS VERY TECHNICIAN DRILLED A HOLE INTO MY GRANDMOTHERS UNIT TO GUARANTEE THIS COMPANY WOULD GET THE $6,000 THAT WAS QUOTED TO REPLACE THE UNIT.

WHEN SPEAKING TO THE OWNER (MR.GLENN) ABOUT THIS DRILLED HOLED HE PROCEEDED TO GET SNAPPY AND SAY”WELL WE JUST WONT COME OUT THERE AGAIN” AND THEN HANG UP ON MY HUSBAND.

THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY RUDE.
    THEY HAVE NO MORALS.
    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

George was our tech and was fantastic ! We didn't have heat and was dropping into the 30's at night. Figured out the problem and would not leave until he confirmed that the boiler was cycling on and off properly ! Thank you George !

Couldn’t have asked for any better service this week when our gas pack went out on Wednesday. Had a new unit installed & up and running before late afternoon on Friday. Then a follow up call from Mr. Rawlings this morning. Thanks again

The service technician Chris did a great job on our heating/cooling system. He fixed the blower with ease showing his skills as a professional. He was nice, respectful and clean while working in the house. I would rate Chris with 5 stars.

Not sure what's happening here; we used them several years ago to install new HVAC and they were great. Now that one of the systems needs repair we can't get them to show up. First appt. was a no show. When we called to ask what happened we were told the service tech was sick but someone would be out the following Thursday. Called that Thursday an hour before appt. to confirm and were told that noone was coming because the tech had quit (good thing we called to check!) but someone would come out the following Tuesday. Called to confirm that day and were told that the appt. wasn't for another week! Wrong. Just unreal. I have elderly parents in a room without heat or air for nearly a month now. We're calling someone else.

My ac needed repair. Calls were returned almost a week later. Was hung up on twice when I mentioned the word "warranty." You are just a number. Disgusting experience.

The star goes to the initial tech who spoke with the warranty company. However, we were clearly informed he was not supposed to do that as he had other appointments.

This is Coming from a HVAC guy (ME). I spoke to the Rawlings Tech who came out to give an estimate/ diagnostic on my grandmothers' AC unit. He told me it was flat it has a "HOLE" somewhere, I'd have to a leak test. Nitrogen check was $40, electronic leak check was $X amount of dollars and to gas it up was $129 per/lb. "Its 20 years old" he says, best to get a new one. I told him NO, no need to do any of that. We're good. While on the phone I told My grandmother to have their sales guy give her a quote on an replacement. In the meantime I'll come fix it myself. Mr Glenn the owner comes the next day to sit with my grandmother to give a estimate. I decided to travel down to my Grandmothers house to check the unit myself( remember I do HVAC). Knowing the Rawlings Tech said it was Flat I expected there not to be any gas in the unit. I go to put my gauges on the unit and immediately notice oil on the u-bins of the condenser coil. I start looking to figure out where this "Fresh Oil" (gas) is coming from and I see a drill hole in the pipe before the U-bin. At this point I know this hole just happened, the oil is wet and still dripping. First thing you learn it HVAC school is LOOK, SMELL and TOUCH....... Noway the Rawlings Tech missed this during his "Diagnostic". Why, because he told me he needed to do a leak test to find the leak. SO; This tech already knew where it was leaking and had plans to bill my grandmother for work that would NOT resolve the issue, He never actually check the pressures and he drilled the hole in the condenser coil to DEMO the unit to ensure the unit would indeed need to be replaced. See Picture below you be the judge......... This could be your Grandmother or Close Elderly Family member who will trust this company to provide trustworthy service.

I just bought a house in Franklin Virginia that I'm renovating. It had old boiler radiator heating system. I found Rawlings mechanical while searching for an HVAC provider. I couldn't be more pleased and satisfied with the process the quality of work the professionalism courtiness and genuine care that the team provided and you can tell they really enjoyed working together. I would highly recommend Rawlings mechanical for any heating and cooling needs.. they went above and beyond their duties and all their hard work was is very much appreciated. Glen Rawlings and Rawlings mechanical was the answer to my prayer

I called this company to repair my split unit A/C. They came out got out of the truck, looked at the A/C and said it needs a new compressor. Literally just looked at it. No tools were used, just 10 seconds of the techs eyes. I got charged $139 for that. He tells me that it will be Monday before they can give me an estimate. Monday I call them and they tell me they don’t have dates of when it was installed for warranty info(the AC was not installed by them) and it’s coming up as $4000 to repair. When I question this cost she rudely tells me I’ll have to someone else do the work. Wasting 3 days of time that I could have had a more reliable company be doing the work.

My heat pump died on me on Sunday. Called Rawlings Monday morning, spoke to Kim; told her my issue, asked about having someone come out..... she scheduled the technician to come out later that morning. He came, informed me I needed a new unit, took my information, when to the office and forwarded the information to Mr. Rawlings, he called me very concerned..... make a long story short. Heat pump(dead on Sunday, service call(Monday), new heat pump installed on (Wednesday) When I tell you these people were a blessing to me, believe me. I can not recommend Rawlings Mechanical enough. They are just the BEST. Thank you so much Mr. Rawlings and the whole Rawlings Mechanical team! Just wonderful!!!!!!!
