Great experience—clean, quick, and very effective.

There's a good reason this company has 5 stars! I just had an amazing experience with Gallows Carpets & Rugs cleaning my sofa. They were So professional! I highly recommend this company to my friends!

Very professional and respectful of my home.

At my age I've had professional carpet cleaning in my homes many times. Gallows Carpet and Rug did not come close to reaching that level today. The technician knew very little about carpeting, fiber science, or the three treatment options other than basic info. The prices I was quoted for those 3 levels (steam cleaning, shampoo cleaning, or premium deep cleaning) ranged from $120-$350 for two 12'x10' bedrooms and their closets. I chose the midrange service. "Shampooing", it turns out, is merely an additive, not the process of carpet shampooing I've had done before, and it was a one pass process that I'm now worried wasn't fully extracted. "Stain cleaning" was no more than a squirt of a store bought stain remover. (I own the same kind.) Until I slowed him down, Jason's steam application/ extraction technique was lightening fast, not slowly drawn up and back to give even treated water any time to DO what it was intended to do to the carpet fibers.

Even the rudimentary consideration other companies have routinely offered were missing today. My technician, Jason, didn't take any precautions before or during treatment to ensure a clean process, to include protective booties over his shoes. The machine he used spurted dirty water (BEFORE steaming, which tells me it's not cleaned out between uses) onto our hardwood floor. This happened three times before he got it to work correctly. He didn't come equipped with rags or even paper towels. I had to use rags I brought for my own cleaning to soak up the mess.
I should add this is for an empty condo we will turn over to a new tenant tomorrow.

I was not told ahead of his arrival that they do not take credit cards, although their receipts provide for it. I verified that fact with their office. We had to make electronic payment directed to the technician.

When Jason texted me (not called) last night to confirm an appointment at noon today I asked if noon was firm because I was given a 12-2 window and since I had to drive in to meet him from over an hour away, I wanted to make sure we were in sync. He replied "Is it okay for me to arrive at 12 or not?" That's verbatim! Then he must have realized how that sounded because he changed it to "be there at 12, is that okay" a minute later.

I will not hire this company again. I would have aborted their service today if I knew for sure I could find another company to come immediately. This will have to do.

They went above and beyond.

High Quality work and professionalism the whole way. Great pricing and I love the 100% guarantee. If there is a spot left on my carpet the technician said he will gladly come back and take care of it.

Very knowledgeable and explained the process clearly. Great experience!

Quick and efficient cleaning process.

Carpets look fresh and spotless.

They went above and beyond to ensure my ducts were spotless.

We are so happy with Gallows Carpets & Rugs!! They were very professional, courteous and on time!! We were very surprised that the carpets didn't even take a day to dry. We will definitely use their service again and recommend them as well.
