I had asked Bill Smith of Westar Illumination to change my old backyard lighting to something that was a little more robust, and the work was so good, I asked him to come back again and again to do more, including my house and front yard. Bill is an artist with lighting, the work is great and technically the installation was excellent. I have never had a problem with something not working. Add to that, he’s a great guy.

The best lighting structure is one you don't notice and naturally draws your eye from one point to the next. That is what Bill did for us. He really listened to what we wanted to accomplish, made several thoughtful suggestions, and didn't consider the job complete until we were all happy with the results. And Bill is a genuinely good person to spend time with. There might be people that can install lighting for less, but if you want the best outdoor lighting professional in the DMV, then you want to talk to Bill.
