Called in and had someone call me back promptly to set up a time to come over our home and replace two ceiling fans. The electrician never showed up and we never received a call stating that they would be late or a no show. Had to call a different company the next day (after still not hearing back from them) that was reliable to do the job.

Amazing service, I just called them since my microwave wasn’t working. GLS just walked me through the steps to determine what the cause was over the phone and did it with the utmost patience. Turns out it was just that the microwave stopped working. Amazing service and they just earned a customer for life! Use them!!!

Gian came out and did an excellent job installing a new outlet. Reasonable rates, fast service.

Project: Estimate to Install an Attic Fan

Summary: Just like an earlier reviewer, they still failed to show after calling me to tell me they were coming.

Facts:
April 21 - Home Advisor put me in touch with GLS. GLS told me they would come on Monday between 5pm and 6pm

April 24 - 6:10pm I call Home Advisor, because GLS had not showed nor called me. Home Advisor texted GLS who called me soon after the text but I did not answer as I was still on phone with Home Advisor. After finishing with Home Advisor I called GLS back. The service tech said I know we had an appointment between 6 and 7 but I am running late. I corrected him and said the appointment was between 5 and 6. Service tech said do you still want me to come. I asked how long before he could be here, service tech said finishing up current job can be there in 35 - 40 minutes. I said okay.

After 1.5 hours I called the service technician back and got a machine so I left a message. 15 minutes later I called back got machine and left no message. 15 minutes later (2 hours) I called again got machine and left a message that I was calling Home Advisor and that he wasted my evening. I called Home advisor and complained.

My observation:

This company has great reviews on Home Advisor and seems like they do good work based on what I read. However I cannot recommend a company that will not show nor answers their phone after they do not show. I obviously called a cell phone as I spoke to a service tech finishing a job he was on. If this is how they treat a customer during pre-sale how will they treat you after they complete a job and need to come back to fix something.

My wife and I was asked to go out for dinner but I knew I had to wait until 6pm for my appointment, Our friends had to be somewhere by 7:30pm so we never went with them because of this appointment. This company wasted my time and potential plans.

Home Advisor Reviews. Come to find out Home Advisor will not post reviews unless you used the contractor. Since they will not post reviews on how a company treats customers prior to proving service I decided to create a YELP account.

I would give them 10 stars out of 5 if that were allowed. I had a great experience with them after going through outrageous quotes and disappointing experiences with Angie's list recommended vendors.. John from GLSTech was not only friendly, polite and timely but also gave an honest assessment, estimated time to fix, a reasonable price (much much reasonable than other quotes I had received) . He explained the problem to me in plain english sans any confusing jargon and fixed the ceiling fan at cathedral height with no problem or fuss. I was amazed by how quickly he honed in on the problem and how quickly he fixed it. I would engage them again for any electrical problem in a heartbeat and I highly recommend their service!

Giancarlo from GLS Tech installed 2 outlets in our house. He was able to come for an estimate to provide expectations for the job.
His work was timely, precise, and tidy. He was also able to answer any questions I had.
We would definitely use GLS Tech for any future electrical needs.

GLS is the best electrical contractor we have ever used. We recently bought a hot tub and needed electrical hooked up as well as some additional outlets installed for outside. Giancarlo and his helper spent about ten hours at our house and were professional, careful, and so hard working. We will be calling GLS back later this summer for more work. If you need electrical work done, THIS IS YOUR COMPANY!!!

John does excellent work! He went beyond my expectations for installing 2 ceiling fans, replacing the panel, and replacing old broken outlets along with installing new ones. He made sure the area was cleaned up at the end of the day and even replaced the drywall around the panel area. Other electricians told me I would have to hire a drywall guy to repair the big hole he was going to leave behind. Give John a call if you need any electrical work done, you won’t be disappointed!

John from GLS Tech is very knowledgeable and does great work. In addition to fixing some problems I had noticed, he found other issues with electrical work done by a previous contractor and that the city inspector had approved. I appreciate that he will explain what work needs to be done in a respectful way.

GLS Tech Electrical is the best. Reasonable pricing and extremely professional. Several months ago reached out to them to correct work done by a previous contractor. Their estimated price was fair compared to other estimates received. I was extremely satisfied with their work that I reached out on two separate occasions to perform additional work at my home, which included installing recess lighting for one project and a second project to install lighting and ceiling fans in three of our bedrooms. John arrived when he said he would and even called in advance when he was 25 minutes away.
He came to trouble shoot a partial power outage. John found/repaired the defective wiring issue in no time. His price is also fair. I would highly recommend John from GLS Tech.

Great small business for electrical needs! I had several quotes for minor repair work on my house's panel and sub-panel, as well as replacing an old panel.
