Jim Sparks of Metropolitan Contractors was a pleasure to work with. Our basement project was due to water damage and involved an insurance claim. Jim contacted our adjuster and they finalized the details of the work that needed to be performed. All work was done in a timely manner by an excellent crew. We are completely satisfied with the finished project.

We had a really great experience with them. We demolished and moved walls on our first floor and our bathrooms upstairs. It was all done well and they were easy to talk to and got back quickly to any questions we had.

Metropolitan Contractors is PHENOMENAL!!! Honest, Up-Front, Professional, On Time, Informed and Experienced, and just all around great people to work with. They do a wonderful job with home improvement and have my highest recommendations. If you are looking for help with home remodeling or if you've had damage to your home that needs to be repaired asap, these are the people you want handling your project or emergency. One of the most traumatic experiences you could experience in your life is rebuilding your house and life after a house fire. Luckily, the next day friends highly recommended Metropolitan Contractors which had help them a few months before on a similar situation. Jim Corridon and his team not only did an outstanding job guiding us through the extremely complicated process of rebuilding the house, restoring the furniture, restoring the art work and getting all of our clothes cleaned and things restored. He dealt directly with the insurance company negotiating on our behalf to ensure a fair estimates. The many years of experience shows in their amazing craftsmanship. They are professionals and experienced at what they do and all of his staff were a pleasure to work with. Despite County delays Jim Corridon and his team worked continuously to make sure we would return home as soon as possible. We can only give Metropolitan Contractors 5 stars out 5! Thank you, gentlemen, for a beautiful brand-new home!

Rebuilding your life after a house fire is no easy task, Jim and his Team not only did a brilliant job on our house they helped us immensely through the cumbersome process of rebuilding a home and dealing with the insurance company. The craftsmanship is second to none, the professionalism is first rate, and everyone was extremely easy to work with, EVERYONE. They worked non stop in less than ideal conditions through a miserable winter to get us back into our home in six months, the only part of the house that wasn't rebuilt was the basement, the rest was. We can only give Metropolitan Contractors the HIGHEST OF RECOMMENDATIONS! THANK YOU GENTLEMEN for a beautiful brand new home!

Metropolitan did our repairs when we had a major leak in our upstairs bathroom. They were fast, thorough, and very respectful of our time and space. I would highly recommend them!

They made sure that every detail was perfect, they were quick and efficient, and understood my need to constantly communicate through the process after the previous contractor fiasco. Metro Contractors took on a large and complicated restoration project that involved our insurance company. They were knowledgeable with the claims process and maintained communication every step of the way. Work was done in an efficient manner. The team was courteous and respectful. We would use them again.

Metropolitan was recommended by a plumber who came out to assess a water issue in my ceiling. It was determined that my master shower needed to be replaced as it was installed incorrectly. Metropolitan gave me an incredibly fair price for replacing entire shower and tiles on the wall, fixing drywall in my dining room and painting my entire ceiling on my main level. They were on time every day they did work, extremely professional and efficient. I have a 6 person glass dining table with incredibly heavy base and they moved it and put it back before leaving for 3 days in a row, absolutely could have left it disassembled but put it back at the end of each day. I love my new shower and highly recommend them for any services you may need.

During the very cold streak we had in January a water pipe burst in my recreation room causing much damage. With Erie Insurance and Metropolitan Contractors, the repair process went great. Jim and Ben from Metropolitan were always prompt to reply to any concerns. I was very pleased with their services and my recreation room looks great!!

Metropolitan Contractors has been absolutely the best to work with on our project. They have been on time and on budget and the quality of their work is excellent. They use the same software as insurance companies making it easy to get claims processed and budgeted per the insurance company guidelines. Jim the President is always responsive and can be reached by cell or email and all responses/return calls are within the hour. Metropolitan handled the entire process of bringing in sub contractors, oversaw their work, and produced an excellent result. We would recommend Metropolitan without reservation and you should expect them to exceed expectations

Metropolitan Contractors helped our family with a basement rebuild after a loss of our room from a sewage flood. Fantastic before and after!

They did a fantastic job going over all necessary and unnecessary steps for budgeting. They gave a well structured and planned approach to the job at hand. Finally they were able to get us not only the room we had lost before, but rebuilt with a new and fresh feel to the room as well.

We had significant water damage across two levels of our home, and since it was an insurance claim, we were new to the process. I got quotes from three contractors, and Jim immediately stood out. His calming, trustworthy demeanor and thorough explanation of the process put me at ease. His price was the best, and he also noticed more details about the project than the others did.

Jim was fantastic to work with! He answered every text and email quickly and never made me feel like my questions were a bother. Ben, our project manager, was also excellent: very communicative, professional, and easy to work with.

They turned a very stressful situation into something manageable, and we felt confident trusting them with our home. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor.
