Great people working in the garden center - very knowledgeable about plants on sale and not pushy at all. Prices are a little on the premium side but then the plants and products are of equally higher quality. Sometimes some perfectly looking plants are on sale, can’t beat those prices!

Merrifield Garden Center in Fairfax is one of the best in DMV. The collection of landscaping products is truly amazing. The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. I learned how to reseed my lawn properly with good advice and guidance. I strongly recommend purchasing plants, flowers, garden decorations, and lawn maintenance products at the center. It’s a great experience to visit the center as a tourist - the center is a beautiful garden in its own right.

Merrifield is my go to for Christmas decorating. I know, I know, it’s a garden center - but there is more than just plants! The designers at all of the stores are aahhhmazing! I am always inspired by their ornaments and gorgeous Merrifield Bows - my favorite ribbon they carry is D. Stevens, once you have bow of this quality you won’t want anything else!

The garden center is expansive and offers an impressive collection of flowers, flower pots, and garden decorations. The items for sale are beautiful and plentiful. However, the prices are outrageously high—about three to four times more expensive than similar items at Home Depot or Lowe’s. While I might return to buy some exotic flowers, I definitely won’t come here for regular flowers or pots. For garden decorations, I will shop at their nearby competitors.

While we have found some of their pricing expensive we have also found that their expertise and direction is very worthwhile as they assisted us patiently finding what we wanted in the labyrinth that is the Merrifield property. Real gardeners for real gardeners.

I really really like the experience here because the staff is helpful and there is complimentary coffee and popcorn so it makes it easy to spend over an hour here. It's definitely on the pricey side but the variety and quality of the plants is better compared to what you see at some of the big box stores. I am entering my old man era so I'm starting to appreciate plants so much more. I spent most of my time on the indoor plant area. If I went outside I would have spent another hour or two there.

Our family’s most enjoyable Christmas tree selection experience was today at Merrifield Garden Center in Fairfax. Thank you Mike! You embody what the holiday season is all about for everyone.

Just shy of overwhelming with indoor plant options. Plant heaven. Front exotic orchids, to carnivorous plants. Picked up this adorable sun dew carnivours terrarium--ill put it in a slightly bigger terrarium for better growth and potential bugs. As well as this beautiful orchid that was new to me--Cheyenne Marie Pink Ice--that is wonderfully fragrant. I travel through a couple times a year and its always a stop to see what new babies im going to adopt.

Thirdly was this pony tail palm i got back in April. I dont have an updated photo of it, but its leaves are twice its size since this photo was taken.

I've always thought about going inside and taking a look whenever I passed by this place, and I finally got to see it today. It's decorated very nicely and charmingly, more so than I expected. From the interior design to the landscaping plants and flower pots, everything was beautifully and elaborately prepared. They also had various seeds, so I'll have to buy some seeds from here next time. The staff members were also very friendly.

I especially appreciate the helpful care instructions that come with each plant and the expert advice available at their plant clinic. The store is pet-friendly, well-organized, and offers a delightful shopping experience every time. I would have to share the same low satisfaction. Scheduling dates are not kept and customer service is not customer oriented.

Blades of Green, an organization that ostensibly promises to enhance the health and appearance of your yard, unfortunately excels in a vastly different area: relentless payment collection. From my personal experience, their service can only be described as abysmal, bordering on fraudulent. Despite engaging their services, my yard exhibited no signs of improvement. The results were underwhelming and definitely not in line with the promises made at the outset of our agreement.

In response to the lackluster results, I took what I believed to be the sensible course of action—I canceled the service. However, Blades of Green’s incompetence didn't end with their yard care; it extended into their billing practices as well. They billed me for services that were clearly not provided, showcasing a shocking lack of both ethics and accuracy in their business operations.

When I rightfully disputed these charges, Blades of Green escalated the situation by forwarding the matter to not one, but several collection agencies. This aggressive and unwarranted pursuit for payment reached its zenith when they reported the alleged debt to credit agencies, attempting to extort money by leveraging my credit score.

This experience has made it abundantly clear that Blades of Green is not in the business of yard care, but rather in the business of exploiting consumers financially. Their proficiency lies solely in extracting payments from customers, often unjustly. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to steer clear—there are countless other providers who offer genuine quality without the accompanying financial nightmares. Avoid Blades of Green at all costs, unless you’re willing to gamble both your yard’s health and your financial well-being.

The owner has provided me multiple services including lawn care, pressure washing, and junk removal. Services have always been reasonably priced and professional. I especially like the attention to detail in every job. Choose All Clear and you will not be disappointed!

I contacted ALL CLEAR on short notice after the snow removal company we normally use had to cancel. Carlos arrived a short time later and did an OUTSTANDING job clearing the property! He even cleared a path to the backyard for easier access in bringing the trash cans around. Not only do I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them, but All Clear will now be our go-to service for future snow removal!
