Brad far exceeded my expectations! We hired Grout Genie because we had mold behind our shower wall and it had not been properly sealed. I expected them to spend a few hours and re-seal it. What I did not expect was that it would look like a whole new bathroom! Brad somehow managed to remove years of stains. It took him 2 hours longer to finish than he initially expected, but he seemed determined to stay until every last crack was perfectly grouted. Thanks, Brad!

Richard and Josh came out and did an amazing job cleaning our 3 bathrooms and resealing the grout. Richard has a wealth of knowledge about bathroom construction and was able to diagnose a number of issues with the way our showers were constructed. He helped us come up with a plan to reseal the grout in the showers and improve the waterproofing of the floors. There was clear communication throughout the planning and execution, and they were always punctual and courteous. Excellent work, and I won’t hesitate to use Grout Genie again.

My master shower needed work done regarding fixing a shower curb, grout update and a deep cleaning. I spoke with 3 separate companies and what made me chose The Grout Genie was during the consultation I immediately knew they were going to be my choice because of the technical knowledge they had, the questions they asked, and their explanation of what was causing the problem with the shower curb and grout. After the consultation the work order estimate was sent in a timely manner, and it was very easy to process and sign off on the project.

The work order was separated into 2 separate projects: Shower Curb Replacement and Tile/Shower Grout Cleaning.
The first part of the project was The Shower Curb Replacement. This included removing the glass doors, removal of titles from top of shower curb, fixing damaged substrate, installing water proofing to top of curb. Installing single piece slab to top of shower curb and Installing epoxy grout.

Rich and James did an outstanding job and explained the work that they were going to be doing each day. In addition, Rich was incredibly knowledgeable and taught me a lot about how to properly select contractors for any house project, renovation, and repair. Rich and James were extremely professional and detailed oriented. After they completed the work Rich also explained the process for the second part of the project. Rich even followed up the day before part 2 began to give me a heads up on next steps. Their work was exceptional, and their customer support was greatly appreciated. There are not many people like Rich that know exactly what he is doing and also really care about his customers. I give them 5 stars and would highly recommend The Grout Genie to anyone.

The second part of the project was Grout and Title Repair and Cleaning. This included cleaning title on the interior of shower enclosure, shower walls, shower floor, remove soap scum/mold/mildew, tile drain cleaning, silicone replacement remove old caulk/silicone or loose grout and apply all new silicone. Brad arrived on-time and explained the work that he was going to be doing. Upon completion of the work my shower looks brand new and is outstanding. I couldn’t be happier.

Across both projects the results were excellent. 5 stars across the board and I would hire The Grout Genie and their team again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for all of your hard work, effort, and support.

What a great experience! As a fellow small business owner, I am super picky about customer service and the Grout Genie was by far the best of any of the companies I met with to assist with grout cleaning. Richard thoroughly explained the process explaining the chemistry behind mold in showers, and gave me insight and suggestions to help BEFORE I even booked the Grout Genie. You can tell he is passionate about what he does, which led me to choosing them.

While their pricing is higher then the other vendors I interviewed, it was because they suggested ways to really protect my shower so that I would waste money on just cleaning and be back to the same place a few months later. While I wasn't planning on spending as much as I did originally, I am so glad I did! The results are amazing (and this is even for a shower that is only 6 years old - I even though I was being neurotic for doing this and Richard assured me I was not!)

The day of the service, Brad and Landon were my technicians, and they were AWESOME! Not only were they so kind to my pets and me, but they did the painstaking job of handling a larger shower with subway tiles, individually treating every millimeter of grout. They stayed late to finish the job, but they knocked it out of the park to make my shower look BRAND NEW!

I will be sure to recommend Grout Genie to others, and will be calling them for future projects! Don't waste your time looking other places, they are the best!

Brad did an excellent job repairing and cleaning the grout in the walk in shower and replacing several tiles. Great attention to detail. Richard does a great job making sure you are completely satisfied. Strongly recommend.

The Grout Genie did some recent work at our home for an 20+ year master bathroom that included a tiled and aluminum frame shower enclosure and tile/tub area (Dec 2024). Tile grout and caulking were in rough shape and grout had areas of discoloration. Shower aluminum frame and glass also needed attention. Brad did an amazing job and his attention to detail is exceptional!! Brad did such a great job making the tiled shower and tub area look brand new that now I need to do a painting refresh. Highly recommend Brad and the Grout Genie.

Brad was outstanding. I've never seen someone work so efficiently in my life. Our master shower looks brand new again. This was a gift to my wife for our 15 year anniversary. She said it's the best present ever.

As senior citizens, my wife and I are not as stable as we were in our younger years. We decided to install grab bars and railing in many areas of our home to help prevent falls and injuries as we age. A Google search lead us to Grout Genie. Our initial contact with Richard was great. He was very knowledgeable, informative, and enthusiastic. He visited our home, had lots of good ideas, and we formulated a plan. His wife, Nicole, handled the contract. In due time, Richard and his helper, Josh, returned with all the specified materials and got to work. The installation was very professional, efficient, and as contracted. The cleanup was immaculate. We are very pleased with Richard, and his team at Grout Genie, and would highly recommend them to you.

Great job done by Richard and Josh in professionally working in my oversized walk in shower to remove existing caulk and recaulk the shower. The entire shower area was dehazed and thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom. Excellent job done by this professional crew at a reasonable price point. I highly recommend The Grout Genie for any grouting requirements which you may have.

We used Grout Genie to replace the tile floor in our master bath shower stall with epoxy terrazzo.

Our 10-year-old shower was in bad shape, and we started out by contacting three grout companies to replace the grout. All of them pointed out that, in addition to regrouting the walls, we should also address the shower floor—the grout was cracking and the floor had an inadequate slope. Richard was the last of the three, and he gave us the best advice. Because Grout Genie specializes in floors and minor grout repair, he recommended hiring a company that specializes in regrouting to regrout the shower walls and then have Grout Genie address the floor.
Because of the issues with the shower floor, Richard recommended installing an epoxy terrazzo floor over the existing tile.

Installing the epoxy terrazzo floor is a several-day process. On the first day, Richard and crew ground down the old tile laid down the terrazzo mixture. They returned three days later to grind down any rough spots on the terrazzo and seal the floor. Another three days later, they put down another layer of sealant.

Richard and Nicole were very responsive and easy to work with. They gave us great advice, which helped us make the best decision for our situation, and they did what they said they would do. He and his crew were timely, gave clear instructions on preparation of the area and cleaned up each day so that the bathroom was usable. They also gave us very complete instructions on subsequent cleaning and maintenance of the shower floor and the shower tile surround.

Our shower looks great. Just as important, the shower floor is now sloped properly and the water drains the way it is supposed to.

We were really impressed with Grout Genie’s work, from the quote process through scheduling and cleaning, Rich and team were consummate professionals. They explained the processes well and were easy to communicate with.

We had all our bathrooms, kitchen and bar cleaned and re-caulked. Brad, in particular, does beautiful work and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. Highly recommend!

"THE GROUT GENIE" is the "ABSOLUTE BEST COMPANY out here!!!! .. RICHARD, came in and placed 2 grab bars, fixed and replaced my shower head, replaced my door grill, and sealed the grout in the main bathroom. He is fast pleasant and very professional !!! We had a wonderful experience working with Grout Genie in June 2025. The whole process from start to finish was excellent, with a straight forward and transparent estimate and easy scheduling with the office.

Brad was an absolute rockstar during his visit to us, during which he cleaned, regrouted, and sealed our owner's suite shower. When he observed some additional issues, he was quick in communicating and walking us through our options so we could adjust our estimate/needs, and very adept in accommodating the extra time our project would need. Brad was also especially attentive in walking us through how best to maintain the new work, so we also benefited from his and his teammates' years of experience.

As to the shower itself, when Brad showed me the final result, I literally blinked like an owl and was speechless, it looked that good.

We reached out to Grout Genie to inspect, clean and seal our grout as well as do some caulking in our bathroom/shower. Nicole was very responsive in getting us an estimate and getting the work scheduled. Rich came out to do the work and we are very happy with how it turned out. Like the other reviews have mentioned, Rich is very knowledgeable, honest and hard working and also took the time to explain how our shower was built, what to watch out for and what our different options are down the road when we decide to replace. Great experience from start to finish. Corrected issues with the downstairs shower. Provided 2 quotes, one to do a complete redo of the shower pan, drain, shower door and frame. Second to fix issues with the drain pan and door. Downstairs shower so we went for the less expensive effort. Job turned out great. Cleaned up after each site visit. Great experience!
