I would strongly recommend Case Architects & Remodelers without any hesitation. A dream team consisting of Jason Burdo, Allie Mann, Elle Hunter and Kevin Shore re-imagined, re-designed and implemented an unbelievable kitchen and powder room product for my family. Every artisan involved in our project was courteous and professional, particularly Eric Travis. The Case team's care, skill, creativity, organization and timeliness are top notch. They were patient in answering our questions and intentional in crafting personalized solutions that worked for our needs. We will only use Case for additional remodeling projects, as their standards, courtesy and professionalism are unmatched!

Case Design Build is the gold standard in the home remodeling industry. As a fellow business owner and remodeler, I’ve had the privilege of touring their company in depth as a Fred Case Entrepreneur of the Year Award finalist, spending a day and a half immersed in their operations. What I saw was nothing short of excellence at every level.

From leadership to project execution, Case operates with a level of precision, integrity, and innovation that sets them apart. Their process-driven approach ensures a seamless experience for clients, and their craftsmanship speaks for itself—meticulous, thoughtful, and built to last. But what truly makes them extraordinary is their people. The character, expertise, and professionalism of their team reflect a deep commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and the continuous advancement of the design-build industry.

If you’re looking for a remodeling firm that has its act together, knows this industry inside and out, and delivers nothing but the best, Case Design Build is the company to trust. They don’t just meet expectations—they redefine them. Highly, highly recommended.

Case Architects and Remodelers did a fantastic job with a complicated renovation of my home in North Arlington, VA. The Case team included Elle Hunter, design consultant at the Falls Church office, who was my first interface with Case and stayed involved throughout my project, Jorge Leon, who did all of the architectural and permitting work, and Justin Speer, who was the construction supervisor for my project. I would be remiss if I also did not mention Case’s fantastic carpenters, and a superlative set of subcontractors. Everything that was done was incredibly high quality, and in accordance with a detailed schedule that was established at the beginning of the project. Highly recommended for any home renovation project!

Our experience was outstanding from the beginning design phase to the final walkthrough. Our team of Victor, Elena, Bruce, and Bill, made sure that we were informed at every step during the project and that we were satisfied with each stage of the work. Victor handled the project development from the start and took care to check in with us frequently during the renovation. Elena put together a great design for us and helped us with small changes and orders later on. Bruce, our project manager, ran a highly organized team of Case employees and subcontractors. He provided us with a very detailed schedule, met with us weekly, and emailed informative updates. Bill, our lead carpenter, was very responsive to all our requests and made sure that the job site was as clean as possible at the end of each day. All the crews were careful and respectful of our home. Everyone responded quickly to any questions and concerns. Almost all the work on the schedule was completed early and the overall job finished on time and on budget. We highly recommend CASE and this team to anyone considering a renovation project. We look forward to enjoying our new space and will have fond memories of our team from CASE.

    Exceeded our expectations, Highly recommend!

Case Design and the entire staff were a pleasure to work with on our kitchen remodel. Our kitchen was completely gutted, the layout reconfigured, and in the process included several significant challenges for the trades. From our initial contact with Case right through to the very end of the project, Case’s professionalism, communication, reliability, and attention detail, were unsurpassed. Allie Mann, our designer, helped us through every step of the process from initial concept to a final spectacular, mid-century modern kitchen in keeping with the style of the rest of our home. We could not be happier with the Case team and their process. A very special thank you to Jim, Allie, Bruce and Roberto.

My wife recently posted a review of Case, but I want to add my perspective.

We hired Case to undertake a significant update of several rooms in our house. We totally gutted and replaced our kitchen; we updated a half-bath; we moved our laundry room from the main level to the bedroom level; we created a large walk-in closet out of the sitting area of the owners’ bedroom; we replaced our laundry room with a butler’s pantry adjacent to our kitchen; and we converted out garage access from two openings, each of which was wide enough for one car (with a post in the middle) to a single two-car opening.

Overall, we are extremely pleased with the quality and performance of Case’s design and implementation of our home renovation. Our primary designer (Elle) discussed our goals for our project and created an initial design. Based on our responses, she revised the plans until we were satisfied. She worked with us to select flooring, tiles, cabinets, and lighting. The designs met our desires and wishes.

The implementation was world class. We were given an expected conclusion date – and Case finished several days EARLY (a result none of our friends had experienced on their projects). Our project manager ((Jason) did a masterful job scheduling and coordinating deliveries, subcontractors and carpenters. There was no time when we were left without work proceeding on our project. The master carpenter (Eric) worked on the project from beginning to end. Both he and Jason solicited our reactions and responded to any concerns that we raised. The finished project exceeded our expectations.

A few caveats. Case is not a low-cost renovation company. But we expected to pay extra for a company that designed, implemented and coordinated an array of different contractors on our complex project in a professional and efficient manner. In addition, we had almost no costly change orders. Also, Case does not provide painting services or specifics of the closet interior. This was not a problem for us, and they suggested contractors who would perform these services. As these elements would come after the conclusion of Case’s responsibly, it was easy (and less expensive) for us to arrange for them.

Would we reuse Case for other projects (and recommend them to friends)? Yes, without a doubt.

Case did major work for us -- a total renovation of the kitchen, separate pantry, powder room, laundry room, and walk-in closet/dressing room, as well as replacing our two garage doors with one big one (requiring installation of a structural beam), and exterior lighting. Their work was consistently of the highest quality. The team included Elle and Grace for the design, Jason for project management, and Eric as lead carpenter, in addition to other employees and subs. Case started the job on time and ended a week early. They planned everything carefully so that time was not wasted waiting for the delivery of materials. All of their workers went the extra mile to ensure that we were satisfied.

We plan to hire Case again for a bathroom refresh. My mom, who has a lifetime of experience with home contractors, told me that I'm the only person she knows who had a major home renovation without fighting with their contractor.

Case renovated my primary bathroom this spring.
It turned out beautiful. The team, Justin and Allie, are incredible people in addition to being experts at their craft. Justin manages all the contractor assignments and coordination. Allie pulls together options of what you like so you aren’t overwhelmed with decisions. Both have a depth of knowledge and resources that make everything easy except getting used to contractors around the house starting early in the morning. Hiring Case gave me peace of mind. They redid my kitchen a couple of years ago. As I considered redoing my bathroom, I couldn’t bring myself to hire anyone else. That’s Daisy hanging out in the shower before it was done.
