Highly recommended! David reached out to me via text during weekend hours and helped me diagnose a problem with my dryer. Without his kind and fast response, I would have been without a dryer the entire weekend.

I have nothing but positive comments as to my dishwasher repair. They quickly answered my call, came out in two days, and fixed my dishwasher. They also called me in advance and showed up exactly when they said they would. I will use them again for any appliance repair.

I have known David a very long time now and he has done plenty of repairs for me including my fridge, dishwasher, washer & dryer. Couldn’t ask for a better repairman! Always a pleasure to have him help me out when I need him.

I only communicated with the repair guy over phone for a cloth washer repair, but man, this guy was so rude when I was trying to understand his charges. For a replacement of transmission actuator, which took him about 30 minutes for the whole job, he charged $225. $70 for the parts, the rest $155 is his labor and $80 for the diagnosis. Maybe the price is reasonable (according to him), but again, what's the rational for being so rude and angry explaining? He even threatened to take the part out if I'm not satisfied. Will never ever work with this company again.

The owner was willing to get my business. Never discussed $125 fee until the gentleman came to the house. They literally just looked at the stove and diagnosed it because they could not get the screws out. I was told that it probably would not be more than $500. Than that changed to $1000. We did not use this service very unsatisfied. If they continue to do business like this their ratings will not be good even worse. The two guys that came to the house look like they were getting annoyed as we were asking questions. However they were on time even though literally it was probably a few minutes. They may think that they have a great rating but as you can see they do not.

I had a very tough fix that required multiple trips for the repair men. They didn’t give up and worked through all of the issues. They were kind and pleasant and amazingly helpful. Word to the wise - don’t buy a blue star range!

We actually didn’t use their service because when I called the gentleman told me that my dishwasher should still be under warranty. He looked it up on their site and walked me through how to contact the company. He was awesome and saved us money and I will definitely use their services when we need appliance repair!

Best appliance repair service I have ever used. Our dishwasher stopped working a few days ago. I called appliance doctor and they came out the same day and resolved my issue quickly. I would highly recommend them for anybody needing an appliance repair.

Appliance Doctor is the go to appliance service for my property management company. They are fast, reliable, and most importantly honest. They will often advise us to replace an appliance due to the age of the unit instead of making a repair, this means they make less money and our clients get the best possible service. They are the best!

Appliance Dr. is great! He came out to work on our dishwasher at the Ronald McDonald House Charities and ended up fixing multiple appliances while he was here. He is professional and was very helpful. We will definitely be having him come back to our building for our appliance needs.

When I called on Thursday, I got Dan and it was very clear that he knew his stuff and could squeeze me in on Monday as I already knew my heating element on my dryer had gone out. He was on time, honest, kind, friendly, professional and the services were reasonably priced. He even referred me to another company to work on something he couldn’t fix. I will def use again and am giving him 5 stars because that is what he deserves. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t use this company.

Poor quality of service. The quality of service was not as expected; two guys came to fix my leaking dishwasher, which is known as a straightforward issue, and they kept looking at it as if they were examining a dishwasher for the first time. They said we did not see the reason for the water leakage and suggested random stuff. I was surprised that they did think of testing any part of the machine and went by guessing. They charged me the service fees only for keeping gazing at the dishwasher.
Based on Appliance Doctor recommendation, I called Whirlpool company and they said there is no bulletin recall on your machine and they marked this note for the future, they also mentioned that the issue with the machine can be solved by them , I will update this review with the results of the Whirlpool technician

Appliance doctor is amazing. I cannot say enough good things! Dave called back after I left a message - on a holiday weekend! He immediately diagnosed the problem and ordered the needed part so it could be installed in my Viking refrigerator as soon as possible. What a life saver! And he has been equally responsive, efficient, and helpful with my Bosch dishwasher. I wouldn’t use anyone else!

1st time experience with Appliance Dr. a local owned business. David, the owner. provided a quick reply to my voice mail, came to my house in less than two hours and made a thorough check of my 20 year old dryer and found the motor was bad......just paid for a service call. Most polite, knowledgeable and professional in his work. Would safely recommend David to anyone with an appliance problem.

I have been using David Jenkins of Appliance Doctor for about 10 years. I have four apartments in Richmond filled with tenants who really give my appliances a work out! When I call, he promptly goes out to the apartment and assesses the problem. Occasionally he tells me that it is in my best interest to get a new appliance versus repairing my old appliance and I really appreciate that honest feedback. Once when we were having trouble getting a replacement part for a washing machine, he suggested I buy two for the next time I need one for the same washer in another apartment. That certainly came in handy several months later when we needed that same replacement part! I live two hours from Richmond so consider him a trusted partner in keeping these investment properties up and running!!
