I made the mistake of buying some trees and shrubs from this nursery. It's a mistake I'll never make again. Nothing I bought from here looked healthy after 3 weeks in my garden. It's taken me close to 3 months and lots of elbow grease to have the plants that survived look in any way presentable and I'm hoping they make it through the winter because they were more expensive than Meadow Farms, which has two locations nearby. I've been told from many people in the community that hired their landscaping service to avoid using them as their installed plants were sick and unhealthy as well. Apparently, one couple had their dog hit by a car when the landscape crew did not properly fix a fence they removed while rendering service. Others have witnessed screaming matches by the married couple as they seem to argue quite often. I cannot in good faith recommend this establishment to friends, family or even people I don't care for much.

    Service is very poor.

I bought 10 trees in spring, with full service to plant the trees. Their crew cut our fios line despite us telling them to avoid the fiber route. Took us a week to resolve with Verizon.

Then one of the trees died in the summer, after much back and forth, and numerous follow ups, the replacement tree is still not planted. They either ignore you or just kept saying it is on schedule next week.

I went there since it is a neighborhood nursery, so even though their price was higher, I thought you would get a good service. But it is anything but.

I bought firewood advertised as a half cord, 4'X4"x4". It was not even close - less than half of what they advertised. The actual amount was under one fifth cord. The wood included an excessive amount of decomposing logs, splinters, very short broken pieces and kindling size wood, so the useable amount is even less. The wood is also short - 11"-15" - so it will not fit on some racks - since this size makes no sense, I suspect their supplier is cutting the wood shorter to save wood, another scam like the "face" cord (a term which is an outright lie). Note that the wood was simply dumped, not stacked - the picture is after I stacked it. The reason they now get three stars is that delivery was fast/on time, the wood is very dry, and they provided another "tote" of wood hours after I pointed out the shortfall. The two loads together are still not a legal half cord. If you buy a "tote" from anyone thinking it is a half cord, you are getting less than a quarter of a cord - I consider this to be yet another scam by wood suppliers. Even if the outside dimensions were accurate, the wood is thrown in so it takes up much more room and you are getting air. I have had good experiences with Pots & Plants except for firewood, and suspect they too may be victims of this scam.

We have just had the most amazing experience with Pia and her Glass House. We celebrated our daughter´s Bat Mitzvah this past week there and we cannot thank you enough Pia for all of your help to make the night an event to remember.

Pia personally came to the venue the day before to help us with the set up (moving furniture, hanging decorations, fielding suggestions). She even stayed after we had left that day to make sure the final touches on the hanging globes were perfect. Everything we asked her for was provided. Her service was impeccable.

This is a small family owned venue and we could really see that Pia cared about how our event was going to turn out. We cannot thank her enough. The ambiance, especially at nighttime, all lit up and with multiple fire pits around the entrance, truly made my daughter feel very special....and that was the most important measure of all.

Thank you Pia. We are sure that all of Rockville will be calling you soon.

    All the best.

Guys you have really nice plans but your prices are way way above other nurseries in the area.
I understand that you guys have nursery in Great Falls, but selling greenery for $799 that in another nurseries are around $200 to 300 it's way above.
I really like to support local businesses but paying three times more for the same plan is just too much.

We had two trees planted and they are gorgeous. I had the shop choose them for me and deliver and they sent me pics and they were perfect! I also planted two boxwoods in pots from here myself and they have been very happy. The owners and staff have been very helpful and knowledgable. We will be doing more business with Pots and Plants. The shop is also really fun and charming.

What a great experience! Pots and plants has been a great place to find all of our outdoor and indoor plants and products and even have special ordered some things we needed at our house that we couldn't find anywhere else. The owners are always very helpful and it always seems like we see new things every time we stop in. Super cute, cozy, and fun place to shop and talk about ideas for our next project. Thanks for all your help!

What a charming place! Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. I went home with a gorgeous fiddle leaf fig tree and can't wait to come back in the spring. I want to check out their trees and shrubs that I had seen in their book of landscape installations that they've done. Oh! And they have a lovely glass greenhouse that they also rent out for events. Just beautiful!

Jim from Pots and plants just planted many trees in my property. Green giants, maple trident, magnolia, false hollies, japanese laurel and butterfly pugsters. He was a pleasure to work with him. He came on site and assured the trees will thrive in their chosen environment. He was professional and prompt. Aaron his colleague was also helpful. If you are looking for professionals to help you with trees look no further.

I love this place! Amazing selection of plants and and a great place to pickle out a small gift. I could go just to walk the grounds - it’s like a little oasis. A tall gentleman who works frequently is friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable.

Wonderful and personable garden center team that goes the extra mile (and then some) for its clients. They tackled our massive two patio project with aplomb! They have a wealth of knowledge and continuously come to check on progress. Jim and Matt are great to work with! This is our second project with Pots & Plants in the last two years and we’ll be back for others. Highly recommended.

I went to purchase a garden statue as a gift. There was a large variety of statues & plants. The two buildings were very atmospheric and filled to the brim with plants, tools, books and gardening knick-knacks.

The owner was very friendly. I'd love to see him turn the glass sunroom into a coffee shop or something, I could see myself grabbing a coffee and working for a few hours at a time.
