Great experience. Had a master bathroom tiled. Did an amazing job. Love the final result.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor or company. I would strongly urge you to stay away from this company at all costs. Rus (Ruslan Porotikov) installed 200 sq ft of luxury plank vinyl at my home. Here is my experience:

Pros:
1. The finished product looked decent.
Cons:
1. I reached out to him after seeing his ad online. Instead of coming to my home for a quote, he simply asked me for photos of the area that needed to be done. I sent the photos and I also informed him that the area was roughly 250 sq ft. From that information he was able to provide a quote. When he showed up to start the job, he reassessed the area and told me “this rarely happens but I have to charge you more than I originally quoted you because the job requires more detailed cuts than I originally thought”. He was referring to the transition areas, closets, toilet, and bathroom sink which he had to work around. All these features were clearly shown in the photos that I sent him. Additionally, he had acknowledged the toilet during his original quote because he instructed me to buy a specific part that was needed to reinstall the toilet after the flooring in that area complete. Furthermore, when he measured the area himself, he informed me that it was about 200 sq ft instead of 250; just to be clear it was 50 sq ft less than what I originally told him. Even still he insisted that he had to charge me an extra $400 to complete the job. I needed to get this completed before the holidays, so I bit the bullet and agreed to pay the additional money. Nonetheless this shows his lack of professionalism and customer service.
2. He showed up at a different time each day. Usually some time between 10am-12pm. He originally told me that the job would take 2-3 days. It ended up taking 5 days. He took 1 day off in between that so the work was completed over a span of 6 days. His workday ranged from 4-6 hours depending on the day, which contributed to the timeframe being extended. He probably could have finished in the original 2-3 days if he showed up earlier and worked a consistent daily schedule. My family had to work around him for a whole week. I have a wife and small children; his inconsistency inconvenienced us all. Again, a lack of professionalism and common courtesy on his part.

I used United Flooring to install ceramic tile flooring in my sunroom, as well as to replace existing tile in the bathroom with new ceramic tile. Rus was extremely helpful, friendly, affordable, and did a great job overall. He was punctual and got the jobs done in a timely manner. Other companies quoted me MUCH more and said they wouldn't be able to get my work scheduled for a few months. Rus answered promptly and came by the following week to get started. He did not mess anything up, was polite, and flexible with scheduling. He even helped me out and was understanding when there was an unexpected plumbing issue after he removed the toilet. I would highly recommend Rus for any tile needs, so much so that I will be using him again to do my kitchen backsplash. Thanks again, Rus, you gave our house a much needed makeover!
