Mover reviews in Henrico, Virginia

We could not have asked for a smoother moving experience! Rick and Steve were beyond courteous, efficient, and meticulous in their work. We were very impressed with their entire process of moving our boxes and furniture, including disassembly and reassembly. They had no issues with moving our furniture, including a king size bed set, up two flights of stairs; absolutely nothing was damaged. They even brought their own floor runners and door jamb pads. I definitely recommend their excellent services and would without a doubt use them again for future moves!

We loved working with Rick and his team! They were punctual, professional, and took such great care while moving our items. They were very efficient and navigated complex building structures to get everything transferred to the new place. We will 100% work with them again!

Highly recommend Irish Ox Moovers! They have moved us in/out of 3 homes. Always on time, friendly, professional and efficient. They were very careful with our belongings to make sure nothing got scratched or damaged. We greatly appreciate them!

Rick was the most genuine, honest, caring, person that we had ever seen in the moving business. He and his staff were very careful with all of our furniture. They moved quickly, but at the same time, they watched every corner of the house before they went in and out a room or the front door. They were prompt, organized, smart, and were strong as an ox!! We got several estimates before we decided on Irish Ox Moovers. They were not the cheapest, but we could tell that they had all the equipment needed and were experienced. We enjoyed watching the process, since it was done so efficiently. Friendly and respectful were 2 more qualities that they possessed. We would highly recommend these top notch guys!!

Irish Ox Moovers did an outstanding job! Their friendly and professional approach made our move a breeze. They handled everything with care and skill. I highly recommend their services for a hassle-free moving experience. Also, they were relatively inexpensive!

Rick did an excellent job of accommodating our move. His crew is professional and displayed excellent care for our furnishings while transporting them. They charged a flat rate for the entire move and spared us the process of haggling for more payments to deliver the goods upon arrival. Rick's professionalism alleviated the normal anxiety that is typical of the moving process. The first option for contacting a moving service in the Richmond area.

Awesome job. Arrived on time. Navigated multiple moves between storage units and my home. They were efficient and didn't waste a minute! Highly recommend.

These guys were GREAT! Able to fit me in with not a lot of notice... price was reasonable... and they worked carefully and quickly to get me moved from the 5th floor in my building to the 2nd floor. I would recommend Irish Ox Moovers to anyone in the Richmond area looking for a quality move at a great rate!

Friendly, kind, respectful, they did a phenomenal job with our move. We would hire them in a heartbeat AGAIN!!! Rick is extremely professional, honest, and trustworthy....which is rare these days. Took great care of our both homes as well while moving!!!

We had THE best experience with Irish Ox Moovers! They were timely, communicative (but also very self sufficient), incredibly considerate and gentle with our belongings, and just all around lovely to work with. Our quote was very reasonable and worth every single penny. There were a few items I was worried about since they’re fragile and mean a lot to our family and they took such good care of everything and put everything where we needed it to go in our new space. It was such a weight off our shoulders knowing everything would be taken care of efficiently (they really hustle!) and still with a lot of care. Thank you all so much for giving us such a great start to our new home!

I had five big pieces of furniture to move, which Irish Ox Mooving did in remarkably little time. They were simply the best: easy to schedule. reasonable price, good communicators, skilled and highly professional, and very efficient. Couldn't ask for a better moving experience.

Absolutely amazing experience. First time using this company and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Fairly priced, extremely polite and friendly movers, and took caution with belongings. I was extremely impressed with their ability to move a piano as well!

The 5 star ratings for Irish Ox Moovers are a complete fraud. My recent move with them was an utter disaster, and the experience was far from what their reviews suggest.

From the outset, the movers were disorganized and arrived several hours late. Their road rage was alarming, as they drove aggressively, making the whole experience even more stressful. Once they arrived, they handled our family's belongings with utter disregard. Several of our items were damaged or broken, and the response when we complained was shockingly rude and dismissive.

The entire process was a nightmare for my family, and I would strongly advise against using Irish Ox Moovers, if you value your belongings and your piece of mind.

Irish Ox Movers is hands down the best moving company we’ve ever used. We’ve used many moving companies over the past decade, and Irish Ox blew them all out of the water. Their efficiency and speed was impressive, without sacrificing quality. Other moving companies gave us a 7-8 hour estimate for our move, while Irish Ox told us 5-6 hours — and they did it that fast! Highly recommend!!

Irish Ox Movers were awesome! They were responsive, on time and very professional. They took apart all of my furniture, wrapped the furniture that needed to be wrapped and put everything back together. I had some very heavy pieces that they moved without issue. They even disconnected my washer and dryer and reconnected them at my new home. I have nothing but positive things to say about the crew. They took the stress out of moving and I would without a doubt use them again. I highly recommend them to anyone that is considering using their moving company.

Rick’s 20+ years of experience along with his team’s were on display for my three hour move! They were very friendly and communicative. Before loading, they looked through every room to make sure they understood where everything is/goes. We had two stops to make (storage unit and new place) and they made everyone so effortless and easy. I will be moving again soon and will be calling Irish Ox Movers again. Also, what a name! Price was more than fair and added a tip due to their excellent service.

Rick and his team did an excellent job with our move, they made the whole process of moving so simple for us, something I can say I’ve ever had with other movers. We didn’t have to lift a finger because they came prepared with tools and coverage for our furniture, dissembled the things we needed and assembled at our new spot. They were careful with our items and really appreciate how they took care of us during this move.

The movers were amazing! Efficient, well organized, and respectful! Would use them immediately if needed movers again!

Irish Ox Moovers came highly recommended to me by someone I trust and I'm glad that they shared the information. I'm so impressed by these movers. They were on time, fast and extremely careful with my belongings. This was a big move. They were efficient and very respectful of requests. Irish Ox Moovers exceeded all of my expectations. I was amazed by their skills and packing abilities. They made this huge upheaval of my life so much easier. The peace of mind they provided is priceless. Absolutely nothing was damaged. The quoted price was right in line with the actual price. I've already recommended them to my friends who are getting ready to move. They're awesome 👌. I'd use Irish Ox Moovers again. Thanks again Rick and company!

Irish Ox Moovers unloaded our POD in Midlothian after it traveled cross-country. They were quick, efficient, and took great care with our belongings. The time they estimated for the unloading was spot on, and there were no additional charges. The price they quoted was the price we paid. They were professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with, both before the move when we made arrangements and on the day of the move. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and will recommend them to friends and family. Thanks, Rick! We are so grateful for your knowledge and skills!

We just had Irish Ox Moovers, relocate us from Virginia to North Carolina. The entire experience was smooth and efficient. Customer service was top notch and the crew was friendly and extremely efficient. Richard was available before our move to answer many questions and put our minds at ease. You will not regret hiring these guys for you move, highly recommend. Thank you Richard, Blaine and Steven!
