Worked in a neighbor’s lawn. Parked in front of my driveway twice. Scratched the brand new paved road and left rocks gravel and sand and scratched and gouged the new paved road. Asked them to move their truck and to clean up the rocks in front of my driveway. Left a mess and moved the rocks to my lawn instead. Don’t do business with them.

They did my bathroom remodel job. They were incredible - prompt, courteous, perfectionists, finished the job early…. I can’t say enough good about them. The owner, Jose was at the site everyday checking the work, answering my questions, making suggestions. The price was very reasonable. I had to wait a few months before they could start but that’s because they are so much in demand!!

These guys added a peninsula and backslash to my kitchen. Excellent job!

Jose and his team helped me with a project for my basement. Don't waste your time going anywhere in the Virginia with any contractor and hire Jose and Munoz construction, their professionalism , hard work and commitment can be unmatched ! Not able to post pictures from my phone but they do an amazing job at everything they do and Jose personally reviews everything!

We had a very positive experience with Munoz Construction! Jose was very responsive and was patient with us throughout the project. He treats his workers well, and they do a great job in return.

Our home had a number of issues that needed to be addressed. It needed painting inside and outside. There was remodeling and structural repairs to our porch and fence. We had a number of items that "surrendered to the march of time".

Mr. Munoz met with us outlined his ideas in a quote and gave us a price. After having met with him, I really did not call the others I had spoken with briefly, because I knew that they would not be able to respond or complete the work on time and I didn't feel that they could handle all of the issues that Mr. Munoz was so ably ready to address.

Munoz Construction was completely professional despite the challenges of our house and also our situation (my husband's working while they were here and the haste we made in readying the rooms for painting.)

The condition of our property went from worn to welcoming in the two weeks he was here. He fixed our fence, our doors - inside and out, added items on after we said that we didn't want them and then realized we did. His team, amid the COVID situation, wore masks in the heat inside and out and kept their distance from us.

Mr. Munoz has different types of workers, all of whom were very respectful of our home and who did a wonderful job every day they were here.

If you are considering work on your home, you cannot do better than Munoz Construction. We are so happy with not only the result of their work, but the process they used to achieve it!

Munoz Construction has completed two projects in our home and we are extremely pleased with their work. The most recent project was a kitchen update wherein they replaced the countertops, backsplash, downdraft exhaust fan, spice cabinet pull out organizer, sink, faucet and disposal switch. They also did some carpentry work, repaired and painted drywall, and coordinated the installation of the new countertops as well as repurposing the granite from the kitchen to the basement bar area with the stone contractor. Jose and his team (Pedro and Armando) arrived promptly each morning and were a pleasure to work with. They were always respectful of our home; laying down drop cloths to protect our floors and thoroughly cleaning up the work spaces at the end of the day. They worked tirelessly to solve complex issues and create innovative and cost saving solutions. Munoz Construction is the only company I will use going forward because of their professionalism, excellent communication, trustworthiness, value and exceptional quality of work. Jose Munoz won’t settle for anything less than an outstanding finished product. I highly recommend this business for all your construction needs.

8/12/2025 - My sister had no choice but to live in my basement with 7 cats and 2 kids when her jerk husband decided he wanted a divorce. She hadn't worked in over 20 years, so it took 2 years of school & six years to get her career at a level where she could buy her own house in ridiculously-priced NOVA.

In in the mean time the basement took a lot of damage from both the cats and when the main floor dishwasher flooded the basement in year 5 (but no use fixing until the cats were gone). Add to that a bout of depression and you can understand the 'before' pictures were downright awful. Above the mess, there was also the smell. We cleaned, then used 'my pet peed' with a black light and it was much better, but the smell wasn't gone. When my dog went down there the first time after she moved out, he thought the smell meant 'it's ok to pee in here' so he did. Good thing the flooring was going to the dump.

We talked to a few contractors, but they were either crazy expensive (120K) or not very responsive. My husband saw a Munoz construction van and sent me a picture. I can tell you the rave reviews are very accurate. Jose was timely, responsive, listened to my needs and concerns (getting the cat pee smell out without breaking the bank) and offered good suggestions based on his expertise. I would send emails late in the evening and he would respond either right away or early the next morning.

We had a main-floor office that we wanted to remove the old, stained carpet and install hardwood that matched the rest of the house as well as the main even of updating the basement adding a quartz countertop and optimax flooring that I had found at floor & decor.

The crew started on the office first and matched the flooring EXACTLY!! Like you absolutely cannot tell it wasn't done all at the same time.

Jose sent us to Pyramid Granite in Springfield to select a quartz slab - they were awesome and steered me away from my first choice because it would have clashed with the existing cabinets. They helped me dodge a bullet and I love how it turned out.

Jose quoted me three weeks to complete the job and it took 16 days - not because of Jose's error, but because when we saw how good the work was we added replacing the attic exhaust fans that were no longer working, installing a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, replacing the basement bathroom fan because we found out it was clogged with cat hair (it is a bigger job than you'd think) as well as replacing the stair's carpet to the basement with carpet padding that feels like you are walking on a cloud.

We went with a bold color choice, deeply saturated walls with white beadboard/trim. The colors 'pop' next to each other, but you see every little wobble in the demarcation line between the two paint colors. At first I thought that was something I would just have to live with, but once all the paint was done, they went through and trued up the lines so that the wobble was completely gone. Like I literally there was nothing out of place.

The only extremely minor, well-handled hiccup we had was when Pyramid mis-measured the bar counter, not accounting for a change in the width of a backsplash. Honest mistake going from thin laminate to thick quartz if you just use the old countertop as a pattern.

Jose and Pyramid handled everything professionally and brought out a perfect replacement piece and installed it 48 hours later.

Jose was on site at least every other day making sure everything was going to plan, making sure the work was up to his standards and that we were happy with the results. On Fridays, we would get lunch for all the guys to express our gratitude for their hard work.

Throughout all the adds/changes, Jose kept me updated on the price delta, so there were never any surprises. Once the construction was complete, they left the place squeaky clean and best of all no smell - they even used low VOC paints. I can't recommend Munoz Construction enough.

We are very happy with the work that Jose and his team have done for us. We initially hired him to update our powder room. We were so happy with the work that we had him do more projects for us. He has refinished the hardwood floors throughout our house, he fully renovated our mudroom and he fixed our kitchen plumbing.

Jose is a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to do any house projects. He does an excellent job of communicating his thoughts and listening to our inputs. We'll definitely be using him again on our future projects.

The things that have impressed me the most about Constructology are their professionalism, knowledge, and helpfulness. Everyone on the team seems to be personally invested in producing quality work and communicating clearly to the customer. In addition, if they say they will have your project done by a certain time, it will be done by that time.

The leak in our townhouse basement had been getting progressively worse—every time it rained, I'd have to be ready with the ShopVac. I'd consulted with Merrifield Garden Center (who required $75 just to estimate the project, mind you) about regrading the back yard, and wasn't satisfied with their exorbitant recommendations. I discovered Constructology online and had a great conversation with Ehsan, who agreed to stop by even when we weren't home to take an initial look at the situation. He agreed that the yard needed to be regraded, and also spotted a crack in our foundation—either (or perhaps both) of which could have been the culprit. He explained everything in easy-to-understand terms and outlined a reasonable approach to fixing things. The price was right, and the work was done in less than a day. Most importantly, the basement has not seen a single drop of water seep in since his team finished. Admittedly, this very positive review and endorsement is overdue, but this being Thanksgiving weekend, I'm reminded of how grateful we are to Ehsan and Constructology for the fantastic work they've done. Constructology has done a fantastic job on my basement project. They were very professional. I was referred to them by a colleague from work. After I gave them a call, we were able to setup an initial consultation that worked with my busy schedule. They were on-time and collected detailed requirements and took into account how I wanted my basement to look. I was provided design documents and estimates for different options. During execution, everyone was very professional and the end product speaks for itself. I high recommend this company to others.
